  • Day 6, Mexico City, FD

Yesterday was a bit of a binge day, really. I was having a hard time emotionally so I ended up going to the fridge for some delicious numbing throughout the day. I decided it would be a good idea to do a FD today, get a clearer mind, deal with the issues that where bugging me and carry on. It has worked wonders!

Thank you @Strawberriesandcream and @debster251 for your tips and encouragement. I will try and “drown the hunger dragon” tomorrow as someone mentioned, and listen carefully to my body.

Day 6 FD St. Louis USA Finished 2d b2b
Day 7 NFD St. Louis USA
    Way behind on posts.

    Day 7 UK FD (B2B2B) 🌈

Last day of B2B2B today, have found it easy when busy and hard late at night, seem to get the munchies, like last night should have gone to bed but I knew I hadn’t had all my calories (as was just busy)and instead of going yep fine, how good am I, the late night hunger dragon appeared 🐲 so now I have another dragon to fight, remembered this happened before and I was going to lock the kitchen at 7pm, I had forgotten this. So now the reminder note has gone up. Must look at it as a bonus achievement.

Haven’t had time to catch up on all posts should have done that instead of eat last night. Too tired to read but the mouth quite happily still eats 😂😂😂 hope all is ok with everyone. Keep on keeping on.

Off to fight two dragons today 💦🐉water dragon and 🐲Late night eating dragon. I’m going to win👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

    Day 7 Belfast FD/NFD?
Two good fast days under my belt. Can’t make up my mind whether to fast or not today.
@xroz don’t be disheartened. Many people on this forum have lost big numbers in the weight game, but equally, many plod on with smaller losses. 1-2lb per week is a realistic goal, but of course, everyone’s journey is different. I agree with @fasting_me. There are lots of sensible options on holiday. Even try 16:8. That works for me. Stay strong. You can do it!
    @slogan15 well done you!
@anna6. thank you for sharing your journey. You’ve achieved an impressive loss.
@lany36 – did you eat Dr M’s programme on sleep? As a serial poor sleeper, I found it very interesting. I love your idea of a gratitude diary. Might try one myself.
The sun woke me up early this morning. 😃 Hope it stays. Have a lovely day everyone.

    Day 7, Northumberland, UK, NFD

FD yesterday went well, after feeling a bit groggy to start was quite busy at work and in the end almost went for a liquid only fast as after going to the gym at lunchtime I just wasn’t hungry. Decided I did need something at around 7:30pm and had some fruit and Icelandic yoghurt before immediately closing the kitchen again. So 400 calories consumed in total including milk in a cup of tea. After the B2B BSD days this feels like a nice firm post holiday reset, and back to normal now. To be honest, I’m starting to think about maintenance and how that will work best for me, as hopefully the last few pounds to get below 12 stone will be eradicated this month.

Keep on drowning those dragons everyone.

    Day 7 UK NFD

179.6lbs. Yesterday’s fast went well so I feel a bit better. I really hope that I am under 180 for good now. I need a nice controlled day today to consolidate it but I also need to eat enough that tomorrow’s fast goes well without waking the dragon. I think what happened on Sunday was because I tried to fast too much, it was the 5th in a week and so doomed to fail. ADF suits me best but doesn’t fit well with working days as I need to fast when working as I get too uncomfortable and tired working with food in my stomach. Digesting takes lots of energy. I find I can’t do both. And I need to work both weekend days, in fact this week I need to do Friday as well as the volunteers have swapped days. I certainly can’t fast all three. I find back to backs a waste of effort as I lose as much with a NFD in the middle.

    Day 7, Cornwall NFD
I had a shock bathroom scales said I had put on a Kg over night! shock over only the battery needed changing, weather yesterday was warm & sunny but windy today going to be a good day. FD tomorrow hope the scale are kind to me.

    DAY 7 – UK – FD

Not a successful fast yesterday (again!) – but will give it another go today.

