First Fast Day Ever….!

  • Ok, I’m doing it….Monday, 2:35pm. I finished reading the book last week and think I put on 5lbs in anticipation of starting. Ugg. Anyway, thought going full fast w/ non calorie liquids, mostly water, for the first fast would get me off to a good start. And so far so good – surprisingly. Went for a 30min jog about an hr ago w/out difficulty.
    Now I just have to make it thru snack time when kids get home and making dinner for all except me tonight!
    Good luck to all others. I enjoy reading your posts.
    If today continues well, I will be brave enough to include my ugly stats in an update tomorrow! XO

    Completed 1st fast day! Yeah! I almost nibbled absent-mindedly while making kids lunches, wasn’t hungry, just habit – but held off.
    My bio & starting stats: 48yo, female, 5’9″, 190lbs, total chol 230, BMI 28, waist measurement (2″below belly button) 43″ (gross).
    Went easy on breakfast this am but I’m already hungry for lunch.(it’s 10:20am) Going to get a quick jog in before. XO
