Day 25 Massachusetts USA NFD Congratulations to all of you on your progress through the August challenge. Even if you only found out what you can and can’t do, that’s a step toward your goal. Although I’ve done the 5/2 with great success before, this time, either because I’m older or more sedentary (due to a medical condition) I have to be even more disciplined on NFD’s. I really don’t have a problem with FD’s – I eat a light breakfast then nothing until 5pm when I have a healthy dinner. I’ve said it before but planning/shopping is key to compliance. I look forward to my weigh in on 8/31 but clothes are fitting me comfortably so I know I’m closer to my ideal weight of 118 pounds. I’d gotten as high as 135 (I’m only 5’1″ tall) so my BMI was on the edge of overweight and when I saw myself in pictures I gasped! No more. @basyjames I want to continue on the September challenge please. Thank you for hosting.
Day 25, Rocky Mountains, US, CD
No FD yesterday, again, but maintaining.
Today I plan a CD.
@basyjames: Please count me in for September. Thank you for hosting. ⚘⚘⚘
Have a good Friday everyone! 😊😊😊
Day 25-26-27, Emden Germany, NFD
@sirisan I’m so glad, this sounds positive.
@basyjames I’m not joining any challenges anymore, I quit after this one, but thanks for taking the lead next month, so the challenges can go on.
Day 25, 2nd post,
@liathanail, make the most of it my friend, wear them ASAP!!! I completely skipped the size 16s, went from an 18 to a 14 and then only because a boundary-less colleague mentioned my ‘clown pants’, my local charity shop thought Xmas had come early!!!! The brain re-training goes for clothes, hairstyles, shoes (hello stilettoes!!) and, of course, food!!!! Congrats on making your August target too, you can bank any extra –lbs for September!!!!
@bigviking, I’m with you on the wine, cheese and biscuits, not so much the beer though. I’ve just had a thought, after a couple of glasses of red with lunch, that IF there were any cheese and onion crisps in the house now, there would be a massacre of epic proportions…… I really am embracing old mother Hubbard and keeping that particular cupboard BARE!!!!!
Onward & Downwards!!!!!
Day 25 – Cumbria UK – FD
I do hope than none of our fellow Americans on this forum are in the path of that hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico…..be safe
Lovely walk this morning with my usual group and no rain 😀
Just back from having a pedicure and I now have a lovely reddish/pink nail varnish on called Ecstasy!!!!
@maayyaa – Over 4kg down for the month so far is brilliant – definitely calls for a happy dance 💃 as is getting into those black jeans👖 that could not be done up previously!
@happymargo – well done on that successful FD and as you say it reassures that you can do this!
@okeydokey – do try the recipe as a celebration when your oral surgery has healed and savour it knowing that it is healthy too!! OH and I enjoyed it
@saffy420 – burying new clothes in smaller sizes is such a pleasing measure of success and so satisfying too!
@onahealthyhigh – great job on staying well below that 59kg goal weight – you may need to readjust that soon 😉
@ducks_d – love your OOCD I had one of those yesterday and am firmly pressing my reset button with a very low cal fluid only FD today!
@lilymartin – keep “Hanging in and hanging around” and you will get there – we are here for you and remember that TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER
@flourbaby – I’m trying to visualise your conversation with the cashew nuts and I agree that unfortunately they always win……..😄
@liathanail – well done on reaching your August goal – you never know you might drop a bit more before the end of the challenge!!! getting back into those trousers is such a positive affirmation that this WOL does work!
@bigviking – I was following you closely yesterday – Wine led me into a constant need to graze……need I say more!
@tea-girl20 – you have been busy and it all sounds scrumptious!
@sirisan – thank you for the update regarding your brother – sounds v positive and encouraging for him and you all
@metatauta – you are right we have not heard from @fatrabbit since Day 14 – hope the stresses at home are not getting to her too much – @fatrabbit – if you are hovering in the background just drop in to say Hi and let us know you are OK 🤗 in case one is needed
@snowflake56 – we will miss you!! good luck with everything and do drop in to say hello every now and then even if you are not participating in the challenges 🤗
@basyjames – Thank you for stepping up to lead us in September – count me in – the support and camaraderie on here keeps me focused on this WOL and has kept me in maintenance for the past 9 months!