Collected bags from Heathrow yesterday….but daughter still missing one bag and 2 children’s car sears which is most inconvenient.

Had a wonderful week in Northern Ireland….weather not great, but didn’t deter our spirits and had some wonderful times. Countryside really green and beautiful. Peeps really friendly and helpful, went to Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Reed Rope Bridge, Ballintoy, Ballycastle, Port Rush, Mount Stewart gardens – all wonderful places. (Family went into Belfast – Museums – whilst we visited Mount Stewart) They had a wonderful time too. All in all a very successful holiday – apart from the start!

    Day 7 Newcastle UK FD.
Possibly back-to-back fasting days see how this one goes first.
I ate far too much yesterday but this seems to happen every now and then and doesn’t affect my weight loss at the end of the month. I don’t want it to become a habit though. Into the third day of rain here in Newcastle I’m fed up with it now need to see the sun again. Keep at it people good luck if anybody is fasting.

    Day 7
    West Midlands UK
    NFD 16.8

    Day 7, Germany, NFD

    Day 7, Newcastle UK, FD

Well yesterday was a bit of a disaster to say the least. My Dad has been in the process of moving house since the beginning of the year (I am handling it all for him). A search on the potential new property showed an old mining bell shaft on the drive. It’s taken forever for the coal board to produce an interpretive report and it’s not good news. As a result, my Dad is moving out of his house next week and has nowhere to move to. We can’t delay his move any longer as the buyers, in their early 80s, have waited long enough and were getting pretty stressed. As a result I spent most of yesterday evening scouring the internet for suitable properties and downed a bottle of Rose and a glass of red wine during the process. This led to eating far too much cheese, nuts and dried prunes – so hate to think just how far over TDEE I was. Not to mention drinking a week’s units in one go. So back on several wagons for me today and joining the Pocket Winos. I’ve been coasting, quite successfully, since returning from holiday in mid May, but I think I may be getting a little complacent and need to get my act back into gear if I’m going to meet my goals this month.

Lovely to see how much generous support is being given – I can’t quite believe we are on the last day of week one already. Thanks to all the regulars – you know who you are 🙂 xxx
@slogan15 – Congratulations on your progress. Do you mean 500 on FD’s? Do you eat to your TDEE on NFDs?
@anna6 – it’s so motivating to hear people’s success stories – thanks for sharing.
@shaninia – I totally agree with your OH – reading all the posts is absolutely part of my daily ritual – I don’t want to miss anything and love to see the great support for each other.
@lany36 – what a sensible and lovely routine for your family and in these troubled days, I think counting our blessings is more important than ever.
@cleo120 – maybe try a different tactic for a few weeks – how about the BSD 800 cals which might make FDs a little more manageable for a while?
@califdreamer – getting into a proper eating routine to suit your daily routine is important. Getting out of the habit of snacking is a great start.

Well, we have yet another soggy grey day and I don’t suppose I’m going to get any gardening done this morning – maybe this afternoon. Tomorrow and Friday don’t look much better. However, I think househunting is going to be top of my agenda and planning where Dad is going to stay in the meantime. And NO MORE WINE!!!

Onwards & downwards – together we are stronger…..

Day 7, Guildford UK holiday Madeira, FD

First of 2 back to back fasting days.

Feeling slightly better alet hough shoulder pain is awful. Return flight today.

Find it easier to fast when travelling means no choices. Much easier.

Yesterday overstepped by 100 cals as I had a large glass of wine not a small one with my salad and grilled sardines (2 small). I have a leafy salad with every meal as it fills me up.

    Good job everyone from yesterday.

    Day 7 – Cumbria UK – NFD
    Weight = 53.7kg/118.4lbs/8st.6.6lbs

Woke up to sunshine after 2 wet and windy days – my B2B FDs went well – stayed well under 500cals yesterday and woke up full of beans this morning and not feeling hungry at all! Enjoying a cup of tea whilst I do a quick catchup on the posts!

