Day 10 16:8 NFD/Melbourne Australia
@okeydokey and @metatauta wishing you a speedy recovery
@bert very impressive budgeting. It must give you enormous pleasure looking after your family’s health so successfully.
@ketseel my goal weight was set by Weight Watchers (I’m an unsuccessful Lifetime Member). It equates to a BMI of 22.7, 59kg, and was considered a realistic and sustainable weight! I still think of it as my goal weight but aim to maintain at 56kg, my happy weight.
@mogaman and @brightonbelle I love how IF fits into our lifestyle
@wolfiema, @mulville, @mari84, @dafodil2010 and @saffy420 congratulations on your progress
@newleaf do your clothes fit better? Have you taken your measurements? Sometimes our progress is not reflected on the scales. The health benefits are certainly worth it. If there aren’t signs of progress, perhaps you could take a look at your eating patterns on NFDs. How much and the type of foods consumed do matter.
@belfastsink congratulations on the birth of your new step grandchild.
@anna6 happy anniversary. @msraven happy belated 40th
@steve toon taxi driver LOL. Can’t say I fancy marmite flavoured pease pudding. Now if it was vegemite flavoured…
@songbirdme thank you for the link. What a beautiful day and dress.
@lindasue and @teagirl. I certainly know that wonderful feeling, hence my user name!
@rahul hugs
@awilson hope you’ve managed to fix your equipment.
@utahcougar I’ve banished ” I can’t have…” from my vocabulary instead I say “I can have … tomorrow” when tomorrow comes I usually don’t feel like it.
@krisnia I love small victories. They all add up!
@imenfrey I can relate to the effects of no routine. I’m working towards a new one. Till then baby steps
@xrox I find having a comforting drink or water helps with the hunger pangs. It does get better.
@pippet I love cooking on FDs. I really look forward to preparing a colourful tasty meal. I find it very relaxing. My OH eats the same. I just add extra carbs to his.
Adding to the discussion on Starvation Mode. A friend of mine worked for the United Nations in Africa during the 1980s famine crisis. She said it was a fallacy to say that people starved because they didn’t eat. They ate whatever they could find – grasses, leaves … anything to survive. What causes the effects of starvation is the lack of nutrition in what they could eat.
Pocket winos I’m still with you.
One day at a time…
