    Good morning everyone. xxxx

It looks to be a lovely day again.. Earlier walk for us today.

I am pleased with the mornings weigh in.. just under goal weight. Its so funny and I have said before as soon as I stop wine my appetite decreases.. Its like people that have stopped smoking want a cigarette after drinking.

    Day 60 no alc

Nana .. hope you are having a good week.

Dave.. I bet it will be lovely to start bowling again especially if this weather continues. Enjoy your Chicken casserole later.

H H .. Are you taking any supplements for your aches.. Those stuffed chicken breasts sounded yummy.

Sym.. Have a lovely weekend .. anything planned. I think I might do my grass earlier this year the weather looks settled. Maybe while Kristy’s taking Pip out.

Have a lovely weekend everyone… I am on holiday now till Sunday evening see you then

Seize the day and enjoy it. Xxxx

Good morning everyone got to go to the bowling club today and have a tidy up. The season starts in a fortnight so we get things neat and tidy.Chicken casserole for tea tonight. Only had one meal each day this week so hopefully it will show when I next get weighed. I like this time of year when all the buds open up and the trees will be green instead of bare.Looks like it will be another good day weather wise.

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

GDSA, I empathise with your frustration at the lack of reasonably priced, decent, healthy food when away from home. I’d have taken that salad back too. Do you and Miss GDSA share plates of food? That’s what my DD and I do, but OH has a fear of missing out so he’s not really receptive to that.

    Evening!
Glad everyone is okay & enjoying the lovely weather!
Yesterday was busy, we did the shopping, & did some cooking. Dropped shopping off to Mum, then later did her a dinner, took that round but she couldn’t hear the door bell! Sneaked in & left it inside, went home & rang her, she heard that in the end! She won’t wear her hearing aids & has the TV so loud… Did some cleaning as well, done less today, very achy…had a long walk with Xena, we went out to a village by the river, watched the boats for a bit. Youngest son came tonight, tried a new recipe – chicken stuffed with roast peppers & mozzarella, mixed reviews! I just had the one meal today, hope the scales are okay!

Hemmy the roofers are about 15 miles away from me.I think it’s been passed on to trading standards.i have to send a letter or email to the roofers, they then have 2 weeks to reply. I have a case number to quote to citizens advice if they don’t get in touch. I’ll do it all tomorrow. Day 4 with no bread, it’s been difficult today but done it.

    Day 20, second post

An update: And just like that, everything has again changed. I had just suggested to DH that we simply spend the night in a hotel in Omaha, since I was driving in to teach lessons anyway, when the president of the congregation called and said,

    1. We need to cancel Sunday’s service already, because there are over 50 power poles down leading into town, and there’s zero possibility power will be restored by Sunday–and possibly not until Monday or Tuesday or even later.

    2. The congregation was sending us to a hotel for safety and comfort.

So we’re in Omaha. It is normally a 30 minute drive from home to this hotel, but there were so many closed roads that we had to drive all the way south to Lincoln to get on the interstate and drive northeast to Omaha, and that took us 1:40. This is a storm that will go down in the record books. And, OH, but that shower felt glorious, LOL!

and @ccco, just for the record, it never got below 20, and today is up to 47, so at least we don’t have to worry about frozen pipes or anything. Our fridge and freezer, however? Only time will tell.

So now to choose restaurants wisely! πŸ˜‰

Yesterday turned into a CD! You are very right FUNSHIPFREDDIE! One day turns into another and then another. I don’t have the kind of will power that lets me turn FDs on an off. They will just stay off! πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Stitchincarol, I know how difficult it is to be without electricity and heat. I have been there. Being in that situation in the Winter and in your part of the country is even more difficult. We get cold here but our weather is nothing like yours. I hope the power comes back real soon! Also, it is wonderful about the house. πŸ‘πŸ»

I am so glad that Spring starts today. Spring and Summer are my seasons!

    Have a great day, everyone!

  • Fat Busting Brits!!

Got the car back all ok so that’s a blessing, lovely weather today 18Β°C hotter than Cyprus. Shorts will be out soon at this rate. Walked a couple of miles already today taking the car and picking it up. Chloe wasn’t impressed,I had to pull her all the way. She would happily sleep for 24 hours.

  • Fat Busting Brits!!