Busy day today – I have my regular 90+min Wednesday morning Yoga class, really looking forward to that! I volunteer for the afternoon then have a meeting after that. Just enough time for a quick shower and change then a light supper at home with OH before I meet the girls for the ballet this evening – we are seeing Frederick Ashton’s The Dream / Variations Symphoniques/Marguerite and Armand – Live from The ROH at my local cinema.

Just had enough time for a quick read of the posts this morning
@coda, @songbirdme and @chitown-gal – glad you had a good get together – memories to cherish xx
    @slogan15 – a very happy dance 💃time for losing that 3rd stone!!
@xrox – please don’t get disheartened as others have said – this WOL can be incorporated when on holidays – I do 16:8 eating on my NFD normally and follow this whilst on holidays, sometimes do 20:4 days if planning a big evening meal out – it will actually give you such a good feeling if you can control the situation instead of letting the situation control you – Hugs and Believe in yourself!
@shaninia – addiction to the forum is good 😇I certainly find that reading the posts keeps me motivated and encourages me on my FDs – I swear it is staying with these challenges that has kept me in maintenance since December 2016! I weigh once a week to ensure that my weight is not doing that slow upward creep without me noticing 😈
@mogaman – safe travels over the next couple of days
@cleo120 – we have got hold of you – stay strong and you will get there – TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER – YOU CAN DO THIS
@lynzm – you stay strong and slay those “two dragons today 💦🐉water dragon and 🐲Late night eating dragon” I’m holding on to you tight today x
@jarbia – the holiday sounded good despite the horrendous start
@Strawberriesandcream – hope today is better and productive in sorting out something for your Dad! All us pocket winos are allowed days of overindulgence – a bit like this WOL – This pocket wino enjoys her 🥂🍷way too much to give it up completely 😃

Feeling strong and positive today – Is this as a result of doing my first B2B in months??? Great feeling! Have a lovely Wednesday wherever you are in this beautiful world of ours 🤗

I think the following quote reflects our 5:2 Way of Life – “Stay committed to your decisions; but stay flexible in your approach.”

    Day 7, UK, NFD

Yesterday’s FD was a 0 kcal success and I am now in the sunny uplands of weightloss again. If I’m right about my body’s weightloss cycle, it’ll last another week and a half, before I hit another plateau week.

This morning’s weight was 89.5kg / 197.1lb / 14st1.1 lb. First time in the 80s for a while and will hopefully be under 14st by next week 😀

    Onwards and downwards!

Day 7, London, UK, FD (2nd of B2B2B)

Great FD yesterday, even better than usual because I had 3 peanut M&Ms (calorie bombs that they are!!)…………………… why is this so great you ask? Well, normally the entire pack would have been demolished with my hand on autopilot from bag to mouth!!!!! This is a breakthrough because just as the dragon reared his head to bellow for MORE!!! I downed 750ml of water and drowned him instantly!!!!! Of course I was up half the night in the loo, but I’ll pay THAT price for a successful FD (1lb down this am too!!)

@shaninia, better to be addicted to this forum than the cheese, wine, chocolate and cake that got me here in the 1st place, sometimes just reading a few post stops me raiding the kitchen!!! I’m a daily weigh-er which keeps me honest, for me a loss is a boost and any gains make me more conscious of exactly what goes into my mouth, luckily I wouldn’t say I’m an emotional eater, I hope you’re pleasantly surprised when you finally succumb to the scales, measurements are an even better indication, when your knickers start falling down…………. You KNOW it’s a good day!!!!. My Yoga class is usually on a FD because I can have a nice filling lunch, then bone broth just before class at 5:30pm then nothing until 2:30 the following day, that 21hr fast is a real reset for me! I enjoy the class better on a FD, maybe because my mind is blank ……..…. No thoughts of food!!

