Day 21 – USA/GA – FD
Weigh-in: 240 lbs. Bad storms at 1 a.m., power off an hour and a half, then again at 5:45 this morning, I guess to reconnect everyone else to the grid. Fortunately, came on at 6, so I didn’t have to completely get ready in the dark.

Good morning everyone Xxxx
Its a warm dry start here but some showers forecast later.. We do need some rain though as my 3 water tanks in the garden are empty . I honestly cant remember the last time that happened.
Tired this morning.. after two earlier walks then out for a good few hours .. 4 traffic set of work lights from the village to Buckingham Garden Centre ..
I am so pleased as I didn’t realise it was a bank holiday again this week. It will be just doing basics inside and out in the garden weather permitting. ” In my favourite world” lolol I have turned into my Mum lolol
I am a pound up this morning so not to bad .. I think just plenty of good old homemade veggie soup today.
Its a cheats version really .. A can diluted with a can of water then loads of veg and herbs. It saves messing about with stock/ I don’t blend it just leave it chunky
A S Nuts are very moreish and its a job not to take a couple of handfuls instead of the recommended handful lol
Do you take the bank holiday off work .
Dave.. You can do this ..but dont go too drastic cutting down as you will then eat for England.
I hope the Dentist went well and they were gentle.
H H .. Well done on going down in size .. a new wardrobe .. Your vintage top sounds lovely.
Sym.. Ohh what colour nails did you go for this time.. Well done on winning your games.
Have a lovely day everyone doing what makes you happy. The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” Xxxx
I’ve gained 1.5lbs so must start fasting again I think. Not done it for over a year. To many biscuits. Got to go to the dentist today for a filling so not looking forward to it. The last one I had the dentist was like the shower scene from psycho she must have stuck the needle in my gum 8 or 9 times. I couldn’t feel my lip until almost midnight and I had it done at 10am. Same time again today. Chloe didn’t eat her food until midnight yesterday maybe it’s the hour weather, can’t give her salad🤣. Might try a liquid fast today, the filling will help with that. Bowling today and the rest of the week. Won’t be playing today though but will Thursday and Friday.I better get a move on traffic is bad at this time of day.
Neil, I’m very sorry to learn your news but relieved that you’re under good care and will get it seen to safely. Look forward to hearing that you’re feeling much better.
Cinque you are so right that we have to navigate through lots of twists and turns – or in our case, locks and tunnels.Have a lovely time with Miss Ellie. How are they both?
Anzac, I somehow missed that you were going to MI for this upcoming break. Have a wonderful time. Fingers crossed for that house price dropping. It seems Mr A’s positive outlook has paid off – are most of the related issues from his bowel cancer behind him now?
@bartoninbklyn – the Fast Diet book is definitely worth a read. But I’m sure you can find everything you need to know about 5:2 on this site. I’d also recommend reading Jason Fung’s ‘The Obesity Code’. Michael Mosley’s ‘Eat, Fast and Live Longer’ documentary is also worth watching, in case you haven’t seen it. You may be able to see it for free via the dailmotion.com site. Although, I’m not sure if that’s the case in every country.
Day 21 – South Africa 🇿🇦 – NFD
@stitchincarol – nice pictures! I could only see two though, because I’m not on Facebook. I hope your rain stops soon & you can get back to moving your belongings. It really is eye-opening during a move to discover how much we accumulate?! And how many items we can’t let go of because, well, it might come in handy one day. Even if we haven’t actually laid eyes on it/them for months or years 😅
@merryapple – it’s cold here too! 13 C (feels like 10 C 🥶) 50 km/h winds. At least the rain has stopped & we’ve got some sun now. That’s a lovely picture of you in your shawl. My hands were very busy at the class yesterday. I grouted 12 coasters – a very messy job – & started working on 4 new ones. Handing them over to whoever buys them is going to be painful.
Gotta dash – Happy Hump Day! 🐫

Morning All ..
A lovely start again.. walking alone this morning not sure where yet…
Petanque was much better than last week, lost one and won two so we took the match.
Going for a pedi at noon change of polish for my holiday.
Dave..
We have so many rivers and canals around here, I do love my area better than in the city. It’s 24 years since I moved here.
Chloe is a little madam having to be fed by hand!
Hedgehog..
Well done getting into slimmer clothes such a motivation. Picking up a bargain too, I could do with a few strappy tops but can’t find any. You are getting the change of weather I think Saturday for us.
AutumnSky..
You seem to work very long hours, don’t forget a work life balance!
We love strawberry picking, fingers crossed when Katie and Charlotte come back with me, Charlotte enjoys it (11years old), they do afternoon tea with scones and strawberries so always nice to go.
Hemmy..
Hope your lunch went well yesterday..

