  • Morning All…is nearly afternoon….lol

We didn’t get up till 10 very late for us….I didn’t get to sleep till 2 am maybe jet lag…

Had a lovely night at daughters but she’s still not right full of worry and anxiety…again teaching with a busy head…and one son / hubby are causing her to worry arguing all the time…she was ok with us but we can’t really pin point the problem as she won’t talk….

Well a good day to fast when up late…I shall cook a ham joint and have it with a salad tonight…..and there will be enough for Monday fast….

    Rowena…

    Hedgehog…

    Dave…
Well done 9 lbs off in two weeks..the 5.2 is hard to understand how it works but it just does….it’s giving it a chance….go with the flow…you are well into your first stone off…baggy shirts for Xmas and a tight belt for your trousers…
Steve ended up like a sack of spuds, with a filly top at the top of his trousers..refusing to buy more until he had too..lol

    Lynne…
You are always a busy gal….poor Phil it sounds awful..hope he’s more settled now…well done on your 2 lb off and back on track and moving down…you must be pleased with yourself…hope you get to your monthly target πŸ˜€

    Kay…
Hope your cold is getting better…have a relaxing weekend…if well enough a good walk and fresh air on the coast…Mum always said big breaths of cold air killed the bugs, big breath and another on top before breathing out…she had some funny sayings…

    MJ..
Hope your…Dieter gone wild day…was good and back on track today…..mine was good..that’s why I am fasting today…πŸ˜‚

    DF…
Have a good weekend , doing anything exciting?…let’s have a good go to Dec 1st and see if we can get this weight off that would be nice…Kay has already started….unless the team is of the same mind…let’s get our head into gear in stead of coasting….kick up the bum!

    Saran…
I forgot you my lovely…..sorry….hope alls going well….keep with us…..have a lovely weekend too.

    Jean x

    Hi all

I lost 0.5lb this week, so that takes me to T-3 (lowest weight earlier in year) so Lynne we are getting there!!

I think Ive finally kicked the cold!

This morning we went over to meet people at a National Trust cafe and I treated myself to cake with my coffee! I survived my no sugar week and have been looking forward to this all week!
Week 2 of October Onslaught starts today and this is going to focus on my bad habit of snacking on cheese and crackers, so they are excluded this week, along with crisps and bread!
Going to make some soups for lunches instead.
Continuing with the water and herb teas and restarting the squats/lunges and adding in some planks and press ups. Thats what tv ad breaks are for..lol

I will read over the posts and comment later as we are over the page!

Thinking of doing the pebbles challenge thing for November?! Probably only a couple of people will know what Im talking about, so Ill explain later! Although I am away from Oct 28-Nov 4

    Kay…

Glad you are feeling better maybe that’s it for the winter…

1/2 pound off is still going down so that’s good….my scales only do stones maybe I should invest in another set….I have a tin of peas 12 oz so I know it’s a high pound or low…maybe I should look for a 7 oz can…lol

I think it’s nice to look forward to a treat…Friday as you know is ours…the thing is to make it one day and not a three day weekend as we have started doing…

Must start the water and squats again….how much water do you take extra to tea and coffee? I have 6 hot cuppas a day..no water…😬

    Have a lovely weekend..

    Jean x

Jean, I count all my drinks as long as they haven’t got caffeine in.
I don’t drink tea but my coffee is strong and black from beans. The only other hot drinks I have are herb teas – peppermint, lemon and ginger etc so I count those. And I drink sparkling water, as I struggle with tap water even filtered. I have to drink sugar free squash with flat water and Im never sure if I can count that!

    Kay…
I really must up my water…glad you are feeling better…

    Hedgehog..
How has your day gone?…..we have had a good day…NFD tomorrow..thoughtfully..lol

    Jean x

Jean- FD been fine thanks! Needed lots of hot drinks to keep me going as I’ve been so cold again- and sessions of rebound, hoovering and mopping inbetween to try to stay warm! Think the cold is worse than hunger…
Kay- hope that your cake was good!
Scotland- well done on the weight loss! I had a sneaky weigh-in today- usually Monday, but couldn’t ‘weight’- pun intended! 2lbs off again this week, so 10lbs off altogether in 5 weeks. Not sure where it’s gone from though- definitely waist, but doesn’t seem to be from anywhere else! I can’t have had 10lbs just on my waist!! Oh well, the scales are new, so they must be right, and at least it’s downwards even if it doesn’t show!
Rowena- how did the house hunting go?