@hotchoc, miso soup, bone broth or pickled gherkins + baby plum tomatoes are my FD life savers, filling low calorie and oh so satisfying!!!

@loubelles, I think your original list got high-jacked, LOL. Not a problem, still keeping those I KNOW were on B2B2Bs (@Loubelles, @lynzm) in my pocket, even though I’m only on day 2, I’ll still hang onto you guys tomorrow just for moral support!!!

@lynzm, you just need to sharpen your sword and be sure you make sloshing noises as you walk!!!!

@strawberriesandcream, I’ve stuck you in my ‘pocket wino’ pocket today and I’ll keep you company (just until Saturday though!!….let’s not go crazy!!!)…….. No MORE WINE INDEED!!!!!!

@at congrats on the B2B, I’m on day 2 of a B2B2B, and I’m not sure whether I need to eat ever again, if fasting makes such a difference to my brain/ mood(LOL!!) …………….. such a good feeling!!!!!!

Keep the faith people…………………NOTHING we’ve ever tried before has been this easy……am I right???

    Day 7 – UK – FD

Hi everyone! I’m a very late joiner here! I’ve been in two minds over joining this month as my first few days of June were at a music festival and the next week I’m away on holiday. However I’ve decided this is exactly why I need the accountability of being part of this, even if I don’t check in too often.

This morning I was 60.9kg so by the end of June, I hope to have either maintained this or as a bonus lost those 0.9kg. But an overall maintain is my main aim!

    Good luck fasters x

Day 7 Akron OH 16:8 day. Weighed in today 152.6 lbs, bmi 23. Below goal weight of 153.I wish everyone a successfully fd or nfd. Don’t beat yourself up if it’s not perfect. Just pick yourself up and keep going. Bonne Chance!

Day 7 country west Australia FD day 2 of b2b

Hadn’t planned on FD today but wasn’t hungry this morning after a really good FD yesterday so since I’m working decided to keep fasting.
    So far so good.
Would love to eat nothing tonight but then DH gets quite concerned and so I will have a little soup or chicken.

@cleo120, @xrox and all others not losing weight – DO NOT GIVE UP !!!!!!!!
I have been on a plateau since FEBRUARY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and am currently 2 kgs above my lowest since starting 5:2 in November 2016.
I’ve tweaked and twitched and eaten and fasted and exercised and not exercised …. you name it I’ve done it and STILL the scales are harbouring the Fat Fairy and her family.
BUT …. I know that my body is feeling better.
I KNOW that my gut biome will be quietly thanking me and the fasting is helping with so many other positive effects for the body that I have taken the focus off weight loss and trying to just be content on the plateau whilst all those around me are on the scenic route of weight loss!
It’s a pretty good view from the top of the mountain!!
It can be a bit disheartening to read of other people’s weight loss when I have been disciplined etc but we are all different so I am just waiting and fasting. Good things come to those who wait … and persevere.
The other interesting thing I noted is that I lose weight the more I sleep!
Woke this morning at 4am, ( dogs barking) got up and weighed. Back to bed, another 2 hours sleep, got up at 6am and weighed … .2 kg lighter in 2 hours!!
    The vagaries of the body.
@coda et al. So happy to hear that you caught up with each other. Lovely memories.
Go well all and stay the path. The more despondent you get the more you will feel like giving up.
Remember, ..’life is 10 % inspiration and 90 % perspiration’
    as in remaining disciplined.
    🙃

    Day 7, Germany, FD
    Day 6, NFD
    Day 5, NF
    Day 4, NFD
    Day 3, NFD
    Day 2, NFD
    Day 1, NFD

I am not sure when was the last day that I updated my fasting info, as a result I wrote all from the first day. After some holidays now I am back with a new B2B2B. Today is the first day.
I am really sorry and sad for the recent catastophes in London and now in Tehran. Hope the world goes towards a peace.