I’ve contacted citizens advice about the roof, had to phone the consumers department, they have sent me a template letter to send to the roofers. And said they will also pass on my complaint to trading standards. So once I get my car back I’ll look into sending the roofers the letter, they said I’d I don’t get a reply after a fortnight to get back in touch with CAB I have a reference number for my case. So wish me luck with it. 🀞🀞🀞

Day 2/21 hours of no power. I’m thankful for our gas stove, and wishful for a way to light our gas oven; what do people do with electric stoves?!? The house is now down to 50 degrees; the furnace mystery is because it’s a high efficiency furnace with an electric ignition, rather than an older style with a pilot light. I went out to the car last night and started the engine–with the door open!–and charged our phones (and enjoyed the heated seats). Did I say there are 30,000 without power?

I’ll sure celebrate when the power comes back on!

@stitchincarol – congratulations! πŸ₯³ πŸŽ‰ 🎊 That’s awesome news! You must be ecstatic to have found the ideal place so quickly 🏑

@ccco – it depends on what you mean by ‘a break’. It’s a slippery slope! Like exercising or going to the gym. Skipping one day can turn into one week; then before you know it, it’s become 6 months & several extra kilos! I’d rather stick to my FDs. It’s our over-worked digestive systems that need the break.

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

Hi all, writing this on word and then copy and paste so if it doesn’t post or disappears, I can salvage – long post alert.

Miss GDay and I were away for 6 days last week attending the Fringe festival in Adelaide. We’ve had this planned since we were in Adelaide overnight for a medical appointment last year at Fringe time, although we didn’t attend any shows then, we had a great time wandering around the Garden of Unearthly Delights and Gluttony as well as watching the street performers and the β€˜buzz’ around the CBD.

We’ve been saving for the last 12 months to ensure we could afford to attend as many different shows as possible and make the most of our 6 days. We had an absolute brilliant time and saw so many amazing shows – comedy, cabaret, French jazz music, light and laser shows, audience participation shows, escape rooms, art exhibitions, a lot of different musical performances, organ recital in a huge church, a sΓ©ance, a simulated plane crash in a shipping container and so much more.

We averaged around 30,000 steps per day was and on the go from 8am till 1am every day. Most nights I was still buzzing when we got back to the room, so it took awhile to wind down and therefore only managed to get a couple of hours sleep – it was exhausting but so much fun.

We had to walk past the ice cream shop every day to get to the fringe areas so of course we had one every day – chocolate for Miss GDay and I tried a different new variety each day instead of my usual boysenberry or pistachio. We did limit ourselves by having just a single scoop instead of a double scoop which is what we normally would have. Surprisingly, I came back 0.2 kg lighter than when we left, have also dropped 0.9 kg in the 5 days since we have been back. I think the near 40-degree temperatures every single day also contributed to no weight gain, we returned to our room every day around 4pm to shower and change into fresh clothes.

Meal portion sizes at eateries were ridiculously huge and the prices were huge too, we were lucky if we could finish half of what was on our plates but from what I observed most people had no issues devouring the lot. Thin, no options here for small adult servings or even kids servings. I was also struck by how much food people put into their mouths at once, I don’t know how they can chew and swallow such a huge chunk of food in one go. At the fringe the portion sizes were the opposite – small sizes but again huge prices. A small portion of hot chips was $15 plus $2 for a squirt of tomato sauce. But that’s the nature of these types of events so it wasn’t unexpected.

I struggled to find healthy food at eateries and at fringe venues, everything was either deep fried, laden with rich sauces or made from bad carbs. I was unable to find a simple salad or a healthy vegie dish anywhere. I thought I was going to have a win when I found and ordered a haloumi salad at one restaurant however when the meal arrived the salad was dripping with a horrible tasting oil, so much in fact the bottom of the bowl contained a sea of oil. The haloumi had been crumbed and deep fried (yuk) and badly deep fried at that. It was pale fried and when I touched the coating with my cutlery the oil literally poured out of it. I ate one small piece of haloumi and a few mouthfuls of salad, and I honestly couldn’t eat anymore – it was foul. Feeling totally annoyed at being slugged $35 for a horrible meal, I promptly took my bowl up to the counter, pointed out the sea and stream of oil and asked for my money back which they reluctantly did after offering to do the meal again which I declined. It was bliss to come home and eat a simple home cooked meal.

Quacka congratulations on your ongoing downward trend, slow and steady wins the race as they say.
Anzac not keeping appointments and promises seems to be a sign of the times nowadays. I recently waited 9 weeks for a tradesman to do a job, when I first rang, he promised to turn up the following Monday but no show. I rang again the following week and received the same promise but again no show. I waited a few more weeks, rang again and he did turn up for a total of 3 mins just to inspect the job (he really didn’t need to, it was a simple job) and promised to come back the following Tuesday but again no show. 9 weeks after my initial phone call I’d had enough so rang another company who did turn up as promised, 3 days later and completed the job. I seriously wonder how some people are still in business.