    Morning All…

A dull day…not sure what we are doing may go through to Ikea for a walk around ….we both feel a bit flat after the holiday…holiday blues..lol

My fit bit is dying on me 20 months of use and battery won’t hold charge…mine is not sold now shame…looks like everyone is a wrist band now…flex two looks like the one a bit basic…does anyone else have this one, the swimming one?

The scales have moved a pound down so pleased the weight is moving…NFD today for us ….fasting Monday..

    Hedgehog…
Well done on the 2 lbs down hope it holds for your official weigh in day…

Have a lovely Sunday everyone…..who is fasting tomorrow?

    Jean x

    I’ll be fasting Monday!

    Hi. Quiet on here.
Hedgehogs we went to 2 places. One on a busy road but house was beautiful the other in middle of countryside and house was nice. OH loved the first and location not bothering him but I want to be away from large amounts of people. Problem was although second one was amazing I know I’d be scared on own when OH away with work.
Had nice day today. Lovely sunny greyhound walk. Went to our subterranean hone cinema to watch a film and I’ve just had long shower face mask pamper session. Reading another book by eckhart tolle who wrote the power of now which I read while on holiday. I’m in a real state with anxiety so trying everything to get over it. I totally get what he’s saying in the books so it’s very frustrating I don’t seem to find it so easy putting it into practice! !
OH away in Czech Republic from tomorrow til Friday. Dog will be in kennel so ill be on my own this week.
All sorts of irrational thoughts go through my head about him going away. I really am struggling.
Fasting Tuesday and Thursday this week.
Hope you all having a restful weekend xx

Looks like Monday and Wed FDs for me this week as I have flexi day off work on Thurs and would like to get a round of golf, followed by food.

Reasonably sensible weekend for me- put on a pound overnight and maybe the same again into tomorrow ready to kick some ass next week.

2 weeks in, 8 pounds lost.

Rowena- I’m with you wanting to be away from people!! Especially like our neighbours who had their music blaring out and door open until goodness knows when last night… It would be scary if your OH is away a lot I guess- maybe swap the greyhound for a German shepherd?!! I’m sorry that you’re struggling at the moment though- not read the Eckhart tolle book- but would probably find it helpful- it’ll be a stressful week for me as my son is off by himself for a work trip to Coventry Thursday (driving there and back in a day), then to Lincoln to see his girlfriend on Friday after another 10 hour day at work. We tried telling him he’d be tired and wasn’t a good idea, but he thinks he’ll be fine…
Hope you manage by yourself okay this week, especially the FDs!

Well done, Scotland! Hope your FD’s okay today.

Thanks Hedgehogs. Sure it will be fine.

Seems like a lot of us are affected by anxiety, which is about right statistically. It’s a really horrible thing. I suffered for 10 years with it and only managed to handle it through CBT sessions. It was a bit of a lifesaver.

    Morning All…

A dull start today…I bought my Fitbit flex having trouble linking it to MFP calories…looks like a job for today…swimming seems to be on a back burner…I will have to try and get Steve walking around the village..

FD for both of us…I feel we have got back on board straight away…not always the case…

    Rowena…
It’s hard coming to a decision which you both agree too….ours is a small village (1200 people) after 50 years of city life I was a bit apprehensive if I would settle…I would now never go back to city life to loads of people and traffic. We seem to be very laid back but we are in our marriage. We both had loads of troubles and upsets before.

Hope you find something you agree on..

    Hedgehog..
Hope all goes well for your son and his driving…always a nervous time…my daughter is exactly the same as you with the grandson…

Good luck, Hedgehog and Dave..we are both with you…anyone else fasting this Monday?

    Jean x

    Morning all,

I’m joining in the fast today πŸ™‚

    Stay strong!

    xx

FD today going fine. Find it much easier just eating nothing until I get home from work. I look forward to a meal at night!

Tonight’s grub will be mushy peas, then a tin of soup then a pot of pasta n sauce. Total calories 620.

Good luck to everyone else. 2 pound gain over the past two days so hoping for a positive response. May do 3 FDs this week to ensure a big loss.

