Not a diet 2016

  • im 49 (35 in head) and 110kg (17 stone )

    18 months ago changed everything about my life . but put on 10KG im a maintenance engineer at a school and walk my dog 2 to 6 miles each day

    my brother has done this for 6 months and looks amazing and he told me to watch the BBC horizon program. i started this on the 1st of January 2016 with little to eat 500cal as the 1st fast day . im now 5 days in and 2 fast days down.

    im taking the 5/2 as a way of life NOT a diet.

    i just wanted to tell some one

    Well done completing your first two fast days! I think the actually starting is the worst part. Onwards and downwards 😊

    Yes I eat quite well just to much . And yes a 600cl meal takes much thought and preparing not going to wast it . Lol and thank you ..

    I did mean the 5.2 is not a Diet if you think of it like that just to loose poundage what’s the point .. I want to live and feel goid I feel Sh1t at the moment

    Every new beginning is hard, but if you stick to it (and see how and whether it works for you), it will eventually become easier. Sticking to a proper nutritional plan is very important.

    Your-MUM, I loved your post! I agree this HAS to be a way of life and NOT a diet. I did this successfully 3 years ago, but thought of it as a diet – which you naturally go off of – and gained back the weight I lost and then some. So this time, it’s a lifestyle change.

    I am doing 600 cals per fasting day, and doing them consecutively to get them over with for the week.

    We can all do this!

    Coffeebeanbrain, 2 days in a row ,, hum I’m thinking not, but what a feast on day 3 lol,

    Don’t forget jelly only 9cal

    And get rid of the scales they mean nothing 36in wast us ill I want

    Hi, I am a newbie and started last tuesday 5th January. I have approx 2 stone I would like to lose. I fasted on tuesday and lost 3 and a half pounds and then a further 1 and a quarter on thursday. I bought the recipe book so stuck to that religiously on tues but did pick a little bit on thursday. Overall, I think it should be easy to stick to as I eat fairly healthily anyway, but would definitely recommend the receipe book. I wish everyone and myself SUCCESS XX
