OMG…. On my second fast day this week and I have kids home as it’s half term. They are driving me crazy and they need feeding all the time. Can’t wait for bedtime, I’m exhausted!

I know it’s tough, Izzie, but the kids are actually doing you a big favour by keeping you busy. How about preparing a big buffet for them and letting them feed themselves this week. Then forget food and keep yourself and the kids busy with activities to burn up all that energy – long walks to the park, games of football (or whatever), trips to the museum, go for a walk in the country and hide Easter eggs along the way but don’t even think of eating one yourself! You can munch on celery, strawberries and low calory nibbles.