    Day 7…..Florida…..FD

So yesterday, turned into a NFD as I had a gift certificate for a local restaurant and they had a promotion of buy any meal get a gift certificate for another meal at a later date. So, I took my brats to dinner and ice cream afterwards.
We very seldom eat out, maybe 3 or 4 times a year, so it was a nice treat and a hard to pass up deal.
But would you know it, I step on the scales you know just for shits and giggles and I’m down not by much but I’m going to take that as a win.

My official new weigh in date is tomorrow so, I’ll see what it’s going to give me. Anything is better than the 143, I started with on the 1st.

Well, my morning is moving fast, so I’m off!

Surely, NOT everyone was Kung-Fu fighting!?!

    Day 7, Belfast, NFD

Had a couple of glasses of red vino last night…bit of indulgence as I watched Legend with the hubbie. Story of the notorious Krays, it was pretty good. I was laughing though, my friend has two-year old twin girls who keep beating on each other. She calls them The Krays lol.

But, I had sweet potato fries instead of chips with a chicken and avocado fajita. So healthy enough 😉

Back to FD tomorrow. Good luck everyone today.

I am late joining this challenge only discovering this website today. This challenge and your daily blog is very useful thank you! It brings me back to reality rather than have me stuck in my head all day alone thinking about how I can get through this! So hello @strawberriesandcream and a huge thank you! I look forward to writing in everyday!

    Day 7, Germany, NFD

@onahealthyhigh hope you enjoyed your 41st wedding anniversary, you’re 10 years ahead of me

    @at enjoy the ballet tonight

    Day 7 – USA (Illinois) – NFD

Still basking in the glow of the marvelous day yesterday with @coda, her OH (AKA Irish Gigolo, or Male Escort) and @chitown-gal. Can’t begin to tell you all how much fun it was spending most of the day with them. We were Pocket Winos at dinner sharing a nice bottle of Argentine Malbec. Just a terrific time!

This WOL is terrific. I continue to stay under goal, 157.8 this morning. Graduation party this evening, and I might just have to eat a piece of cake there.

    Onward and downward!

Day 7, Rocky Mountains, US, BSD 800 cals

    Hi all,

So I am back doing BSD. Like I mentioned before, I like it best, it worked very well in April. Also I can really stick with it eating LCHF Mediterranean and doing it every day, Sat and Sun are CDs.

For all the travelers I recommend 16:8. It worked for me recently when I traveled in Europe for 6 weeks. NO weight gain! And I ate everything and had lots of beer. 😊😊😊

All the best to all my fellow fasters! 🌻🌻🌻
Beware of the hunger dragon! 🐉

    Day 7 USA-WA FD
@lilymartin Thanks for your post sharing your thoughts about hanging in through plateaus. I’m definitely there right now. While I think it is a good place for my body to be (I just went through some pretty intense health challenges), I also needed your words of wisdom today!

Going ok so far. Successful FD on Monday, and was planning another today but had date in the diary for dinner with friends so it’ll have to wait until tomorrow. Changes so far – increased my fitness work, being more mindful and making sensible food choices when I’m out and about (I really don’t need either a starter or a pudding when I go out for dinner!!) so my daily calorie intake has come down and I’m feeling much less bloated and the scales confirm a bit of weight loss already.

But I do need to up my water intake – not just on fast days either.

Well done to everyone – and good luck, we’re a week in already!
    Dx

    Day 7 – FIN – FD

A few hours ago I was on the verge of skipping fasting (a fit of hunger and fatigue being the biggest culprits) today, but then I had a few cups of tea and now I feel like it’s going well again. It’s almost 4 pm, which means I’m going to break my fast shortly (I aim for at least 16 hours of fasting before breaking my fast on fast days).

I had to skip running yesterday as well, as I ended up helping move some furniture and it took longer than expected. The next run will thus possibly take place tomorrow (and this week’s run will be on Sat). Today there’s an outdoor Les Mills Sh’Bam (dance fitness) class on the schedule. I’ve planned my eating around it – a healthy snack now, a banana immediately after class and a protein bar a few hours later to maximize the benefits from the exercise.