Dave- I find it easier to not eat all day and then eat a bit bigger meal in the evening.
Jean- hoping to get my hubby out for a walk too! Our local pool is closed for refurbishment, so would mean a trek to the next nearest, can’t be bothered, and I’m too cold as well!
    Scales were still good today!

    Hi Fasters…

We are going ok..a bit peckish about 12 but was out so had a coffee…so fine now.

No swimming couldn’t be bothered!! 😬 We had a good walk out and about and a bit of shopping…I shall walk out properly tomorrow must do something…

My scales still looking like a pound down still holding tight…even after a few chips yesterday NFD….lol…hoping for another pound by Friday..🀞

I like something to eat in the morning about 100 cals, berries, fruit and a little chai jam, tablespoon of granola…

Keep going we are getting there….

    Jean x

Jean- have you got a recipe for the chia jam? I’ve got a good recipe for chia porridge for non-fast days.
Today’s been really hard- normally I like having a Monday FD, and feel quite energised on FDs, but today I’ve not stuck at anything, a very non-productive day! We did have a good walk though.
DF and Dave- are you both okay?

    All good here thanks!

Had lots of black coffee and diet Irn Bru during the day. Scotch broth soup (125cals) at 4.30pm.

Plan to have either mushy peas (I’m weird- I love these in a cup with lots of malt vinegar) and a pasta pot, or have a tin of spag bol. Either way, should be a pretty simple <600cals day.

Sorry today has been a bit sluggish for you- there’s always tomorrow!

Still going okay but getting hungry now. Tuna salad awaits .. trying to leave it as long as possible! Works been so quiet again .. it’s a worry and makes FD’s so much more of a challenge!! I’ll be proud of myself tomorrow tho πŸ™‚

Thanks hedgehogs for checking in on us πŸ™‚

Take care everyone and have a lovely evening xxx

Dave the mushy peas sound good .. I’d like that myself!! Stay strong πŸ™‚

    Hedgehog…

If you like a homemade granola recipe…I throw a tablespoon on with the berries and chai jam..lovely..

    Chai Jam

    Chai Jam
It’s a more soft jam, so lovely in yogurt, on top of muesli or granola, even scones. Only keeps a week in the fridge. I like mine tart so only used 2 tblsp of honey…and I didn’t use vanilla…
You can also use mixed frozen berries and other fruit, the frozen fruit gives you the liquid what makes this jam.
    1 gr = 1 cal …
    1 tablespoon 20 cals

    5-minute Raspberry Chia Seed Jam
    Makes 1 jar

Chia seed jam is a healthy, low-sugar alternative to regular jam. You can whip this up in 5 minutes and have an incredible, homemade jam in your fridge! I used this post as my guide for this recipe.
Use any berry type of fruit, I add another 2 tablespoons of water if fresh.

2 cups raspberry (if using frozen, defrost first)
    2 tablespoons chia seeds
    2 tablespoons warm water
    2-4 tablespoons honey
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)

Add the ingredients to a pan.
First the berries with water, defrost or if fresh warm through to go soft. Mash up to break up and mix, leave as chunky as you want.
    Add honey and stir through.
Taste and add more honey if you would like a sweeter jam. (I like it with 2 tablespoons, but with the raspberries being a tart fruit, it isn’t as sweet as regular jam, so add more if you want it like more traditional jam.)
Stir in whole chai seeds. Mix well. Add vanilla if wanted I didn’t .
Transfer the mixture to a clean jam jar and allow to set in the fridge, over night..Enjoy!

    Lasts 8 days

(I am making it with mixed frozen berries, I think I like it the best…quite tart just 2 tblsp honey)

    Thanks Jean- I’ll try that!

    Evening All…
All finished here…three phone calls and a very late dinner!…our days gone well kept busy…

    Hedgehog…
Can you pass the porridge recipe over…another month and it will be on the menu…lol…Steve likes his porridge…he might not notice the seeds…lol

Glad you managed a walk…I hope to tomorrow….my new fit bit is telling me I am doing well, on charge now…it’s been a nightmare sorting MFP to Fitbit ..I have done it but no idea what….two full days!!

    Dave…
Enjoy the peas…will leave you to have them..not for me…lol

    DF…
Enjoy your tuna salad….phone calls kept me busy…daughter stuck in traffic for 45 mins ( hands free!).. daughter in Louisiana 45 mins..just finishing then our friends rang….enjoyed our ham salad…

    Have a lovely evening…

    Jean x

Hi everybody, I’m sort of new… I started the FD a couple of weeks ago but then had a week away when it was impossible to follow the programme. First FD back today and it’s been really tough and I’ve been cranky as hell. What a glorious introductory post….!