Enjoy your break…

Up a wee bit but the trend is🔻slightly🤣
It’s cold 13*C, clear and sunny here. I haven’t turned any heaters on yet. It’s not winter!!! And perfect for warm jerseys!!
@stitchincarol That’s a lot of rain at once!! But I guess your part of the world is flat. Here it would create brand new streams down the hillsides!!
I wish you every success with your garage sale!! What a relief it will be when the house is empty!!
I took a bathroom mirror snapshot of my shawl for you
https://imgur.com/a/Qthux6h
That’s a great number @northgeorgia!!
Have a great day everyone!!
Neil, when I first read your previous post I started off thinking ‘Oh no, please don’t be blood clots’ and then when I got to the end it changed to ‘Oh no, please don’t be MND’ and I started hoping for blood clots, not realising how horrible and life changing they might be.
But yes, hooray that they know what they are and that they can treat them, and that you might get back to the good strong health you have been. All my fingers and toes crossed.
Life is a weird journey so full of twists and turns, we are doing well if we can just about keep up with them.
Anzac, SO disappointing about your new job. All power to you dealing with it. And big cheers for every thing you can find to do to avoid it undermining your health.
I can’t write more, off to mind the fabulous Ellie.
Cheers everyone
Hello everyone!!
Jean – Your summary of your family holidays and everyone meeting up is so lovely to read.
Hemmy – Believe or not, going to the garden centre and cruise hill many years ago, used to be our days out. We would spend the day around the sheds. Then we would grab something to eat and head to Capel manor, we would drive for hours. We also used to do strawberry picking which was awesome and we used to eat so much (that memory just came to me).
Hedgehog – It’s so hard to give up carbs, they are everywhere! I have tried to cut out a few things hear and there, but every now and then, I will crave a slice of bread. This morning for no reason, I had an inkling for pastry. I don’t really like pastry.
Brads27 – Well done on the 7,000 steps with Chloe! She is keeping you active.😉
Finished work late yesterday and today. But, happy to be home now. I have chicken pieces with rice noodles and corn niblets waiting for me. I also have a small packet of mixed nuts waiting for me. I have to be careful, as I tend to go overboard with the nuts.
Doing well with keeping track of calories.
Evening!
Hemmy- hope you’ve had a nice lunch out today & aren’t too tired! Son is better now, thank you.
Jean- shame about the kennels, I forgot Jacqui would have to go in half term…hope the Petanque was better today?!
Dave- did you look into the small claims court & what you have to do for that, if you don’t get any joy with the bank for your roof it might be worth a try? Glad Chloe is eating again, very spoilt! 🥰
Nana- enjoy your holiday, hope the weather holds…
AS- hope you’re still keeping strong at work!
Had a nice surprise today, tried a few old clothes on (from my ‘slimmer’ wardrobe), & quite a few fitted, so that’s good. Went to a garden centre, bought a new top in the vintage shop on site, & have bought some dwarf conifers to replace some box shrubs which have blight. We took them out this afternoon, but had to paint the shed which was behind them, so couldn’t get them planted…weather is supposed to change tomorrow so not sure when we’ll get them in.
Still fasting…
Played safe and bought Chloe a box of fish fingers but she was a little madam had to feed her by hand. Would have been alright in Roman times sat on in the sofa hand fed🤣. I’ve done 7000 steps already and Chloe’s only been out once to the park. My legs are aching and I feel tired. Ordered more paint for the front door Oxford Blue this time. I said to my neighbour the door will last much long than me with all the protective paint it’s had on it.I would love to walk down a river or a canal, they’re was a canal 100 yards from our house which crossed our street but they filled it all in😡.Denise and I walked down the canal at Marple and past all the locks. We used to get a train to Marple then walk down the canal to Romily.
Day 20 – Rural Nebraska, USA – CD or less – 154.6
Yesterday’s food was entirely reasonable, and I’ll do the same today. Packing is consuming most of the day and I’ll probably take a load down to the new house. DH has talked me into doing a garage sale on the 31st, and there’ll sure be lots of stuff at it; the challenge will be to deal with it at the end of the day when no one else wanted it! 😂
@merryapple Nice loss!
We’ve gotten a bit over five inches of rain in the last 36 hours or so, a welcome blessing since we’ve been dry for a year. It’s also welcome because it’s too wet to do anything outside, but there’s so much that needs doing, and I feel guilty for ignoring…but there’s no guilt when it’s so wet and I couldn’t even if I wanted to! 😂😂😂
Have a grand one, everyone!

