Denise said didn’t you take them coke’s out like the advert 😁.I was told there is no gym tomorrow and they asked if I could be free to bowl so I said I could,now I have just received a text of the fitness instructor Ruby saying it on tomorrow and cancelled next Wednesday 😮😮😮. will see if they call me for bowling,if not I will go to gym.

Up early and out before breakfast…decided on the park as he has a good run..met loads of dogs he went playing with, a bit like a dog club!..so a good decision …come back he’s shattered….
My hunky builders haven’t arrived yet but 4 pallets of bricks have been delivered ..

Yet another fast day for me,last time I did three in a row I put on weight 😲 we had a thunderstorm at 2-10 this morning,good job Heidi is going deaf she never moved, normally she would be panicking.Going to be very warm in the gym today 😥😥😥. Unless I get a call for bowling, don’t think I will though, They did ask if I could play in the winter league which is in a Tuesday and Thursday which would be ideal so I said yes.
Dave- well done 3 FDs! Don’t think I could be enthusiastic about the gym on a hot day like this! I’m banking on getting sweaty enough to lose a pound just sitting outside 😂

Took Xena out for a 5 minute walk earlier; she was worn out when she got home!
Youngest is off today, still not feeling great but bored, so have been playing games with him to amuse him, like the good old days!😂

A day of disappointment ☹️the builders must have another appointment, I know they had to finish a job off and it was quite wet this morning…maybe tomorrow…ok about it…
So hot here now..just whizzed around the upstairs flicking the duster and hoovering..stopped in the entrance hall…too hot to do much but feel guilty sitting…got another book to start…

I feel very hungry now, I think I will have a low day instead of a fast day and do a fd tomorrow.The gym has drained all my energy in the heat.I started drinking water last night but had to get up twice so will have to keep doing it maybe and hope I can sleep through, difficult to sleep with it being so warm
We have 28 degrees here at nearly 6 pm so hot and muggy..I have a boy who has been crying for a hour wanting his walk!!
It will be in another couple of hours at least….
We have had a call from the hospital to go and see the specialist on Friday at 10.30..he leaves to go on his holiday Friday night ….so don’t know what to expect….waiting game again…

Hello Everyone
Hope you’re all coping with this heat that we’re experiencing at the moment.
We had a lovely few days away in Norwich and thank goodness for air conditioning in our hotel room. Had way to much to eat and drink but got on the scales this morning and weight was the same as last week which I’m so pleased about as I deserved to have gained some due to the amount of food and alcohol I had. Have just managed to catch up with everyones post.
Hedgehogs glad Xena is getting back to her usual self.We have had our usual Wednesday and visited daughters first thing and grand puppy was out for the count bless her. Our daughter said don’t be fooled into thinking when we have her to stay whilst they’re away that she’ll be quiet like that.
Jean no hunky builders for you today ? Hope Steve continues to keep well with this heat. My husband is struggling with his asthma at the moment.
Dave am impressed with how you managed the gym.

I am not coping with this heat at all. In fact I am pathetic! Just wasted the day really. I think people fall into two camps in the heat, one lot find it easy to fast as they just don’t want to eat much and the other camp can’t even think straight so just stuff food in willy nilly. Guess which camp I am in 😂😂. Have to buck my ideas up tomorrow though, one week until August 1st weigh in, then on the Saturday down to friends in Kent for five days. So it’s ADF til then, which gives me five fasting days. Jean, not too long to wait for appointment and hopefully hunky builders will come tomorrow to take your mind off things. Nana, glad you had a lovely break and a good result on the scales. When are you having the puppy ? Dave, very impressed with all the bowls and gym stuff you have been doing, I barely have the energy to make a cup of tea. Think all the dogs are suffering. Charlie seems to be the only one raring to go!

Mel- I’m with you on not handling the heat, am always bewildeted by people saying they’re not hungry in the heat, doesn’t happen to me😂 ! I did lots of picking all day yesterday!
Nana- sounds like you had a good break & well done with the scales! Your grandpuppy sounds easier than Xena was, at least she knows when she’s tired& goes to sleep! Xena would get overtired, we had to put her away in her crate every hour or 2 for a rest, she’d not do it herself!

Don’t normally get too hot at night, I’m usually the opposite, but last night was boiling! Xena was whining- think it was the collar on, she’s not impressed! She’s much livelier today, think it will be fun keeping her from overdoing it now! We got her a yak milk chew which she’s really happy munching on for hours…hair cut & colour for me & that’s it, Xena duty the rest of the day 😂…and back on fast800 too.

Morning Everyone
Aiming for a fast day here also Dave as we’ve decided to forgo our usual visit to Ely today plus a busy weekend coming up with eldest grandsons engagement party on Saturday and then a nephews birthday bbq Sunday.
Mel grand puppy will be arriving Tuesday morning and staying until Thursday early evening.
Hedgehogs – daughter said yesterday that puppy has her moments and has time out in her cage. I was shown the training manual they were given at dog training class which will be left with us also so that we carry it on whilst she is with us 😦
Dave was thinking about the Roy Orbison show be interested to know what you think. Not quite so keen on Buddy Holly maybe it’s something to do with my elder sister who was a huge fan and always had control of the record player when we were growing up.