Well it’s now 6pm and all I have had today is water and cups of tea with a dash of skimmed milk – going to save my glass of kefir until much nearer bedtime – reading the posts on here has kept me strong and positive that I can see this day out successfully
As Colin Powell says – “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
Day 25 – ABQ, USA – NFD
I think I’m really getting used to the FDs! Yesterday went really except what I thought was edamame turned out to be soy beans (not bad just not what I was craving).
Today has been rather hectic, starting with a 5 am notification that someone stole my debit card (GRRR!!) So I spent all morning dealing with that. Thankfully I’ll get a full refund but have to live without a debit card for a whole week — I guess that will help me on NFDs like today when I want to sabotage myself and load up on carbs since I can’t go out and buy any.
@basyjames Count me in for September!!
@debster251 Thank you so much for hosting this month’s challenge!
@liathanail YAY!!! Congratulations on meeting your goal! Way to go!!
@maayyaa Forget the scales its inches (or cm) that matter!! Great job!!
@daffodil2010 Hey that’s awesome! One whole kilo?! I may have to give liquid FDs a try sometime here in the near future! I’m a little skeptical if I have the restraint to do an all liquid FD (or no cals) but hey it’s all about discovering what we are capable of! Congrats again!
Looking forward to ending this month well! I’ve got one last weight in for the month on Sunday morning, (though I might do another on the 1st to see where I ended Aug & am starting Sept).
I’ve been looking into getting the “Fast Beach Diet” book and following that plan for Sept & part of Oct (since it’s six weeks) but doing the recommend upping of fast days to 4:3. I know it’s a little late for a “beach body” here in the northern hemisphere but hey its coming up on spring in the southern right?
Has anyone else tried it out before? Any recommendations for moving to 4:3?
Day 25 Lancaster, PA FD
@basyjames Please count me in for the September Challenge🌈✨😊Thank-you for helping out and keeping the Challenge going.✨🤝👍
@sirisan I am hopeful and wishing your brother better health and praying 🙏the cancer leaves his body. ✨🤗
@laurealice Thanks for 🤝✨🤝holding my hand, and I am holding yours. It seems we are in a very similar spot. Among the other scary words like extraction and implant, that word decalcification can be bothersome. Are they able to strengthen your jaw bones? My right lower side will need to be stronger to hold implants. I am sending you 🤗hugs and I will pray also. I am also visualizing successful procedures for us both in the best time. Please keep me posted on how things are going for you.✨
@snowflake56 I was sad to read you won’t be doing the September Challenge. I always love reading your posts, and your a good example of a remarkable success! Please drop back in to the posts when you get a chance✨
@daffodil sounds like the warm milk is helping.✨Congrats!✨You are doing great!✨🌈✨
@at How smart you are✨Your recipe is great motivation to get this work done. I’m not sure how long the process is going to take. I love crab and that will motivate me.😊
For our group fasters, as @sirisan said today, “May the Fast be with you!”
Day 25 Canada NFD
Having lunch and skipping dinner on yesterday’s FD was not ideal, felt kind of lost at the end of the day!
I am really enjoying focussing on my appetite and the foods I am eating. So far the FD’s have been relatively easy so I am going to try doing 3 alternating with 1 FD starting tomorrow, it fits with my plans for the next week.
I’ve lost 300g this week and that is just fine for this turtle.
@baseyjames count me in for the next challenge, I am enjoying the WOL and the community here!
Day 24 Québec. NFD
Day 25. Québec. FD. Hoping to make it a liquid only day. It is now 2:30pm in my part of the world and it’s going fine !
@basyjames I want to be in the September challenge please. Thak you for hosting
@debster251 I can imagine the little post you put on your fridge. Let’s hold on with this mind game. We can do it. Today is my 18th day without sugar but unfortunalely it doesn’t show on the scale or on my body. I Sometimes get discouraged but to be really really honest with myself I should also cut the wine. But it is sooo good to have one or two glasses with supper.
I’m happy that my link to the Ted Talk about the effects of fasting on the brain helped so many of my fasting friends here.
Have a nice day x
Norway, end of day 25, NFD
Just checking in, have had a little bit out of control day, but not too bad.
@basyjames please count me in on the September challenge, thank you for hosting.
@maayyaa yay for you! I would throw away that scale if I were you, and buy a new one, that sounds terrible! The trousers are a win, must feel great 🙂 I only wear tights anyway, all my jeans are sub-82kg-size, so still far away from trying any of them on…
Have a great weekend everyone! Last one in this month’s challenge!
