Hello from Essex, England. New starter

  • Hello I’ve been looking at this diet and don’t know how to get started. I am also in college and there aren’t many places to get a healthy meal and I always seem to get tempted by the usual suspects of KFC and McDonald’s. Has anyone got any tips on starting?

    I’d say my biggest tip would be to give yourself time to prepare your own food. Only that way will you truly know what and how much you’re eating. Keep a food diary too. Myfitnesspal is good. If you got up all your calories, you may find the likes of McD’s and KFC a little less alluring because of their high calorie content. Personally speaking, I’ve cut down enormously on sugar and this has helped to put an end to the daily cravings for rubbish food. Don’t forget to count your calories from alcohol too. Good luck.
