Fast beach diet – losing the last few kgs

  • Today is 11 May 2015. I had a false start to the FBD a few weeks ago so starting from again today. Usually fast Mon/Thurs, but moving to Mon/Wed/Fri.

    Biggest issues so far, and ways to overcome

    1. Social occasions made it impossible to cut alcohol completely – new approach is to allow myself ONE drinking day a week and otherwise work on my confidence to drink sparkling water at the pub (don’t need to drink to have fun!)

    2. Work treats, too many, too often – blanket ban, no work treats for 6 weeks

    3. Eating out – allow myself one of the following when eating out: alcohol, bread, entrĂ©e. No desserts for 6 weeks.

    FBD finishes 18 June 2015

    Fasting today (11/5) – feeling fine, 2 coffees so far (personal daily limit) and going to the gym tonight. Planning to have salad with egg, lettuce, broccoli and sesame dressing for dinner tonight (256 cal with 2 eggs and 2T dressing)

    Hi Mrs. Civ,

    I have a few pounds/kgs to go like you! Are you doing 4:3? I’m not sure I could do that, I’m sticking to 5:2 this week, maybe I’ll join you next week.

    I’ve been too scared to exercise on a fasting day. How do you manage it?