Hi Gommine, welcome and good luck.

My first two FDs were HORRIBLE!!!! I felt like I was going to pass out- it’s purely a habit though and the body craving what it doesn’t need.

My 3rd FD was much easier and it’s manageable now. I still have 250 cals I can eat the rest of the day today but don’t really feel I need them.

    Keep in touch.

    Hi Gommine…

Yes a good introductory..lol…it happens to us all, something gets in the way..

First week back let’s get you back on track…let’s get some weight moving….

Do come and join us we are a friendly group…

A few of us fasting today…all finished now…our (hubby) next day will be Thursday..

    Jean x

    Evening all.
Very busy day. Just put laptop down. Trying to write a project for a qualification I got roped into. Deadline is in a month and not started yet. Problem is I don’t actually get what to do.
Another very busy day tomorrow. Wanted to go swimming but I think I’ll come home and try to add to the very little I started on this project. If I get a bit done each day I’ll start to feel better. Am fasting tomorrow. Good job as don’t get time to eat!!!
Will ask for help from the lady who will be assessing me. I’m normally good at these sorts of things. It’s just that I can’t see how to write up the stuff I did. Plus you’re meant to link a lot of what you write with relevant quotes from different texts. I wouldn’t know where to start!!!

    Evening everyone

Not fasting as usual today as had a very low day yesterday so a bit unsure of how this week is going to pan out. I think I’ll jump on the scales in the morning and plan from there.

DF, hope you enjoy your salad, they’re beginning to lose their appeal now the weather is getting colder.

Hedghehogs, I’m looking for a chia pudding recipe if you’d like to share.

Rowena, was thinking of you as you posted. Hope you’re alright. Make sure you use us for support this week.

Dave, are you going for all the stereotypical Scottish fare today? Never could get a taste for Irn Bru even when working for few weeks in Glasgow and it was the only drink in the office vending machines. You’ve got this FD nailed.

Welcome Gommine. I’m a firm believe of telling it like it is, and sometimes it is tough, but other days it gets to the evening and all I’ve had is coffee and 500 cals seems like a feast. Having company on here helps.

Jean, I’m so impressed at how quickly you’ve got back into fasting following your month off.

Busy day tomorrow, phlebotomist and dietician for Phil, which should be interesting as she’s going to explain how to make sure Phil is eating enough and not losing weight. Seriously, eating could be my specialist subject, I know how to cram the calories in otherwise I wouldn’t have spent the last 2 years in a battle to drop a few stone.

Then tomorrow evening I have parents evening and as Bec is in Yr 11 it’ll be a good couple of hours queueing to spend 5 minutes with each teacher. Every year as I queue I convince myself I could organise it better. Still working on the master plan.

Well done fasters, hope everyone is having a relaxing evening.

    Lynne x

    Rowena…
Always busy…you do sound like my daughter..projects and qualifications…she sends it to me to read over…and I never understand it…lol

Good luck hope you get it started then it gets easier….I hope….

    Lynne…

You made me giggle….hope she explains it well….we all can see where you’re coming from….lol

Seriously hope she sorts something of a plan out…grit your teeth and bare up….hope your parents evening gives some good results…and better organisation….

    Jean x

Sorry Ive been missing! Still here and still going!

Fasting tomorrow as its easier when Im in work. As usual a couple of pounds up from end of last week due to ‘dieter gone wild’…lol…do like that!

I definitely need to up my exercise, the steps I achieve per day, unless Im actually out for a planned walk, is pretty pathetic.

Day 3 of the no bread/crisps/crackers and its definitely stopping my snacking!! Although I am eating cheese on its own, which isnt so good!
Ah well, one thing at a time!

Glad everyone seems ok. Welcome to the newcomers and well done Scotland, you seem to have hit a routine that is working.

Ive ditched the cold but given it to Neil…oops :-/

    Catch you all tomorrow x

Morning everyone, welcome to Gommine πŸ™‚ Stick with us!!

