  • Day 8 US FD

    It’s not RainingπŸ˜€
@lilymartin My OH and I both have had regular migraines. Less now since fasting. Good to know that your migraine subsided after fasting. It isn’t easy but I’m glad you are in this supportive group! It is worth it.😊
@debster251 There are times when they compete with each other. But many times they go at their individual paces. I haven’t found that it is predictable. They each have their own, different learning style. They have their own strengths and their own weaknesses. I’ve noticed they do try to “keep up” with each other. @fordprefect would love a Ford Prefect😊 But we do not own one.βœ¨πŸ˜…
@onahealthyhigh At this point I can only imagine what a wonderful vacation visiting the rainforests would be. πŸ˜€βœ¨
@tillysmum πŸ‘ Good for you! Glad to see your blood sugar is down another point!✨
@mia139 βœ¨πŸŽ‰Yay for you! 1.3kg is a nice loss for the week!
@brightonbelle One day at a time and We got this!✨Well, I’m telling myself, “Doing something towards my goal is better than doing nothing.” Since Friday it’s been a bit more difficult or it seems harder for some reason than it was in March, my first month of losing. Although today, I will endeavor to persevere.😊
    @paulmarsh and @dunk Glad you are here!πŸ˜€
@lumat I can understand, sympathize and relate how hard it is to function with little to no sleep. Our twins, especially our daughter didn’t sleep well and for years would wake up screaming and crying every night at 1:30. Sending you peaceful blessings and light to you and your children. Hoping you may find some one that can help you out when you need a helping hand. So you can get some rest.
@flourbaby I’m ready to start the FD’s this week. This weekend; counting calories and having fun while being careful was like going through a minefield. Not easy for me. I like the simplicity of FD’sπŸ˜…
@saffy420 You deserve a wonderful new outfit that fits your new healthier, slimmer body!
@songbirdme So Sorry for the loss of your brother. Wishing you safety for your traveling to San Diego.βœ¨πŸ™βœ¨

@lou-belles I can relate. πŸ˜‰Copying the pocket list can be tricky.πŸ˜…

✨Let Today be the start of something new!
    Wishing you all well ✨Pocketeers!

Looking for inspiration, got it from @at – Thanks x
Weight to start 83.25KG which is quite depressing for me, but I’m doing something positive about it, so that’s good. Fingers crossed I don’t loose it tonight and over indulge.

    Day 7 – NFD – Toronto

Was a good Sunday with a delicious dinner out with friends, stayed below my TDEE!

    Day 8 – FD – Toronto

Going well so far (only 10:20 a.m. in Toronto though ha!). Stepped on the scale this morning and bummed as after the copious drinking/eating on Friday my weight has blossomed up. Hoping that it will go down after my FD today and that I’ll finish this week at the same number (or less!) as last week. Had a proper sweat sesh at the gym yesterday (Sunday) to get the body fired up to lose! I liked the quote someone posted about Setbacks being Setups for Comebacks – this will be my motto as I start this second week in May of fasting!

    second post.
@annemarilyn thanks for the heads up about Bert. I’d forgotten where she was up to.
@okeydokey I so agree that support is a wonderful thing – keeps me on track. Also well down for your twins – clever children.
@lola907 , I’m not sure what white pudding is either!! I know black pudding is made with blood. I saw a white pudding once, it looked a bit like a salami but was white so can’t imagine what is in it – daren’t think about it too much.
Been fasting all day, it’s getting colder here and I’m feeling hungry enough to seek out that tripe and white pudding …. so am reading posts, looking for motivation which I now have after reading everyone’s contributions ( pages 14 – 16) and so will head to bed and not eat. Yay!! Hope the headache monster stays away.
I have seen some interesting programmes on Alaska but can’t begin to imagine how cold it must be. You are doing well to do fasts in such a, seemingly, cold climate.

    Day 8 – USA – NFD

@lola907, just wanted you to know that I found those 2.6 lbs. that you lost – they waded over the pond to me during this week’s weigh-in! Want them back? I’m not exactly on the lookout, though, for the inches lost lately, so I’m not too upset. My OH and I are seeing the need to cut back on our beer garden afternoons! Retirement is a two-edged sword sometimes! I am sure that is the culprit causing stalls in weight loss. Maybe I should start “the beer pocket” and become accountable???

Day 8 – SW WA USA – FD

Good to read all the posts & get the progress reports on people’s journeys.

@metatauta, I think some other pounds have found their way onto my body. I can’t blame anyone but myself. I do so much better on the FDs than the NFDs.

