Anyone looking for a diet buddy?
I need to lose about 45lbs and I’m hoping a few diet buddies will make it easier.
I’m 41, live in the US And a mom of two young kids.
I’m planning on starting the diet on Monday 9/26

Hi Murphy, Many of us who were looking for 5:2 diet buddies ended up joining other threads. For example, there is an ‘October Challenge’ starting in a few days that you might want to join. There you’ll instantly have lots of buddies all actively supporting each other to lose weight! I’m just finishing up the ‘September Challenge’ and being a part of that group has been very rewarding. Here is the link if you’d like to check it out:
There’s also a thread of those who live in North America that you might be interested in liaising with:
I started 5:2 in late June and have experienced such great benefits both with weight loss and with improvements in markers on blood tests. The average loss via 5:2 is a pound a week. My results have averaged out at that over the 12 weeks since I started. All the best!
