  • Day 4 Scotland NFD

Happy 4th July to our friends from the States! Yesterday fast went well, and I’m trying to wait until lunch time to break it, even if I feel very hungry (sipping my second cup of coffee at the moment, I can wait less than 2 hours).

I’ll update the spreadsheet now while baby is asleep!

    Have a good day everybody

Day 4, Hampshire, UK – NFD

Successful FD yesterday although I have put on a little due to a weekend of indulging, I think I have to be very good on my NFD days this week if I want the scales to go down.

@coda thanks for sharing the spreadsheet, I have filled it in – I never knew how to do this before so its a first 🙂

would love a loss this week as I haven’t seen one for a while but lets see….

    Day 4, Belfast, FD

Happy 4th July to all our American buddies!!

Doing a FD today and then Thursday. I’ve developed a bad habit of having a couple of beers/glasses of wine on Thursday evenings thinking ‘it’s almost the weekend’. Need to kick that to the kerb. So make it a FD lol!

I had a bit of time this morning so have compiled a DAY 4 pocket list – soory if I’ve missed anyone.

    *****DAY 4 – POCKETEERS!!*****
***TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER IN OUR GLOBAL CHALLENGE!!***
If you’re fasting today just copy and paste the list then add your name.

@coda – speadsheet works a treat. Thanks so much for hosting July’s challenge.

This is only my fourth month joining the challenges, but already (from April: day 1) the encouragement offered from everyone has been amazing 🙂

    Day 4 – UK – NFD

    Happy 4th July everyone!

    Day 4 – UK – FD

Thank you Belfast sink for compiling the list so far, I will add myself, have a great day everyone🤗

    Day 4, Wales UK, NFD

    Good FD yesterday.
Like @elkster I’m beginning the 5:2 WOL with baby steps and initially aiming to be below 800 Cals on FDs, yesterday had 705 – felt hungry by bedtime but not unbearable.

    Day 4, London, UK, FD.

It’s a gloriously sunny summers day in London, shame I’m at work otherwise I would be glued to the telly watching Wimbledon, although fasting at work is soooo easy that it’s probably for the best that I AM at work!!!!

Happy 4th of July to my numerous anonymous friends across the ‘pond’!!!!!

@krisnia, the 30 Day Shred is a HIIT workout by Jillian Michaels with 3 levels of 20mins each, you’re supposed to do 10days at each level. It’s the best and only DVD I’ve ever stuck to, anyone can find 20 mins/ day and it is a killer!!!! After a few days where you think you’re actually IN hell, you find your stamina and muscle tone much improved, I love it!!!…………. and hate it!!!! …..but mostly love it!!!!

@clairebear12, keep going it really does get easier…………………. ‘Stick with Anita’!!!!!!!

@brightonbelle…….. My jumping lunges are a thing to behold, not a good thing, just a ‘thing’ for which Jillian would slap me senseless!!!! My torn ACL means BIG adjustments to some moves, but still sweating buckets and the toning up starts pretty quickly!!!! I still can’t believe I was doing it 30+lbs heavier!!!! At least this time, ascending/descending stairs post workout, doesn’t feel like scaling Everest!!!!!

@liathanail, If someone sat opposite me eating nachos, whilst I was on a FD…………………. their very life would have been in danger!!! Way to go with the willpower!!!!

The fat fairy paid me a visit last night……………. OR ……………………….. could it be the muscle fairy?? (Picturing Jillian Michaels in tutu & fairy wings)!!! – DO NOT TELL HER!!! I usually have to borrow the ‘low’ weight 2 or 3 times before it sticks, so not stressing over the bouncy-bouncy scales, hoping for a whoosh after todays’ FD, especially as I’m up to 2L of water already, at 11:30 a.m.

Onward & Downward people!!!!! WE HAVE got this!!!!!!!!

    Day 4, NFD, France

Happy 4th July to our US friends! Having a calm, mindful day, feeling good after yesterday’s FD. Do you find you’re less obsessed by food? Or maybe I was the only one to be obsessed by it before. I used to spend my time thinking about what I was going to cook later. Don’t any more. And don’t even think about pizza which is really bizarre.

    May our fat weep 🙂

    Day 4 – USA – NFD

Hello @ Coda and thank you for hosting the July challenge!