(PS: what IS the challenge really? Do we win all of us or is it a real cometition of some sort? Can’t believe I didn’t think to ask until now…)
Day 25 – SW WA USA – NFD
Came through an 800 FD yesterday after 2 liquid FDs. Feeling good!
@debster251 – thanks for fixing the spreadsheet. It worked correctly now.
@snowflake56 – I agree that I hope you check in occasionally. I appreciate your input. Is your maintenance going well?
@basyjames – TY for taking care of September.
@mari84 – I believe we’re just challenging each other to post every day; to stay accountable.
Second post, just a late check in about 45 minutes before Day 26 🙂
Thank you so much everyone who gives tips and feedback and support. Very thankful for each and every one of you.
And you are all so true, i just need someone else to tell me this until i can see it for my self. I can’t believe i*ve been nagging about anything really, 4.1kg, its actually 9lbs my very first month I’m trying 5:2, i should be THRILLED, and i know that now, and I’m even aware that i can’t be disappointed for not keeping this fast pace for long. But i really do want to buy a scale that measures more than kgs. Maybe it can be a treat to me when i see results along the way.
@songbirdme, thanks for the heads up about donating blood on FD. I*ve never been much of a breakfast eater, but as many overweight people are told, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that you should eat every 3 hours….i now know that is bull**… i*ve even thought that if i should treat myself with chocolate or chips, i should be “full of nutrition” before i do so… i have therefore done Herbalife every time i didn’t feel like eating food…ok rambling about here, my point is, i*ve usually had high calcium and dairy breakfast before donating blood… but today i didn’t… and they even asked me for 3 “donates” instead of the usual two…my whole face was vibration about half way through, and it lasted for a total of 1hours and 13 minutes….and my eyes/face have looked like i really had a rough “night out on town” yesterday, and a huge hangover 🙂 So, @songbirdme, next time i will make my donation day a NFD 🙂
And now for the closure of today, my planned FD/CD today on a friday…turned into a CD just not so C…lol…i didn’t go crazy, but i*ve learned for now that a FD is not on a friday for me… since I’m again planning for a 3 FD next week, since its the final week, I’m thing b2b (first time) on monday and tuesday, and the last one on thursday.
I love this forum and everyone in it, and i love the spreadsheet and monthly challenge thing…. i LOVE excel in general, can be used to everything. I keep track of my kcals both in Lifesum (app) and Excel…love it love it love it.
(just a footnote: I have often just read the posts from the emails i get from this site, and felt up to date, although i have noticed that sometimes i dont recognize the post other posts are referring to…. i ve discovered that i dont get emails for all the posts, so from now on i will go all the way in to the forum, not just reading from the mail subscription emails i get.) Sorry for long post, …good night and happy weekend everybody.
@coda – love your updates chickens! LOL! Yeah for your and your coop!
@maayyaa – congratulations to you for your 9 pounds! That alone is terrific! Yes, the support here is the best. People care about you and your WOL. I’ve met three wonderful women on this forum as @coda and her OH came to Chicago! Also chitowntal and redrockgal — all terrific folk!
Quick question:
I’ve been drinking veg.boullion (?)
on FD’s for lunch or if the bad hunger gets me. After today i cant stand the smell, guess im all done with the boullion for a while. I see many of you suggests Miso soup… do you make it like a full soup, with “all” the ingrediants (veggies, seaweed, tofu) or just the liquids for FD’s?
Hi just me again – this can be a very late or very early post lol
@babbledrop – what plastic coop do you have – I have looked at a few wooden ones here in NI but started leaning to plastic for ease of maintenance and less likey to harbour red mite. We want a coop and attached run so we can move it round for fresh grass. However they seem only to be available on the mainland so can’t actually have a look at them. Some advise they are double walled which sound sturdy – so I guess I need to ask lots of questions.
@debster251 – think my quest for a coop is going to take a bit longer so would not be able to commit to taking on actual chickens just yet until I get their home sorted. Had thought of getting a couple of rescue hens (our first ever hens (Sally and Angie) were 2 rescue hens but I think we may get point of lay hens.
@sirisan that is good news and I hope the treatment is successful.
@snowflake56 – sad to hear you are leaving us but I hope you will drop in from time to time and let us know how you are getting on. Thank you for letting us know.
@mari84 – the basis of the challenge was to keep each other motivated with daily postings. These challenges are sometimes the first thing some members have ever committed to and seen it through to the end. The reward is in completing the challenge and if you happen to have ditched some lbs along the way – that is the bonus
I still have a very sick car although I could perhaps get used to being chauffeured around lol.
