  • Greetings!
I’m at the end of my 7th week and I have lost a total of 17 pounds. We had Thanksgiving here last week, so I adjusted my fasting that week and cut back my exercise just a bit, which helped rest my body a bit. I did not overeat on Thanksgiving day and felt fuller easier. I didn’t go back for seconds, which I have in the past.

Thinking I may have plateaued because of eating higher calorie foods this past week, I was surprised to have dropped another pound. I believe taking a little break from my normal exercise routine contributed to this, too, for recovery.

Since my last body fat test 2weeks ago, I’ve lost 1% body fat with 1/2 a pound of that as muscle. I will increase my protein on my non fast days to help support my muscle.

My goal by the end if 2014 will be another 5 pounds. I’m still feeling great! More energy, less water retention, etc. I feel being in control of my diet, transcends to other areas of my life. I’m enjoying the freedom on non fast days of eating mindfully but enjoying a piece of pie if I want or popcorn without feeling guilty. Finding balance has been crucial for me! I wish everyone continued success on their progress! Cheers!

Congratulations! I agree, it’s nice to be able to have sweets without feeling guilty on the non-fast days.