I logged on to this site to post my results to my personal tracker as today I hit the -20 lb mark!! I stopped logging into the challenges several months ago and went it alone finding that I had the strength and resolve to keep TWOL going.

This morning however, I read your initial post for the month Coda and realized that perhaps I could be of support for those just beginning and/or needing some encouraging words as you suggested. So here I am!

I want to wish everyone a great month and if I can be of any help with ‘lessons’ learned that I have discovered over the past 6 months please reach out. It has not all been easy of course, and I have had ups and downs like everyone else. That said, I haven’t looked back since beginning IF and after many months I am very confident that this isn’t a fad or short-term program for me – it is truly my routine and I don’t have to give it a lot of thought anymore!

I am pretty close to my goal weight although at this point I am more interested in getting stronger and firming up as at 133lb I think I am close to my ideal weight. I have lost 20 lbs in the past 6 months – lost more than half of that in the first few months but have consistently lost a minimum of 1-2 lbs per month since having started Jan 1st, 2017.

I’ve learned a lot about IF and low carb/high fat eating and have literally changed the way my body responds to food – specifically, I can eat things I love in moderation (enjoy it a great deal) and don’t see a sudden weight gain like I used to. I am able to rein it in and have a FD to even out the NFD and overall just have loved this WOL and the results I have found.

Thanks again Coda and see you on tomorrow!

    Laddie10

    Day 4……Florida…..NFD

    Good Morning, my friends.
It took a bit of time but between yesterday and today, I had a lot of post to read.

Coda….. glad the spreadsheet is finally playing nice, however I don’t have the computer ability to update mt stats on the tablet I use. If you don’t mind, keeping me going. I would greatly appreciate it. I would try and do it on the family computer, however, it seems as if I can never get on.

Metatauta…… I love video where people sing the wrong words, it’s comical what sentences they come up with.

So, last night the chocolate dragon got a hold of me and would not let go. I seriously thought I had killed him. Before this WOL, I was a sweets grazer…. would graze on the sweet stuff all day. This plateau is killing me!
Then, I noticed something very odd, I extremely bloated this week. Since starting 5:2, womanly hood was tamed, no puffiness, no cravings, etc, them pow! Thought you could rid of us didn’t you come back. Menopause need to hurry up and kick in. I don’t know if I can do this again.
Sorry guys, I know I’m over sharing a bit here.

Today going to be a pretty quiet day around here. The oldest is bring his girl friend around to hang out, the hubby is off too and the youngest is going with his girl to Busch garden nights with his girl.
For those who don’t know, Busch gardens is an amusement park not far from here. During the summer cuz it’s so hot during the day, they open the park at night. It’s mainly for the big kids. Tonight being the holiday, they are open a bit longer and are going to have a fireworks display and other holiday stuff.
He’s excited, he hasn’t been there since, we went to Halloween horror night.

    Back to the real topic…..

I know some of the newbies, experienced there first official FD with all the side effects included.
It does get easier…. Promise you that.
During your first couple fasts, your body is doing the what the hell dance! You have just asked it to do something it has never done before. Think about, before our bodies especially our bellies said jump and we asked it how high. Feed it everything it wanted and more. It’s gonna take a few days for it to realize your brain has taken over. No worries, once it gets the hint, it will start to find other resources to work on…. aka our fat!
Be strong, it takes it a couple fasts to get it. Think of the grumbles as your signal that it’s working.
Make sure to drink plenty of water!
Dry lips and achy legs…. increase your salt!
Can’t sleep……. find a relaxing habit before bed… meditation, hot bath, etc.
    Lastly, chew some gum!
Finally…… we’ve all been there. We understand, the hardest step is always the first one. But like many before you, we are all here to help! Grab a hand and hold on!

    Okay well, I’m off!

At any given moment the urge to sing “the lion sleeps tonight” is just a whim away, a whim away, a whim away!

    Day 4 – USA (Illinois) – NFD

Thanks for the good wishes on our American Independence Day holiday from all of you! Looks like it will be a beautiful weather day here.

Today will be a very CD despite being a NFD. Maintenance is still calorie watching for me. But that’s how you all help me!

@laddie10 – congratulations on your great progress! A pound or two a month is marvelous.

