  • Hello everyone! I lost about ten lbs. doing 5:2 a few weeks ago, stocking to 500 cal twice or even 3 times a week on fast days and 1500 cal on eat days. I had really gotten into a routine and was feeling quite confident in my ability to stick to the diet. Then we went on a short vacation last month and I completely fell off course. I want more than anything to get back to the strong, confident feeling I had before when I was successfully following the plan but am having a hard time disciplining myself now. I thought perhaps some words of encouragement from this community could help get me back on track. So please, any suggestions? I’m all ears!

Talk is cheap – you know what you need to do, you’ve done it before and you know it works. Stop procrastinating, get off your butt and DO IT!

There you go – tough love. 😉

Love this Tracy , hard but not a truer word said.

I know how hard it is when you have fallen off the wagon and it has taken me ages to get back into the zone/mindset in the past. But let’s face it this diet is flexible, healthy and pretty easy as you can have nice stuff on no fast days. But on these days I am having about 1600 cals not my 2100 like ttde, and I am losing about 2lb a week up to now. You have done this so do it again.

So it is tough love get back on and go with your motto failure is not an option!