Okay, with all the other pocketeers, I’m working on a great FD!

@at – I’m definitely set up for a come back! Thank you for your continued encouragement.

Day 6,7 and 8. Wisconsin, USA – FD today

I apologize. Gone all weekend watching track and wrestling meets.

I had good NFD’s. I believe my body has switched into fat burning, so hunger that used to feel excruciating is now mildly annoying, and then it passes. I remember when I first started this a year ago. I could not understand when people said their fast days went well. Fasting felt unbearable to me.

Now, I understand the science of being fat adapted, and the practical application is being able to go without food for much longer. I feel so grateful to have this knowledge. I’d like to share it with people in my life, but have learned the hard way that many people are not interested, and find the subject annoying. πŸ™‚ So, I am very happy to be here.

    Have a wonderful week, everyone!

Interesting read from US News and World Report about various weight loss programs (ranking them). http://health.usnews.com/best-diet

    They said, regarding Weight Watchers,

” The program’s success is likely explained by its regular weigh-ins and group meetings, which hold dieters accountable while offering support and motivation. ”

Now back to my words, haha… I think that this board has had such successful outcomes with its participants due to the accountability of the monthly challenges. Many that I know who have been on Weight Watchers say the same thing, ” while I was doing it actively and attending the meetings, I was successful. ”

Day 8! MT USA – FD

This will be an interesting one – long day yesterday and I didn’t eat well so I have a feeling I’m going to be real hungry today! I can do it though!

Day 8 – West Mids, UK – FD

I’m tracking my weight weekly on a Monday – lost 3.5llbs, very happy, under 12st, current weight is 11st 13 1/2 lbs.

Kept within my calories, ate healthy but had a few wines this weekend.

FD going well so far, want to hold on for the 12 hr fast, so need to wait until 7.30

    Hello everyone!

    Day 8, Houston USA, NFD

Weighed myself this morning and I lost 4lbs from last Monday, pretty pleased with that, considering that I did nlt do any exercise last week due to exams.
Also noticed that my favorite pair of pants were slightly loose on the waist and thighs… I did not have the time to take any measurement yet though, will try to do it this evening after work.

Recap of Day 7 (4th NFD of the week):

    Breakfast:
    – Coffee Cake (1/2 slice)
    – Black Coffee (1 cup)
I noticed that the Coffee Cake tasted too sweet and I could only ate 1/2 slice, cutting sugar in the past week definitely changed my taste buds…

    Lunch:
    – Stir fry tofu with honey sauce (1 cup)
    – Blanched broccoli (1 cup)
    – Plain Iced Tea with lemon juice of 1 lemon

    Dinner:
    – Duck Confit (1 thigh)
    – Parsnip puree and side salad
    – Red wine (75 ml)

    Throughout the day:
    – Water (2 litres)

Today is NFD as I can’t handle Monday with fasting…

Will do B3B FD on Tue-Wed-Thu and try to squeeze in some exercise this week.

    Allie

    Day8 lancaster pa FD.

Can’t remember who posted but found this definition of White Pudding on Wikipedia:

White pudding or oatmeal pudding is a meat dish popular in Ireland, Scotland, Northumberland, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. White pudding is similar to black pudding, but does not include blood; it consists of pork meat and fat, suet, bread and oatmeal formed into a large sausage. Hog’s pudding, made in Somerset, Cornwall and Devon, is similar, although it is much spicier as it contains black pepper, cumin, basil and garlic.

I love black pudding but I could fancy a slice of Hogs pudding!

    DAY 8-FD-USA

    [post removed]

    Day 8 – FIN – FD

I’ve had my ~500 kcals for the day – ended my fast a little after 14 o’clock, and had my last meal before 19, so that makes this also a 19:5 day. I’ve eaten a pear, homemade vegetable patties and cherry tomatoes (250 g) for lunch and a few slices of cheese and turkey cold cuts followed by curd (250 g) with pureed strawberries and a sprinkle of ground flax seeds for dinner. I also assume I’m at about 2 liters in liquids atm. Working in another liter feels like a bit of a stretch as it’s already past 21, but I’ll have at least a few more glasses.

