  • Hey all,
How is it!!?? I’m excited but a bit scared..
My first fast day will be this Sunday.
I am a 39 year old Mum of 3, I work full time (in a supermarket!!!) yep…. around food all day!!!

    Hi and welcome:

Here are some tips for those just starting: http://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/warnings-to-newbies/

    Good Luck!

    hi and welcome Mealies!

am sure you will have every success on 5.2, it takes a little while to get used to it, but as long as you plan your meals in advance, know your TDEE then everything else will follow 🙂

ps TDEE is the amount of cals you should eat during non fast days, top of the page under the how? section, a tool will calculate this for you!

let us know how your get on and good luck!

Thanks so much Angie090465 and simcoeluv,
I have done day one of fasting on Sunday… today is Tuesday and my next fast day is tomorrow.
It was positive and negative… I had a huge headacke and felt so tired in the evening on fast day.
I drank alot of liquid so unsure why that was…
But over all, did not feel that hungry and the book is right, the hunger pangs come and go quite quick without noticing.
I have alot of weight to lose and did weight myself last tuesday.
this tuesday I weigh 2.1kg lighter.
So I know it’s water but it’s a good start to keep me focused and I know next week may not be as good or even very slight…
    Postiive thinking.
and My TDEE is so much food!! I love it 😀
    Cheers,
and would love to keep in touch.
