    I have already lost around 35 pounds and have a max of 28 to go. Not feeling motivated recently. I have done the 5:2 half heartedly in the past and now feel it is time to commit.

    When I look back over my life I rarely ate anything until my evening meal, so I guess I have fasted a lot in the past. I do not struggle with fasting – I struggle with temptation. Very lucky that I am not big on chocolate or sweets. Need to adopt the mindset on fast days ‘Resist today you can have it tomorrow, or one of the other 5 days’.

    I am sure with help and support on this page I can do it.

    Hi BuzyB,

    I’m sure there are many of us that have the same problem with temptation as you. If I open a jar of nuts or a bag of chips the whole thing can be gone before I even realize it, so I just avoid those types of foods altogether. Oh how I envy those who can eat just a few chips out of a bag and then be satisfied and put the rest away for another day; that will never be me!

    I wish you great success with losing the rest of your weight. You lost a lot already so you know you can do it.