@okeydokey Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement. She (my grandmother) passed away a few days before I joined the forum in March, so I’ve had some time to adjust to the thought of her not being here anymore. Still, I would lie if I said it wouldn’t affect me still (especially my ability to do my studies, which I should very much be doing at the moment as I have a final DL for a project in 3 days).
At first I noticed that fasting made me more mindful in terms of my NFD eating (I also seem to get full on less food compared to before), but I have started to struggle with the mindfulness after the reintroduction of sweets/sugar to my diet on Easter. Not too surprising taking into account even what little I know about sugar. I think the key for improvement for me is being able to keep sweets to a minimum and aiming for one “candy” day a week, something I haven’t been able to accomplish yet.
I try to be lenient to myself, but I suppose the frustration I get from being paralyzed in other fields of my life shows itself also in my relation to eating.
Thank you for your advice. It’s great to see how both you and @at still seem to continue volunteering as co-hosts this month and share encouragement and positive energy to the rest of us (as do so many others here as well, and it’s truly wonderful).

    Day 7–Albuquerque, New Mexico–NFD

Thank you to all of you who made me laugh today: @lola907, losing control on Cinco de Mayo (and why would you NOT lose control? I ate half a pound of Texas BBQ that day. Ugh) and @lilymartin –now I’ll have that song stuck in my head all day! And @lindasue, thank you for your beautiful post. I misread your weed killer recipe and thought it was some kind of cleansing tea! Glad I didn’t try it before going back and reading a second time!

I’m trying to train my body to skip bf on NFDs because, at least last week, went WAY over my TDEEs. Nighttime is my habitual eating time so I need to work on that. Read instead of watching tv or, if I do watch tv, have something going on with my hands like knitting or something….something?…anything!

keetseel, your post made ME laugh ! I think you might get by with drinking a wee bit of Epsom salts, a wee bit of vinegar and a wee bit of hot water (if not too hot) but not sure about the Dawn liquid ! That might indeed make it a “cleaning” tea, pun intended…

Love your beautiful city, spent many hours at Rio Rancho and OldTown – even wandered up to Sante Fe on many a day. Just a stunning area to live in.

Thanks for your kind words, the older I get and realize that my days on this mortal Earth are getting shorter – I try to embrace and be grateful for each and every moment that I am alive.

    Day 6 – CARDIFF UK – NFD
    Day 7 – CARDIFF UK – NFD
    Day 8 – CARDIFF UK – NFD

    Starting Weight : 159.0lbs
    Today’s Weight : 159.5lbs
    Target Weight : 154.0lbs

    Evening everyone

Firstly, thanks for all the kind wishes for myself and my OH. Even when I don’t get chance to post myself, I still manage to read every entry and some lovely comments have come along just when I needed them.

I’m not really feeling in the right place for a proper FD at the moment, so I’ve given myself the advice I would give someone else, and decided to just try and keep it controlled. So Mon – Fri I’m hoping to keep at 800 cals or under, go up to TDEE on the weekend with a few treats, and then get back to a proper fasting pattern next week – hopefully with a couple of liquid fasts.

Tomorrow is my youngest daughter’s 1st GCSE of the year so the stress we’ve had is probably going to increase until she finishes her last exam in late June. This first exam is Welsh, and as I don’t speak the language I can’t even help with revision. Probably just as well as tempers tend to fray at these times.

A long list of Pocketeers for todays Mass Fast Monday – hope you’re all managing without too much of a struggle.

Hope to get back into the habit of popping by daily, there’s so much great support here.

    Day 5- NFD
    Day 6 -NFD
    Day 7 -NFD
Day 8 was going to be a fast day but it’s all gone down hill. Had big plans to remain on track over the weekend but no where near it! Struggled today and now beating myself up grrrr 😑In stead of throwing in the towel I’m going to take a deep breath and try again tomorrow and do a fast day. Wish me luck !

Day 8, Pacific NW USA, FD with BPC and a light seafood dinner. Planning to follow today’s low cal FD with a B2B liquid only FD tomorrow until Wednesday breakfast.

So many great successes in the last 2 pages, both weight reductions and self-awareness stories – I congratulate you each and everyone by a big smile and thumbs up as I read your posts!

My triggers that open the eating floodgate are fatigue, depression and refined carbs (and they are probably interconnected). I think if I at least call it what it is and verbalize, “I’m not actually hungry, I want to eat this because I’m tired” then that cognitive awareness might eventually help me be able to take the leap over the triggers to “I’m not actually hungry and I’ll still be tired even if I eat this so I won’t.”

AT and Coda – where do you two find the great quotes right when I need them? I copy and save on my affirmation notes page – thanks!

SongBird – thoughts to you and you family this week, prepare both your ears and your emotions for the 21 gun salute!