Lynne, I don’t miss parents evenings!! I remember it was a whole evening of a job most times, it must be just as bad for the teachers though. Hope it goes okay πŸ™‚

Kay, glad your feeling better. Good luck with your FD today πŸ™‚

Rowena, your so busy at the moment, hope you are managing to get some rest time to yourself too, take care!

Jean, another FD done and dusted yesterday, you’ve got back into it so well πŸ™‚ Next one Thursday for me also πŸ™‚

Hope everyone else doing okay, have a lovely day fasting or otherwise.

Together we’re stronger (hope our Audrey’s doing okay out there, I miss her so much here)

    xx

    Morning All…

A dull day here and a hair colouring morning..a pain in the butt!

    Steve…
So glad you are back to pre-holiday weight..3 lbs off hope it holds to Friday weigh in…πŸ˜›…

    Kay…
Glad to see you…pounds usually go up over the weekend, they will settle again…I know what you mean with exercise sometimes I am down to 3,000 a day very bad if I don’t try…..my new Fitbit ..a new start yesterday 10,100 steps…let’s hope I can today. A takes a lot of moving!

    Keep off the cheese!!….lol

    DF..
We will be with you Thursday, a couple of NFDs ….Audrey has lost 4 lbs since leaving and is enjoying the change…..she didn’t put her mind into it for a few months here with one thing or another…so well done to her.

    Speak later..

    Jean x

I can’t get on with chia, when I tried making chia pudding it came out like lumpy slime – is there something obvious I’m doing wrong?

Fasted yesterday, though I ate more than I usually would I think it was still under 500. Feeling a bit like a blimp today due to having a long, weekend with too much bad food. Might have to do 3 FDs to feel decent again.

    Pseu…
Sounds as if you have had a good weekend…maybe three fasts may sort you out…

As chai seeds…I have only made the jam…it’s the seeds which thicken it…….tastes lovely, you don’t taste the seeds…although it has a look of raspberry berry seeds….I like the mixed frozen berries…I put on my breakfast muesli, would be good in plain yogurts, on icecream…

I put it on toast that didn’t workforce me… Only 20 cals for a tablespoon ..

    Have a good day..

    Jean

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! I’m having a ‘normal’ day today although on non-fast days I still count my calories using the Lose It! app. I signed up to that before starting the FD and I thought I could do a hybrid of low cals dieting (the app gave me about 1400 cals a day), 2 FDs or possibly 3 if I feel up to it and at least one day at the weekend when I relax and have a bigger evening meal.

The week before last I did 3 FDs and by the 3rd one I was fine, but I don’t think I could do that every week.

Hi gommine! I’ve found the encouragement here really helpful, so hope you do too!
Pseu- that’s pretty much what chia seeds are like, lumpy and glutinous! I also have a recipe for stretchy slime as a playdough alternative I make for a friend’s daughter! But here’s the porridge recipe (sorry- haven’t worked out the calories as it would vary depending on how much maple syrup you use, what nut butter you use and what milk you use! :
    500ml almond milk
    2 tbsps. maple syrup
    2 tbsps. almond butter
2 tbsps. shelled hemp seeds (I just put sunflower seeds in instead)
2 tsps. coconut oil (I don’t add this in)
    2 tsps. ground cinnamon
    2 tsps. ground ginger
    10 tbsps. chia seeds
In a large bowl mix the nut butter with the milk, then add in maple syrup, coconut oil and spices. Mix well until smooth, then stir in the chia seeds. Cover and leave for at least 6 hours or overnight in the fridge so that the chia seeds can expand. Keeps for a couple of days in the fridge. You can eat it cold, but I warm a bowlful up in the microwave, and the recipe suggests topping it with berries and more seeds, plus maple syrup, but it’s definitely sweet enough for me.
This recipe is supposed to do 2 people, but it’s way to much for 2 helpings for me!
I’m going to make the jam recipe for tomorrow, thanks Jean!
Been shopping with eldest son- it was lovely but weird him paying for his own stuff now he’s earning!- and he bought lovely warm mini donuts for us… he corrupted me! But have googled it and reckon they were only 200 cals for the 3 it had, so that’ll be fine on my non-fast day!
Glad that Audrey’s doing well, sometimes a change is good.

    Hi All…

How’s it all going…Dave, Kay are you both doing OK?