@bert1802 – excellent recommendations for the various ills and woes that may crop up in our WOL. The tummy rumbles do seem to subside as you do more fasts. Also, I rind reading in bed helps with relaxation for better sleep.

    Onward and downward!

    Day 4 Australia
Hi Coda , count me in please! Better late than never!
    Start weight is 91kgs (still).
I have not done a FD in months due to holidays then personal issues but my doctor now has me on the Mediterranean Diet to improve my heart health and cholesterol. Once I get on a steady road with that I will begin the FDs again. At the moment the drop in protein is leaving me very hungry so can’t imagine doing a FD!

Extra post – forgot to mention I am also doing Dry July. I don’t do anything by halves!

Day 4 Massachusetts USA NFD I’m glad I can indulge a bit for the holiday, that means a hamburger! Yesterday was a pretty successful FD- I only went slightly over 500. While my family ate big bowls of pasta and sausage, I read in another room. All the adults have done the 5/2 so they understood. Spreadsheet working is great @coda. I’m not bothering with measurements but will enter my own FD’s and NFD’s and look forward to my end of month weigh-in (not that I want the month to fly by, it’s summertime!)

    Day 4 Chester Uk FD

Happy 4th July for all our American friends. Hope you all have a great celebration.

Yesterday was a fast day mainly because of the blasted toothache. I’ve been to the dentist this morning and tooth filled. As I haven’t had anything to eat yet (didn’t want to before Dr Evil got her hands on my mouth) then I’m going to make today another FD as well.

That’s me done then with the back to back fasting. I’m in awe of anyone that can do it regularly. This past week has taught me I need to put a gap between fasting days or I’m a right grumpy so and so. So from tomorrow back to basics, it works and it’s sustainable.

Off to take the dogs for a walk, must get them steps up.

Day 4, Rocky Mountains, US, NFD

    Happy Independence Day!!!🌼🌻🌹

I am at a new low on the scales, hurrah, 😄 and will fight to keep it there. This will be quite the challenge because of the late dinner invitation to celebrate the 4th. But this WOL works! There is always the great reset button!!!Yeah!!!

Watching Wimbledon🎾and the Tour de France whenever I get a chance! Yeah!

    Have a good Tuesday everyone!!!😊😊😊

    Day 4, London UK, NFD

So I made it through my first fast day! I skipped breakfast and lunch and just had dinner, and I might try splitting my calories between breakfast and dinner on Thursday.

Great thing is today that after enjoying a big breakfast, I’ve hardly thought about food today, which is great. Usually I’d be thinking about where my next snack is coming from.

Feeling really quite positive after yesterday!

Day 2 FD St. Louis USA
Added myself to the pocket list. I think I got the latest and didn’t delete anyone.

    DAY 4 – Cumbria UK – NFD

🇺🇸Happy Fourth of July to our American Friends 🇺🇸

An overcast and damp old day here 🌧☂️

I had an early start with a 2hr drive down the M6 to see a specialist physiotherapist regarding my lingering knee issue (some of you will remember that I did something my left knee just before xmas and it still is causing me pain) Well it was definitely worth the drive – she is an amazing woman with a deft touch – will hopefully be on the road to a full recovery soon and be able to go out for my long hikes on the fells ⛰ ( “fell” refers to the mountains and hills of the Lake District.)

In view of my morning’s activities I’m still fasting from my FD yesterday (had the last 1/2 cup of my homemade raspberry kefir this morning) Yesterday was a very good FD with a total intake of under 300cals! As it’s already mid afternoon I think I will carry on fasting until my evening meal and will enjoy it all the more!!!!