Neil the rollercoaster ride is so frustrating. Perhaps time to re-evaluate and change tack with a different eating pattern or a re-jig of foods.

I’ve suffered for years with stuffy sinus with no relief no matter what I try. After being in Adelaide for a week, I guess with the heavy traffic fumes etc it’s been really bad. I’m going to go dairy free for awhile to see if that has any impact. I still have some yoghurt and feta to use up first but once they are gone, I won’t buy any more and will see what happens over the course of a month. Apparently, my home-made milk kefir will still be okay to consume as it’s a ferment and doesn’t have the same supposedly inflammatory effect as dairy. I do love my organic full fat dairy and it would be sad to give it up completely but I just can’t deal with the stuffy sinus anymore and I can’t find any other cause so I have to give the dairy elimination a go.

Must dash, I did realise how late it was.

Good morning everyone up early, car as to be in at 8am. Why they do it in the middle of the night is beyond me. I’ll put Chloe in the boot and she can have a nice walk back home. Morning All..
A lovely day very chilly I might have a slow start and then down grade my coat.

No fasting today as I have Jacqui coming after school, so I have made coconut and oat cookies and cooking a chicken I shall do salad as she is cooking back.

    Dave..
I think the cows will be out by the end of the month, especially now the weather is getting warmer. The large pond type lake is almost dry they will need water. Hope your cars ok on MOT.

    Hemmy..
Well done cleaning the carpet ready for the better weather. I am very picky eater..as you say, I cooked for my men/visitors but not for me, back to childhood favourites!!

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

    Good Morning

Thanks thin x Love your “small adult” comment πŸ™‚
I sometimes find meals out too big also, and strangely enough it’s when I order veggies with the food instead of chips and salad. I love salad but try to avoid eating too many chips as they make me feel sick so I usually order veggies instead, but then the veggies are so yummy that I eat all of them AND the schnitzel or whatever I ordered as the main. Oh dear ha ha

Neil, just keep going. Your body is just having a little moment but it will sort itself out and you weight will head down again. How’s the kms going for your challenge? I’m at 80kms for March and I am only counting actual kms spent exercising (walking, golf etc). If went off my actual steps for the day I would be around double my goal.

Well I’m very happy this morning as I made it into the 74’s!!!!! 74.8kg.

***Quacka does a little dance and jumps for joy***

Have a great weekend all xx

Another beautiful warm day.. lovely walking without a coat.

Before walking I shampooed my lounge carpet.. it always gets grubby at this time of year after the winter. Dried well in the sun coming through the windows.
Its nice too giving the heating a break lol.
I am making do today with food as its shopping tomorrow. .. Yesterday I threw away leeks and carrots.. I must use more things up. So a cheese and bacon omelette and baked beans.

H H lolol you are spot on I am faddy awful as a child.. my gran was always telling Mum off saying I should eat what I was given lolol Luckily Dad was faddy too so It was ok for me to get away with it . . lol
I had got better with the men in my life but left to my own devices now I have reverted back lol.

Lovely that your Mum enjoyed the talk ..something different for her. ..
Well done not having cake with your tea out.

Dave.. Well done with no bread that should make a big difference to the scales.
My neighbour a male fisherman has lost 2 stone .. he has a smaller dinner plate.. and cut out a lot of carbs .he has lost 2 stone quite quickly. .

Sym.. A busy week for you getting your jobs done and well done on winning your games yesterday ..
Your holiday will soon come around now.. something to look forward to.

Nana.. are you out and about today .. lovely weather for giving Geraldine a spine.

Day 19 – blizzard in Nebraska -nfd

Well, phooey. The electricity went off around 7:30 this morning, so there was no point in staying in bed to read because my electric blanket went off. So I got dressed and came out to turn up the furnace, but it isn’t kicking on. Gas furnaces are not reliant on electricity, so I don’t know what’s up with that. So I went to make coffee. Except I have an electric coffee pot. Feeling very clever, I lit the gas stove with a match (since the ignition is electrical) and put water on to boil for French press… but realised all my coffee is whole bean and I no longer have a manual grinder, only an electrical one. Grrr… I’ll have tea, although it’s no substitute for coffee. We are supposed to get six inches or more. We are so reliant on electricity for the basic details of life!

On Monday? It was 81 degrees.