Morning All..
Lovely river bank walk with Natalie and Oreo..she is away for a week now…
Petanque at 1.30 .. we are playing 11 people only one space left.. we seem to be getting busier. Hoping it’s better than last week it was a fiasco!!
Hemmy..
A long day yesterday for you, enjoy your lunch today.
Relaxing morning for me, just some veggies to cook for Charlie…

Neil I am so sorry to hear about the blood clots but I guess it’s good to know and also know that it is treatable. Try to stay positive. When Mr A had his health issues he had a mantra ‘positive and proactive’ and it really helped
Thin we stay at a nice apartment block in Nelly Bay which means we can walk from the ferry, walk to the supermarket and a few nice restaurants or catch a bus to Picnic Bay or Horseshoe bay where there are more restaurants and nice beaches. There is a house we have our eye on that is currently WAAAAYYYY over-priced but has dropped a bit lately. We would have to sell our house so we aren’t ready for that until at least when I turn 60 at the end of the year. The house has been for sale for 4 years so hopefully it won’t sell before then
Good morning everyone Xxxx
Its going to be a warm one today. Earlier walk again this morning. .
It will be a good lunch at the Garden centre today.. always tasty daily specials .. we can sit out in the gardens which will be lovely.
I am still tired from yesterdays with walking first.. 7 hrs out in all. I must make sure I don’t do consecutive social days out in future .
Dave.. How is Chloe today .. they are a bit like children can still eat treats when off their main food.
H H … Well done with your fasts .. How is your son … Yes I expect these fires are a worry for relatives of the brave fire brigade.
Sym.. what are your plans for today… working or relaxing.
Enjoy your day every one. Xxxx
“Happiness is not by chance, but by choice.”
Hi all
Well I got the answer. It’s not the worst case scenario, but right up there. My blood test came back with elevated levels, indicating blood clots. The doctor sent me to ED, and after a CT Scan, they found I have blood clots on my lungs. I’m going to be on blood thinners and it could take months to get back to where I was. The doctor said it might end up being a drug I have to take all my life.
Neil, I hope you get to the bottom of your issues soon. So, healthcare backlogs in NZ as well as Australia and England? You probably won’t take this advice but I always say try not to worry about anything until you’re given something to worry about. Worrying about a disease that you don’t have can only add to your distress.
Anzac, so sorry to hear that new job is causing you distress. The sooner you get up to Magnetic Island, the better! And as for paying salaries two weeks in arrears – sounds like typical banking to me. The money comes out of one account within a nano second but somehow lingers in the bank’s coffers for days before it gets where it’s going! Where are you going for your break?
Day 20 NZ NFD 68.8kg🔻
My focus today is making good choices at meal times so I can solidify my drop ie no extras!!
It’s cold and clear here so I’ll do a fast walk on my own today
@stitchincarol ❤️Loved seeing photos of your farewell and your church community gathered together for you and your DH. They must be so sad to see you both leave after 19 years… You have beautiful shiny hair!!
@jaifaim Welcome back!! We’re all still here!!
@northgeorgia 🤞for the bill vote for you. It must be so unsettling…

Great to hear your confidence!!
@funshipfreddie It’s your arty and dancey days coming up so your hands will not be idle!!
@lilymartin I love hearing about food tales from the tractor!! My cousins are farmers and I think the women run unofficial cafés catering for the farm workers making the best bacon n egg pies, roast lamb and chutney sandwiches etc etc
Onward and downwards!!
Hi all
I’ve been a bit quiet lately as I am really struggling with this new job. I am now being pressured to deliver but no-one can articulate what. I had a complete melt-down last week and had to take some time off. I am so used to being successful and making a difference so this is dreadful
Of course I have been eating too much but reined that in quite quickly before too much damage was done. This week is a little better I guess so I’ll take a small win. I must say it was nice to finally get paid after 3.5 months of no income. I had to work for 6 weeks before pay day as they pay monthly and two weeks in arrears
I fervently hope they can get to the bottom of your health issues Neil; I can only imagine how worried you and your family must be
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday Quacka. Can’t wait to hear all about it
We just booked a week away in June for Mr A’s 60th birthday and I can’t wait. Winter finally hit on Sunday and it is wet and cold so it will be nice to have a brief escape
I remember visiting the Mt Cook area Turn and it was spectacular. 1 degree is cold though! Congrats on breaking the 71’s
Oxford would be a lovely spot to stop for a while Thin. I hope the nice weather continues for you
Hi to everyone else, have a great day
Dave..
Let’s hope the roof is soon sorted ..
Hedgehog…
There’s only one kennels I would use, I wouldn’t go to any other…it’s school holidays that is the problem.
I need new decking and a new sofa so maybe it’s for the best, but not yet..
Well done on all the plants it’s hard work.