@coda and @Strawberriesandcream – great job with getting the spreadsheet active for us all 💐
@helenalee – good to see you back on a challenge (you were with us in May?) YOU CAN DO THIS – I found staying on the monthly challenges and logging on daily and reading the posts has kept me motivated and in maintenance since reaching my goal weight in early Dec 2016.
@ziggyb1 – It does get easier – STICK WITH IT – You’ll be amazed at how you adapt and your statement “Can’t believe how much my life revolves around food” resonates with a lot of us on this thread
@la-dolcevita and @nan77 – it is never too late to join – Welcome to the July 2017 31 Day Challenge – read @coda‘s post on page 1 for general information about how this works – looking forward to getting to know you
@snowflake56 – hello – wondered where you had got to 😀
@pippapah – Don’t stop the FDs – this is a WOL – I have been maintainaing since December and still do 2xFD each week BUT it does mean that I can eat a bit more freely on my NFDs (which are usually 16:8 days) Others who are in maintenance find that 1 x FD and 16:8 NFDs works well for them. As a pocket wino I find that the 2 FDs allows me to have a glass or two 4 nights a week with no damage to the weight.
@soontobesvelte – you have popped into challenges in the past if I remember correctly in March – stay with us this month – lots of support and advice freely and willingly given on here – TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER
@onahealthyhigh – enjoy the 🍷 you are still under your goal and I’m sure you will stay there too!
@rainbowsmile – one bad hour does not a bad day make – you are stronger than you believe and you can do this
@msraven – that birthday at the end of July will be a good motivator for you – sounds like you have got into the right mindset – stay strong and positive
@laddie10 – nice to see you back with us – it’s great to see people on this forum from a wide spectrum; from those who have just started with this WOL and others who have been maintaining for months – you most certainly will be able to contribute and support – stay with us
@bert1802 – despite your own struggles it’s great to read such a supportive post to those new to this WOL from you 🤗 You will slay that dragon 🍫🐉🍫🐉🍫🐉
@hannahwatto – “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations” you will get there!
    @redrockgirl302 – happy dance time 💃great job

Lovely to have such a mixed group on this Challenge – don’t measure yourself against someone else – we all start our journey at a different stage and progress at our own pace but remember that a little progress each day adds up to big results!

    TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER

    Day 4 California USA NFD

Happy 4th of July to fellow Americans and anyone else who wants to join in the celebrations!

I was down .2 of a pound from my lowest and 1.2 pounds from our dinner with friends Sunday night. So 65.2 kg this morning.

@flourbaby, remind me to never sit opposite you eating nachos on a fast day!

@bert1802, I hear you regarding the Chocolate Dragon! Once he starts after you there’s nowhere to hide! Have you tried dark chocolate (in measured amounts of course)? It has less sugar and other ingredients and to me it seems more satisfying because of its intensity. I’m less inclined to overdo it. Menopause? Been there, done that. You can observe me often in the grocery store, fist raised high in the air, shouting a resounding “Yes!” as I pass through the aisle selling sanitary supplies!

    Day 4 USA-WA NFD
    Happy 4th to all celebrating!

    Hello just popping in

@laddie10 – you really just want a medal admit it – don’t you ha ha! Seriously thank you for coming back and sharing. I think it is more of an incentive to those starting out or still travelling along on their journey. ‘If they can do it well so can I’ it gives hope that this WOL really does work.

Bert1802 – no probs I will update for you.

@hannahwatto – never too late and lovely to see you back. I was so sorry to hear about your brother. I left a note in June for you but not sure if you felt up to reading through all the posts. Just glad you are here and raring to go.

I am a big fan of visualisation and for the some of you who listen to us saying don’t worry just climb back on the wagon – I want you to picture this
    http://www.boylebuiltwagons.com/DSC01935—web.gif
We got hold of your hand – don’t worry just trust in the plan!

And some of you may find this link interesting.

    Day 4 – 🇬🇧- FD

    Happy 4th July 🇺🇸 🎉 🎉

I have highlighted some of the names on the spreadsheet – these are the ones I know are maintaining – won’t it be great that more and more of these names will be highlighted!

    @bert1802 – duly updated 🙂

Hello. Please explain to me how the 5:2 programme works. I would like to try it to lose excess weight and fat. On the 2 fasting days do I totally abstain from eating or am I allowed to eat some stuff and if I am, which ones?

My tummy is also flabby after I gave birth less than a year ago and I would like to get back to shape

Please add me to the July challenge

Day 4 Akron OH happy fourth to my fellow Americans. NFD as we are having our family grill out today.
    I wish everyone the best.

@privilege – start with https://thefastdiet.co.uk/how-many-calories-on-a-non-fast-day/ for a brief overview, then there are a number of newbie threads in the forum which are well worth reading.
Some people do abstain from food completely on the 5:2 plan, but for most on the 2 fast days it is a very restricted calorie count of 500 calories, or one quarter of your estimated daily calorie allowance for maintaining weight. There is no restriction on what food you eat, but reducing carbohydrate and adding protein or healthy fat tends to be more filling, and better for the food cravings.
Prepare to drink a lot of fluid – generally it’s the best way to keep the hunger at bay, and also is required to flush out the fat.