LindaSue – interesting US News report, it pretty much followed conventional wisdom with the Fast Diet low on the list they surveyed. What do you make of it? I was reminded to increase my green leafy vegetables every day! πŸƒ

    [post removed]

    Day 9 / UK / NFD

I may have gotten a little cocky today. People kept raving about my newly slimmed down midsection, I may have had a cookie or two to celebrate, although this was a designated FD. Whatever. I’m loving this.

Yoga this evening also felt incredibly good. My three-legged dog had never gotten its fourth leg this high up into the air. I am now going to the gym every weekday after work if nothing else comes up–which it had last Thurs and Fri, giving me effectively four rest days in a row. I do not appreciate enough what rest days do, not only for recovery but also for development. Life’s okay this evening even though I did choke up over sad memories of boyfriends past at the end of the practice. It still happens. It probably still will for sometime along the line.

    “Cause I’m taking it
Step by step, bit by bit,
Stone by stone (yeah), brick by brick (oh, yeah)
Step by step, day by day, mile by mile (ooh, ooh, ooh)”

    Ahhh, Whitney!

I hope you’ve all started well into the new week!

Day 8 Florida USA FD Coming to the end of a successful FD. The key for me is advance planning and pre-recording my calorie intake. Dinner tonight was spiralized sweet potatoes with tomato sauce and 1 meatball. It was very satisfying (with 1 tsp grated Parmesan). I had my usual Monday 90 minute yoga class. I wish everyone well as we continue this journey together.

    Day 8 | FD | UK

@pissupoosa apologies for not checking since the beginning of the month… I’ve written them off and starting over!

This has been the 1st FD in several weeks, I had to get my mindset right and I’ve successfully achieved this today πŸ™‚

    Day 8 | Alaska | FD

I started the 5:2 plan last Monday after a indulgent weekend. My starting weight was 152.6 pounds. before that my weight was right around 150-ish. After my first fast I lost 3.6 pounds but then after a day of eating normal had bounce back of 1.6 pounds putting me right at 150.6, which is probably my true starting weight, if that makes sense.

My next fast was on Thursday and I lost 1.4 pounds but instead of eating normal on Friday, I had a run-in with Cinco de Mayo and let’s just say I got down to the get down with the chips and cheese dip, the next day the gain was right around 3 pounds. So I did a 36 hour water fast from 9pm Fri – 9am Sun and lost 2.6 pounds, I ate normal yesterday and fully expected some bounce back today, but to my surprise I was the same weight as yesterday 147.8 – no bounce back! Yay! So I’ve lost a total of of 4.8 pounds but if I’m totally honest, my real starting weight was right around 150, so I’ve really lost about 2 pounds. I’m thrilled, just the motivation I needed to get me through this fast day.

Instead of spreading out my 500 calories, I’m waiting to eat them all at once with dinner. Only have 3 hours left until dinner then off to my boot camp exercise class.

@debster – congrats on your loss
@lumat – a teething baby would drive anyone to binge. Hugs.
@lilymartin – You crack me up. I hope you made it through your fast without resulting to tripe or getting a migraine. I life in what we call the “banana belt” of Alaska, so it doesn’t get as bitter as some of the more northernest regions. Today it’s 55 degrees and sunny.
@metatauta – No thanks, I don’t ever wanna see those 2.6 pounds again unless it’s as a loss! Retirement sounds awful – can’t wait to try it. πŸ™‚ Only 25 more years to go.
@edzeko – interesting concept. Fat adapted? I am in my 2nd week of fasting and it still feels unbearable at times. I’m glad to hear that with time I will adapt and it won’t be so bad. While in fast I’m like “wow, this is painful” but when finished I’m like “that wasn’t so bad, totally doable”
@allie123 – Wow, 4 pounds! Congrats on your loss!
@tillysmum – Maybe it’s the American in me but anything that has blood or meat in it has no business being called pudding! lol – thanks for the info πŸ™‚
@keetseel – Half a pound? That’s all? I think you did well! Glad you didn’t detox with weed killer! I just love breakfast too much to skip – it’s my favorite meal of the day, I’m also rather fond of lunch and dinner :0)
@skinnylove – Isn’t great to feel good in your skin, to where you felt like you could have a cookie. Love me some yoga too!

Good luck to everyone whether it be a fast or being control – you can do it!