Had some cooking to do- those men of mine wanted hot dinners tonight- mad!!- so got it made ready early before the kitchen gets even hotter…did pick a little bit, I’m sooo hungry! Hair cut did look nice but now stuck to my face after the cooking! Sat outside now with my feet in a bowl of very cold water, bliss!
So hot for these workers of mine..goodness they work hard…bought a load of water bottles for the fridge, drunk them all so went to buy more and Tesco has nearly run out….finished now until early tomorrow all is coming together nicely…

The boy (s) sleeping…had to stop him running about this morning as he has a new squeaky toy….in the wood last night he found a lot of muddy puddles he stunk!!..only had his shower three days ago….hosed down outside!

Evening everyone,
Just finished my fast day – came in at 850 calories so not to bad. Husband decided to do a bbq and we decided to eat outdoors as it was a little cooler even though we could hear thunder rumbling around just started to eat and the heavens opened so had to dash indoors. The storm has made it slightly cooler.
Jean will be thinking of you both tomorrow x

We only recently realised that the way Neils shifts have fallen, he has 4 days off across the weekend so weve looking at trying to get away camping for 2 nights but now I think the weather is going to change and we are going to have rain, so not much point. Hmphhh 😑
Someone is coming to look at my car in the morning, it only drives in emergency mode at the moment, that is, very slowly! Ive had to cancel my dentist appt and I wont be able to get to work tomorrow either….grrr

A 6 am walk and it’s 22 degrees…Charlie sluggish this morning he doesn’t get up till 8 am bless him!
Blockers are here but waiting for sand….they are fed and coffee, Charlie has had scrambled egg and kibble..Steve says he’s better fed than him…quick shower and away…see what the plan is for him…SD has just found two lumps in her breast and she is being fast tracked for biopsy, she’s 46, a bit early I think for nasties ( her mum is just going through the same too) but we all could do without it…glum glum sorry..
We have both put on half a pound but still the same weight…so that’s good, this hot weather holds on to water retention so not too bothered.

HH are you aiming for another 800 day? I would love to go off camping but Paul won’t entertain it! He’s such a wuss. Likes his luxuries (as do I really!)

Rain expected so humid…my gladiator hunks have now left and I am so pleased with what they have done..they have worked unbelievably hard…
Steve has to go for surgery, towards the end of August, we are now moving on to a different hospital and the surgeon he works between the two hospitals…another lung function test on Friday and hopefully if there’s an appointment a week on Wednesday to see surgeon or the next Wednesday…he has been lucky if you can say that…only 20% of people get surgery as it’s usually too late when they get to hospital…if they hadn’t caught it..it would have been two years to live….all looks very promising they are taking a third of the lung away which is the bottom lobe…sending away for checking and seeing if they have got it all…
We are going to Whitby in the caravan on Sunday back Thursday to just get away..if there’s any spaces…
Dave and Denise have a lovely Anniversary today..have a lovely meal out and enjoy your pint too…

Thanks for the anniversary wishes.Jean my mate had cancer at work,he had treatment and a year later it went to his lung.He had part of his lung cut out and is going strong 6 years later,it’s never come back.I have lost 2lbs so maybe it’s the ice cream diet😁. Looking forward to a pint tonight and meal, going for a few pints on Sunday, possibly going to Stoke on Saturday for speedway.

With the prayer team I do on Saturdays, we had a prayer request for a 90 year old lady, she had surgery for cancer on her lung lining, very rare- & went on a cruise not long after! Hope the front garden is looking good?! Enjoy your trip away if you can fit it in…

We have got in at the caravan site we have been looking at for a while..a very dog 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 5 paw standard site, woods, beach, doggie pubs and cafes in the area…..enclosed grass area with doggie toys….just 4 nights..I will get organised tomorrow..
A lovely pub meal tonight, we sat outside as still hot Charlie joined us..wanting to get him socialised doing our things too..he was a good boy…someone told us about a walk we didn’t know about..

Jean so glad you’ve managed to book a few days away at what my husband and I now call Whetby after a very wet and windy week in Whitby earlier this year 😕 Will do all three of you good.
We also know people that have had the same operation and are still going strong – thank goodness it was an early diagnosis .

Hi everyone, Jean so glad you can get away for a few days. Site sounds great. I can only echo everyone else, all sounds very positive. Get the pesky operation out of the way then onwards and upwards. Dave, for someone who hasn’t drank any alcohol for a while you seem to be making up for lost time 😂😂. Practice for the holiday?! HH I am fasting today, not finding ADF easy but sticking with it. Weigh in next Thursday, I feel and look slimmer so hoping for good results. When is your next fast Nana?

Raining here at the moment and is forecast to do so until around 4pm tomorrow at least engagement party will be in a village hall today and BBQ is planned for 3pm onwards tomorrow so should be okay.
Mel I’m thinking of doing a controlled day today if I can and having a FD Monday and Wednesday as I won’t be able to do my usual Wednesday lunch meet up due to grand puppy duties and I figure I won’t have time to feel hungry looking after her. I would have done Thursday as an additional fast but I’m going blood Doning on Friday and have never fasted the day before as I’m not sure how it would affect me. My aim is to donate 100 pints – I’ve managed 75 pints so far mind you I started in 1977 so it’s taken a while.