    Day 4, USA: Kansas, NFD

@coda A beautiful job done on the spreadsheet, thank you for taking the time and effort you’re giving to lead the July challenge =)

Yesterday was challenging for me- my family decided they wanted pasta for dinner and I can’t eat it: even a small amount really affects my glucose readings badly. So I fixed their pasta and just didn’t eat a bite while they were eating because I know myself and I’d just be testy and resentful having my chicken and salad while they were eating something I used to love. However I managed to stay under the 500 calorie cap and so I feel yesterday was a success. Come bedtime though I was so cold! My fingers and feet especially, that I ended up sipping on an herbal tea blend and taking a really hot shower before throwing on winter pajamas and going to bed a little early for me.

Happy Fourth of July to the other Americans here, to everyone else have a lovely day too!

Day 4 McMinnville Oregon USA NFD

FD didn’t end well for me. Today is a new day and I will be controlled in my eating!!

Day 4 NFD. Had a very successful FD yesterday but now the hard work starts. Spending a week at my daughter’s helping with the Grandchildren with no influence over what is cooked. Hoping to cut down on breakfast and lunch and eat smaller portions . Will let you know how it goes. Happy 4th July x

    Day 4, Emden Germany, FD

Happy 4th of July for all our American friends!

Hi @at, I’m still here. We had our summer vacation last month. Sitting behind a computer all day at work, I don’t want to be online while on vacation so didn’t read or post. Ate a lot, moved a lot, gained a little weight, that’s fine, was getting too skinny.

@lilymartin missed you! I’m missing @okeydokey and Co, where are you?

Day 4, USA, Missouri Ozarks, FD

Hello all, Happy 4th to those who celebrate ! Pouring rain here so there won’t be a lot of fireworks which is fine as they have been going off for several days already.

Weight still holding below my 145 maintenance level. I don’t really give it too much thought as it has been so stable for months – but also don’t want to become complacent. I keep up my exercise, exercise, exercise – water, water, water – so maybe that is what is helping as I really am eating whatever I want. Luckily, what I want is pretty healthy as I don’t crave chocolate or sweets or anything. Had a piece of homemade angel food cake yesterday topped with fresh sliced strawberries and Lite Cool Whip – it was lovely.

    Wishing all well.

Day 4 FD 2d of B2B. St. Louis USA
This is my second post today. Just realize that I put day two on my first one instead of day 4. It was early and I was sleeping in before I started my fast day.

@lindasue – I understand fully about complacency! Maintenance still means adhering to our WOL. You are doing ever so well!!

    Day 4: Gloucestershire, UK. NFD
    Spreadsheet working and updated….thanks @coda and @strawberriesandcream.
    @hannahwatto, great to see you.

    Day 4 | Alaska | NFD

@coda thank you for adding me and for hosting this months challenge.

@strawberriesandcream thanks for the info. I Fast on Mondays and Thursdays do maybe Wednesday morning would be a good day for recording my weight. I weigh every day but I’ll make Wednesday my official weight, lol.

@debster I wish I could do a clean out of junk food. My husband is a junk food junkie and not interested in changing. He’s somewhat supportive of me as far as accommodating my low carb lifestyle (he’s the cook our house) but he doesn’t participate in any kind of healthy living himself. No diet or exercise for him. However, he is trying to manage his alcoholism so that’s at least one positive step. One day and choice at a time. We all have our demons.

Good luck to everyone today and happy 4th my fellow Americans.

    Day 4 Italy NFD

I’m not really sure how this challenge works as I don’t seem to be able to find any instructions – I’m new to 5:2 (in my 3rd week) I’m guessing when I locate the spreadsheet I add my weight loss at the end of the month?
Yesterday was a FD and when I started to feel hunger pangs I read lots of the posts on here – great distraction. Looking forward to the results at the end of the month and have amazed myself that I’m actually enjoying the FD’s 🙂

day 4 1st Post NFD Huntingdon UK

Hi @ La Dolcevita Here is the link to the spreadsheet

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FfDq5-c4sKYfhPv7snoyTcMfPFVO68EoffboO_mf9a8/edit?ts=59569c66#gid=0

you can add what details you like … starting weights measurements….. also your FD , NFD, and controlled diet (CD) on the sheet as well as aims and goals…… and then at the end you can add your end weight….. hope this helps

Its a fairly free and easy forum with people supporting each other… not everyone chooses to complete the spreadsheet while others find it really motivating

Glad you are enjoying your FDs……. I also do quite a lot of walking and always find it a liberating experience on fast days as I feel lighter !!!!