Day 9. NFD Country West Australia. 71.4 kgs
Very good FD yesterday though I nearly succumbed to tripe and white pudding at 10 pm when I got home from choir!!
    There’s a song from a children’s show ‘ Play School’ which goes
    I’m so Hungry
    I’m hungry
    I’m very. very hungry
    I’m HUNGRY!!!!!!!
and that was playing fairly constantly in my head for a few hours yesterday between 5 -7 pm but then I had to go to choir practice, no time for dinner and when we’d finished it was late. Went to bed after a coffee instead.
Feeling extremely virtuous and smug this morning BUT now comes the hard day – to keep a controlled NFD instead of thinking ‘ I can treat myself’. No No NO!!!!!
@cleo120, you’ve taken the first step so good luck for today. Will think of you during the day.
@keelseel, I too had a laugh. I have a very vivid imagination and was wondering what a weedy small intestine looked like!! and you drinking the weedkiller to ‘ cleanse your colon’! Imagined it something like the ocean with seaweed waving about but on a smaller scale. Made me laugh out loud.
@tilly‘smum, thanks for the definition. Sounds like white pudding might be preferable to black pudding. My dad used to love all those sorts of foods.
@lola907, with you I like ALL meals especially breakfast ….. and snacks…. and drinks … and cooking…. I’m on this WOL because I never met a calorie I didn’t like!! and welcome them all without prejudice ( well, maybe the black pudding…)
@paul Marsh , I’ve been thinking I might need glasses for a while but haven’t done anything about it. I first read your post as you had a ‘ wife fast’. Was wondering what on earth a ‘ wife fast was’ as it sounded quite intriguing. Looked a bit closer and saw it was in fact a w/e fast. Will get eyes checked sooner rather than later!!
Be mindful today people – the fat fairy is lurking !

    Day 9 – Perth, W.Aust – FD
    Day 8 – NFD
    Day 7 – NFD
    Day 6 – NFD

Oops, looks like I’e been busy enjoying life again and have forgotten to post for a few days. Still here and still focussed.

MAY we all be strong, resilient, resourceful and aMAYzing.

    Day 9 | Sydney Australia | FD

    Starting Weight:
    99.7kg

    Today’s Weight:
    99.5kg

    Loss 0.2kg

So I lost 0.2kg. I am happy enough with this at least it went down I say!. There were a lot of social events this weekend and I went well over my TDEE on Saturday & Sunday.

Today I’m trying 16:8 as well, trying to resist the need to have a coffee in the morning.

Does anyone else do this? I’ve heard people have quite a lot of success with it.

Regarding the US News link ranking diets (and the low ranking of the 5:2 Fast diet), I think it misses the whole point of “on non fast days you can eat normally”. On those 5 days we have the opportunity to follow DASH, mediterranean, MIND,or any other healthy eating plan to improve the outcomes of the 5:2 WOL.

On reading the descriptions on the three top ranked diets, I discovered that dh and I have been, unknowingly, incorporating the MIND eating plan into our successful 5:2 WOL since the end of January. Others have reported following LCHF and ketogenic eating plans in conjunction with 5:2.

At times I do wonder if people visiting this site for the first time would think that 5:2 Fast is only about weight loss, and its perceived health benefits as a WOL get a little overshadowed.

Day 8 FD St. Louis USA

    Still day 8 –

@Deliska – If you’re asking if some of us do 16:8, yes indeed. I have my coffee with a little cream in the morning but no solids often until noon or so. A shorter eating window works well for quite a few of us.

    Day 9
    West Midlands UK
    FD

    Day 9 NFD/Melbourne Australia

Miss Piggy and the carb Dragon have had a wonderful time partying at my expense. Up 2.1kg since April. Drat I really lost my way. Truth is I lost interest in preparing food. (Thanks mousey! And yes they are still here. Will have to call in the professionals.) Sometimes life gets in the way. Whilst it sucks I can’t really blame anything or anyone but me. The next few days will be interesting. They’ll prove just how successful embracing this WOL has been. I don’t feel as if I’ve fallen off the wagon, just taken my eye off my goal. Planning to fast tomorrow.

I tried catching up on 9 days of posts. Phew you’ve been a busy lot! I’m afraid I’ll just have to admit defeat.

Ha ha I’m now a member of the 3 Pocketeers – fasters, winos and beer lovers. @bert I’d be delighted to accept you as an honorary member of the wino Pocketeers.