@strawberriesandcream Thank you for the encouragement and for keeping up with all of us. You might have noticed that those on our spreadsheet that have logged in since the beginning of June now have their names linked to their profiles on this site. I’m guilty for that. I hope it’s not causing any issues. I noticed some members weren’t on the list (can’t remember who anymore as I added some afterwards, but I might have missed someone as well), and there were also a few that I couldn’t find a profile for (Green5 and RWJ, implying those users don’t exist).

    Day 7 – UK – FD (3rd day in a row)

Well this is my first time to do a B2B2B and I am finding the 3rd day quite hard, I think it was because I was well under my 500 hundred calories on day 1 and 2. Yoga was cancelled this morning and instead my friends and I did a 13km fast walk, I was absolutely exhausted. I probably was dehydrated as well. I am making sure I eat all my calories today as I did feel quite weak. I am reading a lot on line about fasting and it is very interesting and as long as we keep hydrated it should be ok. I think I will stick to 2 days maximum together if needed in the future.

I am rushing to despatch as much weight as possible before my daughter’s graduation mid July and I know that rushing it too much may cause me to give up but I still am very motivated. I listen to podcasts while driving in the car to keep my motivation up. Does anyone else do this? The one I keep going back to is Primal Potential. The lady seems to really understand the way our minds work and I find some of her podcasts very helpful. She is on iTunes and Spotify or you can listen to them from her website of the same name.

@shininia I too am quite addicted to this forum and I look forward to reading the posts.

So glad to read the meet up in the windy city went well, it’s a lovely story to tell. Glad you had the Irish Gigalo to escort you. He knows how to treat a lady as we know from Coda’s birthday treats.

    Day 7– Colorado USA- NFD

Already had eggs & Greek yogurt for breakfast again. Not used to eating breakfast daily, but currently need to in order to take some meds. (Sucking it up for now. This won’t be forever.)

Personally, I find it SO much easier to just put off ALL foods till later in day. That way I can extend my Fasting window & save my calories for better stuff at dinner. Now I’m poking the hunger-dragon awake in his cave first thing each morning…. Sure increases the challenge level of sticking below TDEE.

I’m going to take a cue from @flourbaby & drink water/ tea/ plain black decaf till I “slosh around while walking!” Made me LOL.

Day 7, USA, Missouri Ozarks, FD

Hello all, still maintaining below goal weight.

Hubby suggested we go to Subway after work last night so that was good – I was able to eat a VeggieDelite with vinegar and oil dressing. Ate half the footlong there and half a bit later. He said do you want a cookie, a soda, chips? I said, No, No, No… But thanks, thanks, thanks. He just laughed and said he didn’t need them either – water for both of us.

Coda, SongBirdMe and ChiTownGal so happy to read about your get-together. What fun !

OneHealthyHigh – Congrats on your Anniversary, wishing you many, many more.

    Have a great day/night all.

    Day 7 Lancaster, US FD
So I’ve decided to try this until Friday evening… Staying in fat burning mode, to stay in Ketosis, I need to stay under @20 to 25 grams of carbs in 24 hours. I am water fasting but will have 1 cup of home made vegetable, Steak and bone broth for dinner. On the Lose it app it shows 1 cup : is -21 grams of carbs. 134 Calories. That includes the 8 grams of carbs extra for snap peas the whole pods. I was going to add split peas but decided not to because that would add 17 more grams of carbs.😜 I’m learning…
1 stalk of Celery only has 1 cal and .1gram of carbs… When in doubt, eat celery.😊
Enough of the calorie counting…blah 😂 I’m not planning to weigh myself until the end of June😜
@coda @songbirdme @chitowngal, I’m so glad you all got to meet in person, nice memories. Also @back2thefuture in Seattle! It sounds like great fun!✨
    @lou-belles I didn’t notice anything wrong…Thanks for posting.✨Wishing you a great FD today!✨

Time for me to get back at it for my day. I will be able to read more later.😊✨
✨Thanks to each member of our wonderful International Group.✨
    Have a great day All!✨
    ✨Together we are Stronger!✨✨🤝✨✨

@okeydokey – I remember once being told that eating raw celery uses more calories than it provides, don’t know how true that can be or it would be the ultimate diet food…. though doubt many people can eat a lot of celery.