Thanks, SongBirdMe, I agree that this is a way of life and I think my mind and body has accepted that. I just naturally say No now or say Just a little. Like the dessert, rather than a three layer chocolate cake with gobs of icing, a slice of angelfood, a few sliced up strawberries and a couple spoons of Cool Whip served me better. Yet, I still had dessert.

I still often think that the scale will say 148 or something some morning but so far – so good. However, with this plan should it jump up, a couple extra fast days and I would be set. That is the comfort of this way of eating.

I know one thing that has really helped with the belly – limiting severely the diet soda (I hate regular soda so that’s no problem). Now I have maybe one soda a week if I am eating out with friends or something as opposed to probably two or three day in years past. It truly cuts down on the puffiness.

Usually drink lemon water but once in a while have a Diet Dr. Pepper or Coke Zero.

    Good to “see” you, neighbor.

Day 4 Israel (Crazy 5 day long heat wave here!!) NFD (16:8).

@coda thanks for the spreadsheet- I filled it in and I think it is a great help for me, as I find it hard to keep up with all the messages on this board (But when I do I’m really pleased to read and learn from all of you).
I’m doing well considering the heat, my lovely energetic kids on school break and my OH away in America for 2 WEEKS!! Maybe the heat is actually a good thing as I definitely feel less appetite than usual.. Yesterday was my FD and I barely noticed (although I know it maybe due to beginners enthusiasm..) and in the evening I had watermelon cubes with Feta cheese- It was great.

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans, great music on the radio here today thanks to the holiday 🙂

Linda Sue….hello happy 4th….I am new, starting this fast diet. I so want to be successful. Will start tomorrow. I think I will get the kindle version since I live in the city (San Diego) and it is very crowded out. I want to be 20 lbs lighter….I live in the US, with a good looking cowboy also.

Day 4 – SW WA USA – NFD

Making it at least a 16:8.

Happy July 4th to all living in the USA! It’s a gorgeous sunny day here.

If you’re new to 5:2, do take time to read Dr. Mosley’s book. As to how this forum works, read Coda’s post at the beginning of the July Challenge. You will find good support for the intermittent fasting journey here.

Hi tonib, gotta love those cowboys. We were in a restaurant once and the waitress said (to me),

I bet he gets by with a lot, doesn’t he?

I said, How can you tell?

She said, those good looking cowboys always do…..

Wishing you and your cowboy a wonderful, wonderful life.
    Nice to meet you.

Hey AT, thanks for the call out, much appreciated 🙂

    Day 5 Australia NFD

Thanks for encouragement @coda and @califdreamer for the laugh this morning, can’t wait for the opportunity to shun that aisle. I had a good FD yesterday at 440cal but the scales were being stubborn this morning so I am ignoring them, my way of dealing with numbers I don’t like or agree with. Instead I pulled out a dress I was squeezing into earlier in the the year which now fits well from boobs to bum.

@lisalily82 I get really cold on FDs too, hot tea is my saviour!

    Drink lots of water everyone.

    Day 5 – UK – NFD

Late starter here! My aim is to reach 59kg by the end of the month. I’m currently at 60.3kg.

    Day 1, 2, 3 = NFD, Day 4 = FD

Day 5 FD country West Australia
It’s raining!!!!! Thank goodness. Loving the sound of much needed rain. Not so sure about the forecast of 10ºC temp.
And they are also forecasting snow on the top of Bluff Knoll – a mountain down the south.
It rarely snows in WA and this will be the second time in a week…. Brrrr.
@snowflake56, thanks for the shout out. Good to be back! Am trying to do the ‘No plastic July’ . It’s much harder than I thought!! Even harder than a FD on a cold day when everyone is having a delicious hot meal with the aroma wafting ion your direction!
    Have a good day all.
Onward and …. onward at this stage for me.