    For accountability:

September 2014 – 74.3kg (starting weight, BMI over 29 – goal to reboot health.)
    April 2015 – 59kg (goal)
July 2015 – 54.5kg ( lowest weight, not quite sustainable)
    March 2016 – 56kg (happy weight)
    January 2017 – 58.7kg (whoops)
Feb 2017 – 57.2kg (reboot – onwards and downwards). Joined the February challenge.
    March 2017 – 56.6 kg
    April 2017 – 55.6 kg
    May 2017 – 56.2 kg
    May 9th – 57.8kg – gained 2.1kg
Positives: I weigh less than January and I’m still below my goal weight.

    Day 9 Newcastle UK FD.
After yesterday’s fast the scales said 13st.13lbs early days but very nice to see that landmark 😁
Check up on everyone’s post later.
New phone day all fingers and thumbs with it. Keep at it people.

    2nd post.
You West Aussies have been busy. @perthgirl could you share the link please? Great post by the way. I couldn’t agree more. @lilymartin thanks! I can’t get the song out of my head. I think I ate it all – brown bread, sausages and savs! Not savs perhaps, much prefer black or white pudding.

    Day 9 Brunei NFD
I’m pinning everything on a successful fast day tomorrow, as yesterday I was only about 200 under my TDEE and today I’ll probably hit my TDEE. SO i need tomorrow to go really well and Thursday to be as close to a second fast day as possible too.
I will weigh in on Thursday am and update on here, also I’ll check my measurements.
I’ve got colleagues from all over Asia and it’s really interesting talking about IF with them. For some of them, IF is very normal and something that they have done “naturally” all their adult lives. My South Korean colleague was just telling me that she always has porridge as her last meal before a fast and her first meal after the fast because it doesn’t weigh down or re-expand the stomach after it has shrunk during a fast. She says that if you fast for one day, the day after should be marked by small and healthy portions and if you fast for 2 days then the next 2 days etc… I think it’s what we all know and practice on here but it’s interesting hearing about approaches to IF from around the world.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to my strict fast day tomorrow! Have a good one everyone!

    Day 9 UK FD

Yesterday turned into a fast day after all, so a bit of compensation for the bad weekend, but weight has still bounced up to 188.8 lbs, not too surprisingly. I am fasting again today so hopefully that will go away again, although it may take a few more days. Still I know it will go, I have confidence in the process now. And I should after all this time. Six whole months I have been doing this now! I am so pleased I started. I feel so much better in so many ways. The sixty odd pounds gone is actually the least of it, just a bonus. These challenges have helped so much, thank you everyone who has been so supportive. Together we are stronger. I will hopefully get caught up with the posts again soon.

I so glad I started the 5:2 this is this my second month in and yesterday was a FD I didn’t feel I lost but the scales tell me this morning -0.6kg so happy, good weighing to all today.

@annemarilyn do you do 16:8 every day? or just on FDs?

    Day 9 Belfast NFD
I picked up a pair of trousers In a sale yesterday…. a UK size 12! The first time in a long while – maybe 25 years -I’ve got in that size. No bulges either! High five to that!
@songbirdme May you find peace in your sad family time.
@ Tillysmum the biggest win we can all have is good health. Well done for that! P.S. Black and white pudding are heartburn on a plate!
@welcome @ dunk. This forum is an amazing place to be!
@dellska I do 16:8 every day, whether FDs or NFDs. I grew up being told breakfast was the most important meal of the day so it took a lot to encourage me to skip my morning porridge. However, I travelled last year for 9 weeks with no scales, no FD’s using that routine and only put on 1lb. I know many others on this forum use it too.
Onahealthyhigh will you add me to the pocket winos? Picked sis up from the airport and haven’t stopped laughing since. FD turned into a NFD when we cracked open a bottle of wine! Oops!

    TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER!

    Day 9, UK, FD
5th FD of the month. Good luck everybody!

Day 9 | London (last day of holiday in Tuscany) NFD

Looking forward to a FD tomorrow, nerver did I expect that! Will update when I’m home this evening, or if it’s too late tomorrow.

    Day 9 UK NFD 🌈

Visitors going today, tomorrow back to normality and maybe an FD. I need it! Have a good day all.

@lilymartin – loved your post on day 5/6 you put into words exactly the way I feel.
@backtothefuture – love the books on the scale idea, gonna do that as a visual of how much I need to lose and watch it reduce
@bigviking – well done on your journey so far

    Day 9 Portugal NFD

Should be a FD today but unexpected lunch today. Will fast tomorrow and Thursday too to try and not mess up ADF schedule too much. Just completed 30 min low impact exercise routine. Feels good. Also trying to get a walk in most days. I have 3 kg to lose to reach goal and would love to get there by end of June.

    Have a good day!