Day 26 – Tokyo, Japan – NFD 79.3kg
Down 3.2kg … that is because weight isn’t really one number it is a range. My 7 day fast seems to have lowered my range of weights. That is partly why I often weight myself, so I know it is an ever changing number.
@basyjames – Count me in for Sept. I’ll be likely silent for part of the month as I’ll likely be in China for a week.
@bert1802 – Muscles …
1) Muscles are really wet, they hold a lot of glycogen which is long chains of glucose and water. In fact about 75% water. When I was fasting I lost a lot of water weight and a good part of that comes from the muscles which use the glycogen up. Once I started eating that all came back really fast.
2) I didn’t see any loss of definition, what I did see is everything tends to look slightly smaller while fasting. If anything I started seeing more details, just less bulk. Again the bulk reduction was temporary and cased by widespread dehydration.
3) I personally found I didn’t want to push as hard when using my muscles, however if I did push my muscles responded just fine. That may be more related to ketosis than just the fasting. It is just some kind of weird mental thing to me.
4) I gained some strength during my fast and frankly I didn’t expect that. It wasn’t a huge amount and I don’t think the muscles are any bigger. Maybe just some shift in muscle chemistry. I’m not holding peaks as long but my endurance seems to be much higher. Anyway I just finished my Saturday workout and I did 150 push-ups. Before my fast I was finished around 130. I didn’t do many push-ups during the fast as I didn’t want to tear down my muscles when I wasn’t eating any protein.
I exercised some everyday during my fast. If I stop exercising for a week at my age I probably do lose some muscle mass. It doesn’t matter if I’m eating or not. Lack of exercise is what causes lose of muscle definition and loss of strength.
Thanks @maddyg and @coda for the body image visualisers!! @basyjames …would love to be in the September challenge!! Thanks for hosting.
NFD yesterday and of course Friday night drinks after being alcohol free all week. Probably well over TDEE as although I didn’t eat during the day, OH cooked roast pork and we also scoffed down chocolate liquorice bullets last night. (He ate most of them though!!) @penz and @bigviking I’m hearing you!! The wine leads us astray! However, that’s OK…back into a controlled day for today. Well I will TRY to be controlled…Off to the movies to see Tom Cruise’s new film “American Made” (just came out here). I’m not a popcorn eater but may have to indulge in some Maltesers and a coffee.
Congrats on reaching your goal @liathanail!! And @maayyaa 4.5 KG is a fantastic resut!!!!!
Glad to hear that the outcome is looking positive for your brother @ sirisan
Interested in the liquid fast days… Any tips on getting through the day?? It’s a bit scary…I will definitely have to have tea with milk though. May try it next week and see how I go.
Have a lovely weekend everyone
Day 25 Vancouver Island
NFD
Just wanted to send a big shout out to all those who have shared their journeys over the past month. It been really helpful to me to hear how others “do” the 5&2. It’s a nice feeling when I read the posts and find other people who feel the same way I do whether that be the disappointment that the scales haven’t moved or that you are so hungry you could chew your arm off or the sweet success of jeans fitting again!
Have a great weekend everyone! @basyjames thanks for doing the September challenge, could you please add me.
Day 26/CD/Melbourne Australia
@basyjames count me in for September please. Thank you.
Day 26 – Meath, Ireland – NFD
August Goal: 149 lbs
Current Weight: 149.5 lbs 😄😄😄😄
Guys, guys, guys! Look at how close I am to goal 🍾🍾
I have very successfully completed a 60 hour liquid only fast. It was so much easier than I thought. I last ate around 7pm Wednesday and have just now broken fast with 2 lightly boiled eggs (delicious)!
The scales showed another 2.5 lb drop overnight – 5lbs in two days of liquid only fasting. I felt a bit uncomfortable last night, not hungry, not tired…just kind of strange..and still not believing that I had gone so long without food. Eyes look brighter today, and I feel good. I was contemplating continuing the liquid only until this evening but decided to have breakfast with DH.
Off to work now until lunch time – this is my second 6 day week in a row so looking forward to chilling out tomorrow. I fully expect water weight to return Monday morning, but I plan another B2B liquid only fast Monday to set me up for my holiday from the 31st.
