Hi Sunshiney I have just started 5:2 this week and have completed my first two fast days on Monday and Wednesday this week. It would be great to connect and keep each other motivated! I have around 6kgs to lose but most importantly I want to keep it off. I lost 12kgs in 2013 on the 12wbt program but have slowly put back on 9 (the huge amount of exercise and constant low cals were too much).
I think I will probably fast Sundays and Wednesdays at this stage. I’ve been on holidays this week and found I got very fatigued so I’ll see how I go on the Wednesdays!

Great to meet you too! I found it surprisingly easy (ish) the first day I had a headache though which sounds fairly normal (posts suggest drinking plenty of water and some salty drinks).
I hovered around 530 cals On both days but was probably hungrier on he second day. On the first day though, I was using an Arbonn appetite suppressant drink which I think helped a lot.
Have you read the books? I found them very helpful.
