An over 40 with water retention hoping to lose more than water 😁

  • Afternoon peeps. I’m Claire I live in Milton Keynes and I’ve decided to give 5:2 another go.
    I tried it briefly after hearing Michael talk to Jeremy Vine about it on Radio 2. So I’m going to try again.
    I’ve been stopping and starting diets for the last few years and I can’t seam to get a grip on it plus what doesn’t help is I’ve developed pitting odema (water retention) in both legs but one foot can get quite bad in the warm weather (Im a nail technician so lots of sitting). I’m on water tablets for when it’s bad and I do aerobics and clubbersize but I need to do it more often.

    So here goes wish me luck as today is my 1st fasting day, so far only orange and lemon water with eating a couple of orange slices out of the glass and I’ve had 2 slices of ham with a thin spread of soft cheese.😆