    Day 7, NFD, 4th post.

    Hi All,

I’ve loved reading several pages and want to read them all but just can’t right now. It’s time I wrote something before crashing (i.e. ‘going to bed very tired’ for the non-Ozzie-speaking language-lovers!). Well, um, I haven’t been doing too well 5:2-wise, and I wonder if I should even still be on this thread with all you amazing, super-human it seems, fasters. Should I even be on the spreadsheet?, because I know now that I can’t complete it, after yesterday… I will try to execute my planned FDs for the rest of June although I can’t promise anything – there’s my problem… Actually I had a lot of resolve and confidence and optimism about this challenge. It wasn’t enough though, it didn’t last. I did 5 semi-fasts over about 5 weeks before June, so I know I can do it. All I am asking of myself at this beginning stage is to remain under 800cals on FDs. I get scared of eating so little. It’s all in the mind, I know. And the more often I fast (I know, ‘semi-fast’ really, but I call it fasting for short, and it is fasting for about half a day usually), the easier it will probably be. Establishing the habit is for me the hardest part. I so want this WOL though. It makes so much sense. And I have experienced the benefits already just from the little foray I’ve made into it. Even though it seems like they have all now been reversed. ‘Nothing is a waste of time if you learn from it’ almost said Rodin.

My eating behaviour and relationship with my body is something I’ve found a problem, on and off, since I was a teenager. I’m hoping 5:2 can help me. I also love the ideas in the book ‘If Not Dieting, Then What?’ (if anyone knows it) and it’s proving a little tricky trying to meld the two approaches. I think it can be done though.

I went for a beautiful hour-long bushwalk this afternoon to remind my body that I do love it after all, as it loves me. Tomorrow’s another day, and it’s a FD. Thank-you all for sharing your tips and everything – I appreciate them. Now I gotta crash.

@strawberriesandcream I hope your Real Estate hunting and your Real Estate transactions all work out for the best for your father. Hugs and warm Wishes on your Real Estate search. Be gentle with yourself… wine is a stress reducer … so many things we don’t fully know about weight loss, plateaus, and swooshing… Let’s think positive😊 Maybe you’ll have a swoosh 🤞 ✨✨🤜🏻✨🤛🏻✨✨ Either way, if you keep on, keeping on… Things can get better!😊
Wishing you well for your Real Estate Success as well as your NFD success!✨
✨Most times we are stronger than we think.

Day 7 – SW WA USA – FD

Off to department meetings at the district for the day. Will still go for a FD; perhaps up to 800 if necessary. I’m so glad yesterday was a fairly controlled NFD.

Will catch up on posts later.

Have a wonderful, strong day FDers & NFDers!

    Day 7 chicago – nfd

    Day 7 Oregon USA NFD
Today my goal is to maintain control of my eating and stay close to 800 calories.

@yolina – I love your idea of listening to podcasts for motivation. I do a lot of crazy eating when I’m on the road, so next road trip I will listen to podcasts to keep myself motivated.

    2nd post

    Good things about today:
    – Found another property to view on Saturday for Dad. It’s just around the corner and empty. It looks promising.
    – No wine.

Not so good things about today:
    – FD didn’t happen. Not even close….
    – 2 pints of bitter (medicinal for hangover but really enjoyed them so not too bad..)

