  • I completed my first fast today…. i tried it last week but it didn’t go so well.
After finding this forum with so many motivated people i decided to give it another try. And i’m so happy i did, it wasn’t hard at all once i put my mind into it.
I had two meals, spinach an egg at 11:00 and green salad and fish for dinner at 7:30.
I drank a lot of green tea and i did 1 hour weight training this morning.
I’m so happy i did it!

    Good luck.

I’ve fallen a little bit las week, but i’m back this week.
Ithink i can really stick to this way of life.

I’m so happy, i finally found something that’s working for me.
I must that i’m doing my diet a little bit different i only fast(500 cals) on monday than i intermittent fast from tuesday to saturday and sunday is my cheat day. On the days of intermittent fasting i eat in a 8 hours window and fast for the other 16, is’t great because when i eat i feel always sastified sometimes even to full, i’m just not eating all the time.
And i’ve been reading a lot about nutrition and i’m trying to eat as clean as possible.
I’m so happy i allready lost 4 kilos.

    Congrats on your weightloss!

We all need to tweak the 5:2 approach to our individual needs and see what works best for us.

I have done all sorts of combinations, 5:2; 4:3; ADF; 16:8; 20:2 and calorie counting depending on my week. Per today I have lost 7.5kg in 12 weeks, not bad considering that I have not much to lose.

I am soon going over to maintenance which will be interesting. Today was an example where I tweaked. It was a feed day, done a fast yesterday, but I had a wonderful dinner invitation where I went far over my TDEE. So tomorrow will be another fast day, the third one this week.
Bummer as I wanted to only do two fasts this week, but well…dinner was nice.

Best of luck and keep us in the loop!
    Stef.

Thank you Stef for your words and congrats to you too. You did great!
I like what you said about the individual aproach to this diet, this is the greatest part we can change it to adapt our needs, so i can enjoy everything, dinners, parties and all the social events. It’s so frustrating when you always have to say “no i can’t, i’m on a diet”. Now i can enjoy my social events( within moderation, i don’t to lose all my progress) and take measures the day after.
And the other good thing is that i know i can do it forever so i won’t gain back the lost fat.
    I’m amazed!

Here i am again after 3 weeks, i weighted myself this morning. I expected to weight less as i can see myself looking smaller but i only lost half kg.
I guess is better than nothing, i think i put some muscle weight and this might be the reason the scale only show 1/2 kg of weight loss. I lost 3,5 cm of waistline.
I took some pictures of myself on february 11th, so on march 11th i will take other pictures to compare.
But i’m definitely happy by the way i’m feeling and how i’m starting to look.
    So i will keep going!