Evening!
Dave- enjoy the speedway, nice to go with your cousin…poor Denise, bad enough with her legs & then not to be able to get her prescription…I hope you hear from the bank about the roofers…
Jean- a shame about the cruise, surprised that the kennels are all booked in October! At least you have Tenerife to look forward to…
Hemmy- hope you had a nice day out today, & enjoy your lunch tomorrow! The fire was awful, so sad…the fire service is alot safer than it used to be but still a risk, makes me worry about youngest son even more 😢
Nana- well done losing last week & enjoy your holiday!
AS- well done losing another 2lbs, & being restrained at the party! I’ve given up sugar & carbs, they’re not good for me 😂
Had a lovely BBQ on Saturday, stuck to keto & didn’t eat too much. Had a lazy day yesterday, been very busy today instead- got all the bedding plants & have done lots of summer pots. Weather was good, only supposed to last one more day…Fasting today.
Have a good evening everyone!
They have an office in Oldham I think. I’ll see what happens, been extremely lucky with the weather hardly had a drop of rain. We won at bowls today I didn’t play because I was at the speedway the last time we played and up be there same this coming Monday so I will be dropped again. Wednesday I’ll not be playing but will on Thursday and Friday.Denise is missing 6 items from her prescription, can’t get them anywhere but they are selling them in Amazon.Joke.

Thanks for the reply, @funshipfreddie. I’m not trying to lose weight, I’m interested in fasting for its health benefits apart from that. I have a vague recollection of reading about them but am now interested in doing more research to refresh my recollection. I have been on a path of wellness, health, self-exploration and improvement for about 3 years and am always looking to add new things to my regimen. I thought I’d purchase the book “Fast Diet” and was also interested in “Fast Exercise,” which I assume discusses high intensity interval training (HIT) as referenced in the Fast Exercise forum, but I don’t use Amazon. If anyone knows of an alternative place they can be purchased, I’d love to hear. Otherwise, I’ll rely on the forums for questions and knowledge. Thank you!
Day 19 – Rural Nebraska, USA – CD at the least, and perhaps less – 156.0
I have never hugged/been hugged so many times in one day as I was yesterday. The service was packed, everyone sang beautifully (a detail that always matters to an organist, of course), and the dinner afterward was a lovely time of visiting with people. There were some who showed up who astonished me (mostly from our congregation before DH went to seminary), and they were delighted to have surprised me, LOL. Then we came home and DSIL and DS33 loaded in the truck the little dorm fridge that we’ve been storing for DD, and then took the little dresser my dad made for my sisters and me when we were children, and that will all go home to Indianapolis with them. We spent the rest of the day in Lincoln at our new house, and I made Salmon with Creole Mustard Sauce, Maui Onion Rice, and a salad of broccoli, diced apple and carrot matchsticks with a (full fat, LOL) yogurt dressing. So, yes, two dinners, and then we walked two blocks to the ice cream store, but my portion was TINY.
And Friday’s dinner was absolutely glorious (yeah, @funshipfreddie, the prices are prohibitive for going very often, but we were given a $150 gift certificate last December), but I again ate very little; Saturday’s dinner was fried chicken, mac and cheese, and cole slaw (all purchased ready-prepared) but, again, I did eat large portions, and that was ALL I ate on Saturday. So being up roughly four pounds since my WF last Thursday has me puzzled. My best guess is that I’m up a bit because I’m no longer “empty” as I was on Friday morning, and I was up each morning because I ate so late in the evening all three evenings. Suppose?
So now the challenge is to figure out how to do 5-2 without the distraction of teaching piano lessons twice a week, making WFs easy–I don’t resume lessons until mid-June. It’s weird to consider doing a FD today since I’ve been doing Tues/Thur for so many years now, but it’s also logical since it’ll be a nice break from the full meals of the last three days. I’ll figure it out later.
I spent about five hours on Saturday unloading what I’d packed in my car, and putting away what had previously been taken to the house–it was absolutely tidy by the time I was done. (And then DD and her family arrived from Indianapolis around four o’clock, as they’d left at 5:15 that morning–that was the BEST part of the day! 😍😍😍😍😍) All told, I was up and down the stairs at the house about ten times on Friday and Saturday and Sunday, and my fitbit says I burned 2,000 calories or more on each of the three days. So, my activity plan for today is to be as busy as possible–which is not tough, given how much there is to pack up. Oh, and we have a moving date: on Thursday, May 29, a moving company will come to move our piano, a safe, and all the big, heavy furniture.
I just spent some time looking at the Facebook post from church of the service and of the dinner afterward, and decided this is as good a time as any to show pictures. So, here: https://www.facebook.com/stmatthewchurchcedarbluffs
Okay, some tidying is in order and then to start today’s packing effort. Have a grand one, everyone!