Tomorrow is another day; a clean sheet; a fresh start; a stomp on the reset button; back on the wagon; the fast train; the motorway – anything to redeem myself after yesterday and today. Actually – I’m really not beating myself up. I’ve had a perfectly normal and less frequent than I used to have, blip.

@endellion – welcome to June – good to ‘see’ you back.
@nilufar – welcome and if you haven’t read my first post way back on page 1, it may help to explain how we work this thread.
I’ve added both your names to the spreadsheet should you wish to track your progress.

@redrockgirl302 – I may well be joining you on BSD 800 cal for the whole of next week. I remember that experiment worked well for me too in April.
    @dellanic – great progress!
@chumi -yes, I did notice that various names had lines underneath and wondered how that had happened. I’m in and out frequently adding new names and wondered if I had done something strange. Thanks for explaining and adding any more names I have inadvertently missed. Much appreciated.
@yolina – The second I log out I’m looking for Primal Potential – need some new inspiration right now 🙂

BTW – as my Dad has shelled out for a survey and other costs on the property purchase that has now fallen through – he is now ‘out of pocket’ – for those who are following that particular conversation. Thanks for your best wishes @okeydokey – fingers crossed for Saturday.

Day 2 thru 5 lancaster pa NFD
    DAY 6 FD
    Day 7 NFD

Day 7 Post 1 NFD Huntingdon UK…. steady as we go !

    Day 6 London, UK. NFD
Yesterday went downhill but still managed to stay under TDEE….although am sure a bottle of prosecco and four fun size mars bars aren’t exactly balanced eating! But hey it was my last day at work so a one off and an enjoyable one !

    Day 7, NFD
Feeling a little rough helped as I wasn’t feeling too hungry! Got tempted by a baguette from Wenzels and gave in…500 cal gone just like that but have a healthy salad of greens for the evening and a cheeky bit of steamed salmon….defo need my fast day which I usually do on Wednesdays but am switching to tomorrow instead 🙂

Happy Wednesday everyone, sending positive vibes to you all…love being part of this group

    Day 7 – USA – FD

Day 7, UK Guildford (home today) FD, 1 of B2B

    @at thank you
@awilson, surgery? Ooooooh, glad the pain went away, tell me more about the op. Why did you need the surgery? Did you have MRI?

I sat on the plane and my stomach has rumbled for 5 hours like a washing machine. The man next to me said it was very irritating and annoying. It wont stop, it’s growling. At least I am home and no one but me can hear it.

Anyone else have this on FD? (Or any other time!)

@strawberriesandcream very frustrating. We had a vendor take a house off the market after we’d had a full structural survey done, didn;t even give us a chance to ask questions or review the results.

    Day 7 – Portland, Oregon – FD!

Going well so far! Only 12:30 in the afternoon around these parts. 🙂 Had a nice tea with a splash of milk this morning and now having half a bowl of split pea for my lunch allotment. Some white fish and veggies for dinner and things should be golden!

I think the hardest part for me is I am usually in charge of making dinner for myself and my husband. I find it hard to come up with something that will be enough for him and yet still be in my calorie allotment for the day…anyone have that experience?

    Day 7 USA NFD
Almost to goal. 2 more lbs. Thanks to all of you for the support! I may not reply to everyone separately, but I can assure you that I read your posts and am inspired by all. I don’t know who put this quote on the thread but I really like it, “If it won’t help you reach your goal, don’t do it.” I say it to myself often, especially when I am about to reach for a slice of bread or a second helping of something that is not healthy. It is very motivating in all aspects of life!

    Day 7 UK
Think this ended up as a controlled 800 FD. Was out for lunch but found I was full after eating very little so called it a day at that! Will go for B2B again tomorrow and Friday as working and easier to do.

Day 7 – FD – West Yorkshire UK
    Day 6 – NFD

Successful FD today felt a bit under the weather and didn’t have much of an appetite. 1st time for a while that I’ve also felt cold on FD my feet are freezing.

    Keep going every one
