  • Hi everyone

Hoping that this time I will be able to shift the extra weight! All my added weight seems to be around my waist, which I know is not good in terms of health despite my BMI being in the healthy sector. Anyone else out there with a similar problem?

I am still carrying it round the tummy but there is 6kg less of it since I started this in January 2015. I have started cardio and strength training also to help tone the muscles under the flab! Am feeling fitter, looking thinner and need to buy new trousers! Best of luck.

Hello! After 3 weeks I can definitely say that my waist is starting to come back – I put a lot on my belly too (some people thought I was pregnant!) and have lost 10lb, so hopefully you’ll find it a success! 🙂

    Hi Cath and Mavis

Thanks for replying. I think if I try to do some toning up in that area it will help. After having my first child I was told that I had a seperation of the muscle wall and I took time out to do exercises to help close the gap, but after my second child I think I just let thing slide a bit. With the extra weight mainly being in that area my waist size is definitely in the unhealthy bracket and have just found out that my blood pressure is just under the high reading when previously it always been normal.

My first day didn’t go to well as I felt I was going to get a Migraine and ended up having something to eat at lunchtime – feeling a bit of a failure but am determined to try again.

Thank you both for you support its encouraging to hear from those that are seeing the rewards from following through on the diet. (seems to be a lot of chocolate around at the moment – one of my downfalls)

    Hi!

Don’t give up – I say this after having consumed an awful lot of dark chocolate (because it’s healthy…hmm…) tonight on my non-fast day, but the beauty of this diet is that if one day doesn’t work out, the next one can! I felt dizzy on my first fast day, and have had odd things happen here and there, but by and large I’ve got through the fast days okay – in fact it’s being sensible on the other days I have sometimes struggled with! Good luck 🙂

    Hi Mavis

Am just completing my second day – I didn’t give up . Know what you mean about the non-fast days though, its tempting to tuck in to something yummy! Especially when the rest of the family are all eating as normal. Hope your diet is still going well!