Day 19 – USA/GA – FD
Weigh-in: 242 lbs. Yeah, yesterday was disastrous. Lots of food and sweet baked goods. I went off the rails with much larger portions than what was reasonable, and leftovers to boot. I craved some more of that delicious super sweet stuff in the evening, which toppled any maintenance I could have pulled off. Got to refocus for the rest of the week before the time off next week. Might be my last vacation at the company, as the bill that eliminates our department goes to the House for a vote this week. Hopefully, there will be a lot of modifications to the bill that will save most of the program. It’s hard not to stay stressed out.

Day 19-No.VA USA-NFD
I am still here! Enjoying some lovely weather, puttering in the garden this weekend; had a dance recital to attend on Saturday out of town. It was amazing the energy of the girls (no boys this year for some reason). We attend due to young relative involved. Troupe is not that good, but I really feel the teaching is the problem; certainly the students have the potential. But anyway, all was good till the drive home, with some pretty bad traffic to contend with; unfortunately a problem here in Northern VA and near DC, as I am sure @ccco would attest to.
I hope everyone is well; it seems everyone is busy!
Off to work today! Not retired yet!
Day 19…..UK…..FD
Looking forward to today’s FD, routine is definitely working – although I do have a couple of non-usual weeks coming up with trips away and people over so will likely need to adjust my FDs around all of that. Planning and check-ins here is key – the checking in really works.
I do log on on my phone over weekends and read your updates, I’m rubbish at posting though on phone so tend not to – thank you to those of you who do post at the WE as it certainly helps.
Considering starting some form of exercise – find the getting started bit the hardest, what do you all do to make yourself take that first step?
Have a fab Monday all 🙂

@iona72 I’m hooked on Waffle too… esp bad once I realised you can retry for the perfect solution…
What is RW&P??
We had a day of great rugby and rugby league here on Saturday. Black Ferns vs Canada was a tough exciting game ending in a 27 all draw…
Have a good day everyone!!
Hi again, @bartoninbklyn. That’s great for you, if you can just keep up the habit, then fasting should be easy for you long-term. Are you trying to lose weight, or are you already at your goal-weight? I’ve been maintaining for several years; 5:2-ing for about 11 years.
Interesting question as to whether the benefits are primarily physical or emotional. I think it’s different for everyone, & would maybe depend on a few things, e.g. a person’s age & physical condition when they started. Some people do report feeling a kind of euphoria on fast days, similar to the kind people on very low-carb diets experience when their bodies start burning ketones. Or they just mention enjoying the ’empty’ feeling. Personally, I like the ‘morning after’ feeling of accomplishment I get after a fast day. Waking up without hunger, but knowing another fast day is behind me. Many people experience that. On the monthly challenges we describe it as PFDS (post fast-day smugness). Incidentally, the monthly challenges have been going on for several years, & anyone can join. It’s just a group of people from around the globe encouraging/supporting each other to reach their goals, or to maintain. Here’s a link to the current challenge if you’re interested:-

