How weight loss works

    I have done a week on the diet and was so disheartened when i didn’t lose any weight at all.
    to day i was starving i usually have a green smoothie for breakfast but decided to skip it and wait till later to eat something , i have been in the garden digging ect and was so weak and starving that i had to come in for something to eat .
    I decided to to try this muffin Dr Oz one ,i have had it before but thought it would fill me up so far no joy i feel to need to eat , i won’t though till at least 3pm maybe a smoothie then salmon and veg for tea .
    In case anyone is interested here is the recipe :-

    40 grams of flax seed ground or left whole
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon coconut oil
    2 teas cinnamon
    1 teas baking powder
    stevia to taste not much though.

    put into a mug and mix well then microwave for 50 seconds .

    Would love to know what people think of it , i can tolerate it , i just wish i wasn’t so starving all the time . Funny thing was last week i wasn’t , maybe i will lose weight this week.

    I struggled with the first weeks to resist the call of sugar and caffeine and just cramming sweet goodies into my mouth until I felt full and happy. There was no real cure for it but to do as you are doing and power on.
    It took probably 3 – 4 weeks for me to really begin to be able to differentiate proper hunger from cravings and a desire and need to eat. Maybe also my appetite had decreased a bit by then. I have since found it harder to fast if I have a few dirtier eating days than if I eat clean and healthy between fasts. It is almost as if giving my body it’s old diet reminds it of what once was and it starts to crave it again almost immediately. The indigestion soon follows but it doesn’t stop my mouth watering at the site of cream cakes!

    I have just popped in from gardening again , made myself a black coffee and having a small banana till tea .No smoothie today.