@annemarilyn and @okeydokey Thanks for the inspiration. Now I have done it once I feel confident I can do it again 🤗
@belmc the liquid only seemed super scary to me, reminded me of fasts that people did for charity at Christmas “just water and black tea” (quote from a Sawdoctors song) but wow, the benefits!!!! Give it a go. I did have a splash of milk in my morning coffee and a milky drink in the evening but kept under 80 calories a day. You can do it 👍
Day 26, Wales, NFD
@daffodil2010 – well done on the liquids only fast, your enthusiasm is infectious and makes me want to give it a go.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Day 26 Melbourne, Australia NFD
I wanted to thank everyone on here for all their supportive comments and suggestions. It really has made a difference to me. I’ve tried 5:2 before but totally on my own. My OH is a total computer geek and it was his suggestion to try the forum. WOW! what a good idea!! I am 3 kilos down in just over a week, and another FD to be done on Monday to wrap up the month. I have a long way to go (need to lose another 15-20 kilos but wont think about how overwhelming that is right now!). I joined late but it was so worth it – @basyjames can you add me to the September challenge please?
I too love Miso soup and hard boiled eggs on my FD, I add a sald in the evening and it works a treat. I just use instant miso soup, I buy them from the supermarket in a pack of 12, so convenient. I also treat myself most FD’s to a skinny cappucino, only a small but I feel I need the treat to make it through!
Thanks again everyone, you guys are the best!
Day 26 – UK – NFD
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I too am very impressed by your results and enthusiasm @daffodil2010. I just might give it a try next week as well. 😊
2nd post
So my possible FD turned into an OOCD after I ran into someone at a market who makes and sells alfajores (South American layered cookies), which is something I did for years as a teenager to make pocket money. Of course, I had to buy two of each flavour, and then try them all! I keep feeling like I should regret it, but I don’t. It was special! I mindfully ate and enjoyed every bite! Just get back into fasting tomorrow, absolutely no regrets.
Happy weekend all, may you all be blessed with similar moments of joy that take you back to your childhood.
Day 26 UK NFD
Many thanks to @debster251 for hosting the August challenge and hi to @basyjames. Please add me to the September challenge.
I also did a 2 day liquids only fast this week @daffodil2010, just to see if I could! I ate in the evening on Monday and had liquids only Tuesday and Wednesday and broke my fast on Thursday afternoon. So about 60 + hours I reckon. I did feel very hungry by the Thursday but was really determined to carry on. We are stronger than we think! My OH commented that he could never even go without breakfast far less last 2 days on liquids only! He who has been around the same slender weight all his life!
Going out for both lunch and dinner today… I think I will have to be added to the pocket winos list! Will try to be mindful..
Onwards and downwards to the end of August and looking forward to September.
Day26 UK NFD
It’s been a funny week, a couple of days I’ve not been sure whether they’re FDs or NFDs! I think I did an inadvertent b2b Tues and Weds! I usually fast on Mondays but this week we had afternoon tea on Monday. so I did FD Tuesday then sort of fasted on Weds as it’s my normal day. Then It didn’t feel right on Thursday that I wouldn’t be fasting again till Monday so that was control as well. Hey ho we’ll see what the dreaded scales say. My iPads been sent to hospital for a new screen and I’m really missing MFP and my Fitbit app – I’m keeping a calorie diary to keep me on track but it’s not the same. Pocket winos – we shared a bottle of red last night, first since Sunday. It did lead to mini cheddars I’m afraid! Still just under TDEE.
@basyjames count me in for September, can’t do this without you guys.
Yesterday was the debut of my new work clothes- nothing from anyone in work! I think we’re all too British and polite about it.
@babbledrop we got a charity bag through the door last week, I’m so attached to my pile of clothes I didn’t donate them.
Good luck everyone. Hope no one on the group has been affected by the hurricane Harvey in the US.
Have a great weekend.
Day 26 – Cumbria UK – NFD
Hope all our American friends are safe and sound 🤗
A successful liquid FD yesterday coming in under 200cal with skimmed milk in tea and a glass of homemade raspberry kefir late evening yesterday – plenty of water consumed! Will break my fast whenever I feel hungry today………..
Maintaining nicely as this morning – WEIGHT:54.2kg and BMI: 20.4 💃
Early post from me as a busy day ahead so need to up and out soon…….
Great job by all those seing the lbs/kg disappear and getting into this previously tight trousers………..