Afternoon all
Well things seem to be getting worse. my ECG and bloods came back normal, the lung functions test suggests I may have mild asthma, but it doesn’t explain the fatigue and lack of muscle strength I’ve been experiencing, which has gotten worse over the last week. I didn’t take my bike at all this morning because when I woke up my legs just had no strength in them. I have a sore calf as well, which the doctor suggested may be a blood clot, so he has put me on injections to treat it as if I do have it, and I will get a blood test tomorrow to rule out/confirm a clot. I’m waiting on the chest x-ray, but apparently there is a backlog at the hospital at the moment. I’m really hoping they find out what is wrong soon. There’s one possible diagnosis that I’m really hoping it doesn’t turn out to be. Failing muscle strength and difficulty breathing can be a sign of MND.
Day 19 CD country west Australia
Was going to be a FD today but DH had made me toast with Vegemite ( 1/2 slice but still…) when I got back from my walk so think that would put me over 500 already so will do FD tomorrow .
@iona72,I find checking in for accountability is always really helpful.
I haven’t done Waffle and what is RW&P ?
@stitchincarol, I hope everything went well for the service etc and your moving. Trust your back is on the mend.
Thank you for so generously sharing why you ceased being a vegetarian. It was kind of your , given the circumstances.🙂
@northgeorgia, sending lots of RESOLVE for the potluck dinner. 🤞
@funshipfreddie, Yes, yesterday wasn’t my finest attempt but better today getting it in 3. I also got Connections and Tiles done ‘perfectly’ apparently !! so feeling my brain exercises going well today.😁
I am curious as to where everybody has gone. Whether they are taking a break form 5:2; whether they find our posts too long to read? Not talking bout 5:2 WOL enough? 🤔🤔
Anyway, I am pleased to back on the wagon and slowly edging down and making better food choices for health, fitness and weight loss.
Have a good Monday everyone.🙃
Day 18 NE England
Quick check in to keep me accountable!
Love Wordle every morning and Waffle @penz got me hooked on -along with RW&P today!!
Had a day out at Tots Festival, great fun but very chilly. Kids loved it! Watching PGA golf now with a G&T must get back on track!!
Evening everyone!
It was a great day yesterday. Did not overeat, and did manage to have a few things here and there. Woke up this morning a little puffy, as the food was very salty and I did have a lot more starchy food than I usually do.
Brads27 – Good to know the Denise’s leg is getting better. Agree about the banks we had quite a few in our area but it’s all online banking now. I have so many pin numbers and logins, which ‘I’m a little fed up with, as I have to remember so many different ones, not to mention email addresses. I know what’s it’s like to over eat. Maybe prepare meals for a few days to get you back on track.🙂
Hemmy – I read about the fire and the loss of lives. Very sad situation.
Will done on abstaining from the wine and for reaching the point where it’s no longer a thought.
Jean – You must be so excited about going on holiday. It may be hot enough here by then for it to be as hot as abroad.
Hope everyone is having a good day.
Grrrr, lost a post, that hasn’t happened for a long time. OH’s phone (and our signal) went dead just as I hit ‘submit’. Briefly then:
Turn, congratulations on the continuing weight loss and yes to the V-E Day celebrations as we’re in Braunston, a small village and mecca for narrowboats. Right up my alley. A community cafe run by elder volunteers surprised everyone on the day by not giving a bill to anyone who ordered food and drink! We missed that one sadly.
Passed a boater with a cocker spaniel and five x five week old puppies on board yesterday. He hopes to re-home them for £800 each.
Cinque, glad the sun is poking through the tree. Yes, we’re heading south at a snail’s pace towards Oxford. Very relaxing, there are fluffy moorhen chicks, goslings, cygnets and ducklings. I’ve seen a calf and a lamb moments after birth. And watched the cow eat its afterbirth which was a bit gross.
It doesn’t feel like Sunday but I know it is because I’m fasting, almost completed now.
Hi @funshipfreddie, thanks for the reply. That’s good to hear. It’s funny but I don’t miss food or get hungry after eating my bowl of oatmeal in the morning. I felt different emotionally when I started fasting after my fast day, hard to put into words but it was definitely a positive, not negative change. Now, not so much of a difference. Maybe one gets used to it, and the benefits are more subtle. I’m curious, do you find fasting has primarily physiological, or physical benefits or is there a mental and/or emotional component to it as well?
Yes must start cutting down. Door painted again but still different look right. It’s had a coat of Duplux protective paint and two coats of Ronseal so I don’t think it will rot any time soon. Will try a third coat of Ronseal and if that’s dosent work I’ll buy normal paint.
Afternoon All..
Cool day here…
I have been writing lots of birthday cards for the year and doing money envelopes then wrapping in Xmas paper… already for Katie to take home to Texas… still it’s a big lump of my Xmas presents!
Less than three weeks to holidays… hoping everyone gets there without delays. There will be 9 coming from Texas and me… 5 will depart back to Texas after the first week..
Dave..
Like you have been on an eating spree for a couple of days, I do think it makes you more hungry the more you eat. Snack today back fasting tomorrow.
Enjoy your pie tonight..
