  • Hey everyone,
I started the 5:2 last week and have actually found things really easy so far. I haven’t been overly hungry on fast days and not been too bothered by snacking on the other 5!
I know it takes a while for your body to adjust, but on average, how long has it taken before people have seen a bit of a change to their weight/general size?
I lost nothing in the first week at all!!

    Hi,

I’ve lost 1 stone in 6 weeks. I’ve not noticed a great change physically, but I feel comfortable in my clothes, rather than having to squeeze into them. I doubt I will lose as much in the next 6 weeks unless I up my exercise.

    Good luck!

    Hi
I’ve lost 18lbs in 8 weeks. It took me about. 4 weeks before i realised that some of my clothes were too big. To be fair I had been deluding myself that I could comfortably get into my clothes so had to go from squeezing in, to fitting correctly to being too big.
People started to notice about 10lbs in and today one of work colleagues said to me ” wow you look slim, really super slim”
I didnt measure myself to start with but wish I had so get measuring!

Maybe I won’t be disheartened just yet!
I haven’t taken any measurements yet but maybe this would be a good place to start.
I was doing Weight Watchers at the start of the year and lost half a stone in the first 2 weeks which subsequently I have put back on now!
Think I have just been a bit put off so far as most people I know on this diet have lost a lot in the first week and I’ve lost nothing!

    I’ll get measuring!!