6 DAYS LEFT in this challenge counting today – still time to make a difference! Have a fab weekend everyone!!!
“LIFE is short. Break the RULES. Forgive QUICKLY, KISS slowly, LOVE truly, LAUGH uncontrollably, and NEVER REGRET anything that made you SMILE.
Hello day 26 co down ni maybe an 800 day?
As I still have no car I may not get up to my Dad’s so no liquorice all sorts and no m&s eccles cake. May keep all my calories for ribs and baked potato with a feta/avocado salad tonight?
I just love this group ❤. It is so rewarding reading about people grow in confidence to try different ways of making this a wol
Day 26 – Woking, UK – NFD
242.7lbs
So the 17st 4lbs is sticking so far, fingers crossed it lasts. Planning a good controlled weekend and lots of walking as the weather is supposed to be good. Went for my normal once a week massage today and my therapist commented on the fact I’ve lost weight from the waist area of my back and around my lower back.
Great to hear so many positive results from my fellow challengers.
Day 26…..Florida…….FD/CD
My prayers to those in the midst of mother natures rath…..
For those who do not know, I’m on the gulf side of Florida, so last night we experience some nasty thunderstorms. I’m positive they are outlining storms from in the gulf but the storm was so bad itbeat the hell out of my garden. I’m so afraid to go out, the OH says it’s not good. So, as long as the rain stays away looks like I’ll be out there most of the day.
Thanks to everyone especially @dykask that gave some science well the truth about what I heard on the news. It kills me how a news outlet can be so far from the truth and yet there are millions of people who believe what they hear because they have these so called experts saying so! Makes me wonder what else they are stretching the truth on!
Okay, well I’m off going to try and salvage my garden before we get more rain……
I was addicted to the hokey pokey then I turned myself around!
Day 26 – USA – NFD
Yesterday’s FD went very well…almost did a liquid fast, but wound up eating about 140 calories, the lowest so far on a FD. Maybe I’ll get there one of these days! Weigh-in 176.4, down .4 from last week and feel like I’m slooooowwwly getting down, but not quite to my goal of 173. Would love to break into the 60s by fall. @bert1802, sorry to hear about your garden; hope you can salvage some of your hard-earned crops. Congrats to all on dispatching pounds this month. Kids are back at school already here! Last week coming up, hard to believe!
Day 26 – UAE – FD (4th day of 9day b2bs fasting)
Day 25 – UAE – FD (3rd day of 9day b2bs fasting. 78.9kg, 0.4kg down from last week)
Day 24 – UAE – FD (2nd day of 9day b2bs fasting)
Day 23 – UAE – FD (1st day of 9day b2bs fasting)
I did not get a chance to read the posts in the last few days and go a lot of catching up..
My 9 days fasting is going well and I am nearly half way…
@coda, I don’t consider they way I am fasting is extreme as I got used to it now. two light meals a day one at 4am and I am breaking my fast at 7pm
@at I am not doing water only fast, it is a short of 5:2 FD with no water while I am fasting that is between 4am to 7pm.
@mia139, @debster251 and @keetseel Thank you. @keetseel I will try to check in dail.
@flourbaby: Thank you once again for the encouragement, I am doing this 9 days similar to my fasting in Ramadan, so no water for me. Apparently no water for me during the fasting hours for all the fasting that I do.
Day 26 – USA (Illinois) – NFD
Yesterday wasn’t exactly controlled, but not that terrible as it included exercise class. Yeah, so I expected a little gain. I can manage that.
Youngest DD is in Austin, TX, and just getting lots of rain. She is in a new house, so keeping as dry as possible. Winds haven’t been too bad as she is inland from the brunt of the storm.
Congratulations to all who are finding this WOL a good way to get control of your weight. Turtles are the ones who win according to Aesop!
Onward and downward!
Day 25 Lancaster, PA NFD
Yesterday’s FD went very well ✨This morning I weighed in at 151.3 lbs So not only did I make my goal of disintegrating 5lbs but I did away with 3.35 more lbs.😊 I had reached my month goal of losing 5 lbs. the end of the 2nd week this month✨
Busy day to day, I’m actually at the grocery store now. Can’t seem to get access to the spreadsheet to get the total amount eradicated this month. I will total it up later.☀️
I’m going to try to remember, in my case and in cases where people are close to their goal weight …. NFD’s are fairly close in calories to FD’s😊 In other words, I’m going to think of it as close to a FD and feed myself only nourishing food.✨😊 Still drinking water💦
Wishing everyone one Well and a Wonderful weekend✨