I have been kept busy, got my hair coloured makes me look a lot better….more ironing, all finished now…playing with my Fitbit trying to up my steps…..I have a litre jug of water with a chunk of lemon floating in by my side trying to drink it all…

    Gommine.
Nice to have a NFD…we usually weigh in on a Friday morning and have Fridays off and eat what we like, or a meal out…it’s a treat day..πŸ˜€

    Jean x

Hi. Successful fd today. Genuinely not had time to eat. Relaxing this evening watching recorded programmes.
Tomorrow after work I’m meeting friend/colleague who is also doing the qualification i mentioned so hopefully we can make sense of what we need to write. I’m also meeting someone at 8am to talk through it.
    Enjoy your evenings. Xx.

    Rowena…
    I didn’t realise you were fasting today…well done on a good day…

    Have a relaxing evening…

    Jean x

Hope you can make sense of the project tomorrow, Rowena! There’s so much extra teachers have to do nowadays, isn’t there?!
I’m FD tomorrow- anyone else? I’m going to do Thursday as well, as Friday and Saturday will be indulging! (Am also making niece’s birthday cake Friday- oreo chocolate drip cake- I hope!)

    Oh dear, FD fail πŸ™
Thats a first in a while.

So FD take 2 is tomorrow. Thing is that my 2nd FD is Thursday, that will be interesting :-/

Welcome Gommine. As you can see who tell it how it is! lol

Jean, well done for getting straight back into it. And Steve too!

Rowena, I feel for you, so much on top of an already hard job.

Dave, how did you get on today. Better than me I hope!

DF, Ive already switched from salads to veg, but Im still adapting to the more prep it takes.

Hedgehogs, I may be doing the same as you…b2b FDs…. but it will be a first for me, you’ve done it before.

Lynne, how did you get on today? Did they learn anything from you..lol

Tomorrow is hump day, lets make it count as its far enough away from last weekend or far enough away from next weekend to make it a really good one πŸ™‚

Second FD of the week today. Did ok yesterday even though it was a NFD. I had a really stressful day at work and could easily have eaten loads last night but refrained.

Let’s see what today brings. We can do it hedgehogs and Kay!

Well done resisting stuff on an non-FD, Dave! I kept adding up my calories I had yesterday over and over again as I thought they’d have been higher, but it still came up to 1400 (my TDEE is 1600, so I try to keep well under it).
Already cooked breakfast for one son, and made packed lunches- they’ll both be out the way soon so I can ignore food then!
Jean- made the chia jam yesterday and it’s scrummy! Thanks for the recipe!

    Morning All..

    A dull day here…

A NFD for us so taking it steady….scales look like another pound down for me today hope it holds for Friday..

Out and about for birthday cards this morning….booked a couple of days away Friday and Saturday doing the treasure hunt on the bike…it finishes at the end of the month…moving away from us so hotels booked!!

Feeling a bit holiday blues so make the most of the weather forecast….we must be good food wise!! May break our rule for no alcohol …one each night..

Have a good day to the fasters…

Hedgehog…glad you liked the jam..which berries did you use?…if you like healthy coconut balls I have a good recipe…( just not at the moment for us πŸ˜€) They are scrummy..

    Jean x

Thanks for the recipe Hedgehogs, I’ll have to give that a go. I think I must have done something wrong with the chia pudding I tried because it wasn’t edible at all – and I’m usually not picky if things are vegetarian. I’m guessing that just going by rough estimates chia porridge is lower cal than normal porridge?

I’m a bit torn about doing an FD today, I should do three to get back on track, but I’m having one of those weeks where I am just really hungry all the time. Today would be a good day though since I’m going to the cinema straight after work it keeps me out of the house (and away from the fridge) for longer.

Symba ‘healthy coconut balls’ you say? Mmm… They sound delicious!

Does anyone else feel guilty for eating on their NFD? I never used to but I’ve started feeling bad even when I’m eating healthily, not a fan of this new development!

Jean- I used raspberries- really lovely! Couldn’t get anyone else to try it though! The coconut balls sound good too!
Pseudo- I don’t know about the calorie count on the chia porridge- it’s got but butter in it which is pretty high in calories. I do feel a bit bad eating stuff on my non-FDs too! It’s a bit of a balance, because I definitely don’t want to think of it as a feast day (I’d read that in a book about the 5:2 diet), and I do count calories as it helps me be more aware of what I’m eating, but like yesterday when I had some min-donuts, I did feel guilty, even though I didn’t go up to my TDEE!
