First Day Fasting

  • My Naturopath introduced me to the book. I have never been open minded about fasting. But this time I decided to read the book and make a decision from there. Yesterday was my first day fasting. And surprisingly not that hard! I was able to stick to the calorie reduction. I felt pretty good. No afternoon sluggishness. I managed my hunger by keeping my mind occupied. The hardest part was after dinner, and bedtime. I felt very hungry then. And for some reason did not sleep well at all. Woke up almost every hour. I’m not sure if it was caused by the fasting or stress. I will give it another go on Monday!
