    I’m just in my third week of fasting now and need some encouragement! Unfortunately food has been a big part of my life – going out for meals, coffee and cake, chocolate binges! However, I’m determined to make a lasting change for once. I think my body was trying to tell me something when I started having reflux problems and painful knees. I’m trying to do three days of fasting each week at the moment and have lost about 6lbs, but most of that was in the first week! I’m not dieting as such on the non-fasting days. I guess I need to see a light at the end of the tunnel – I started at 13 stone 6 and (being realistic) would like to get to 10 and a half stone. How is everyone managing the ‘non fasting’ days – I wonder whether I should be counting more to make it quicker?

    I started this week, I am aiming to do 1400 or less on my non-fast days today so far on my non-fasting today i have only ate 510 cals, but I have a meal out tonight to look forward too and I know this will take me right up to my goal weight. I would recommend downloading My Fitness Pal it is a great app to keep an eye on your calorie intake.

    Thanks Jessie – I mean to download My Fitness Pal – need something to keep me on track! At least with this diet you don’t panic when you have an event to go to, which is a relief! Good luck 🙂