    But. WE GOT THE HOUSE!!πŸ₯°πŸ₯³πŸ™Œ

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

Quacka, please hog away. I’ve enjoyed having you back and reading of your success. Sorry I can’t fast with you, I’m forever stuck on Sundays although the last few weeks were all over the place. I did manage 1 FD per week while away and now I’m on Saturdays while we attend two consecutive Sunday roast lunches. Last Sunday, I overate for the first time in a very long time and it was a truly horrible feeling. And a nasty 500g shock to the scales. This week, I’ll be ordering the ‘small adult plate’ option. Because I am a small adult, he he.

Perth can be unbearably hot. We didn’t experience any 40C+ temps this time. Yes, we’re back on board, Anzac. Awful jet lag, we were wide awake at 1.30am for two days, then 4.30am for the rest of the week. The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it’s forecast for 14C today – while probably sounds chilly to all of you but yesterday I sat outside and read a book.

Neil, that’s too bad. Next week will be better. Hang in there.

Anzac, how frustrating for you and how rude of those people not to call when promised. But the decluttering sounds marvellous. Shedding weight and shedding possessions are two of my favourite things. It will be so helpful when you eventually come to move on. We had a chance to become reacquainted with some of our ‘stuff’ in the Perth storage locker. Much of it comprises artefacts, rugs and paintings acquired on our travels that will give us pleasure into our dotage once we get a land base. But there was also a lot of stuff we could have done without. DD and I were taking trunkfuls to charity shops, OH couldn’t part with anything. He would empty a box, examine the contents and then pile it all back in. Although DD and I rid ourselves of six moving boxes, the storage fee at the new facility remained unchanged because it had already been assessed for shipping at that point. But it’s still less than half the rent of the old place and I’m happy that the three of us own less than 10cu/metres of crap.

Cinque, that’s good that you’re all safe on the electrical front. What is a ‘sort of fast’?

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

    Afternoon all

Weigh in today and I’m back up the half kilo I lost last week <sigh> the rollercoaster continues.

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

    Hi everyone

Glad to hear you were fasting with me yesterday Cinque x Hope all your electrical stuff is ok now.

I’m on a B2B today. It’s midday and feeling a bit hungry but I’m very busy at work so that will hopefully make it go a bit easier.

Yesterday’s FD went well so maybe, just maybe I’ll break into the 74’s tomorrow.

Feel like I’m hogging the chat at the moment so I’ll sign off and report back (briefly) with my weight tomorrow.

    Have a great day πŸ™‚

    Day 18 – USA – CD

Today is a CD for me, with delicious green salads and calories below 800. I’m catching up on reading everyone’s posts.

@funshipfreddie – I love perfect FDs when the time comes to eat, yet I’m not interested in eating. A perfect opportunity to extend a fast!

@excelsior12309 – I hope your FD800 is going well! On those days, I usually enjoy two massive salads that are comprised of 80% leafy greens like kale, Swiss chard, spinach, dandelion greens, arugula, and mixed field greens. I include a few of ounces of turkey or chicken, lots of additional veggies, and a little C-8 oil.

@northgeorgia – I know what you mean about looking forward to a particular food for a long time, and then experiencing disappointment when you finally eat it! Fortunately, the food is sometimes even better than remembered!

@ccco – I hope you enjoyed spending time with your daughter’s little dog. What breed is he?

@stitchincarol – That’s great news about finding the house you want! I hope your offer is/was accepted!

@iona72 – Your aviation meteorology background sounds interesting. I also worked in that specialized field for years. My favorite meteorology discipline, however, is tropical meteorology. πŸ˜€

Best wishes to all for a great day/night!

    Kind regards,

All of my siblings and I look just like my father! It’s amazing. Also, have a great time on your adventure around Cork.

Excelsior12309, I love the story about Henry. I think I would have liked your mother! She sounds fun! As for the dog sitting, it is fun for me to enjoy the little guy’s company from time to time! I am sure that is true for you, too.

Northgeorgia, have fun on the beach! I know what you mean about the Atlanta airport. I have been there. As a hub airport, it is hugely overcrowded. I am glad you have a different airport you can go to.

We’re on pins and needles waiting to see if the seller accepts, counters or rejects our offer. She has until this afternoon. @ccco Actually, DH and I will primarily “live” in the upstairs part, which is the open space I described and two bedrooms, and at 1400 square feet, it doesn’t seem at all large. The basement space is for when we entertain, and for when our daughter and her family visit us from Indianapolis. And, DH will have an office there, and my sewing room will be down there. So, yeah, we’ll “live” downstairs a bit, but our primary space is actually smallish. And, FUNNY store about your grandson!

@northgeorgia Have a grand time on your vacation; I hope you come back totally relaxed and restored, ready to face your work challenges!

I’m still coughing a fair amount, but it’s not the awful convulsions I was experiencing last week, so it appears I’m slowly recovering. And, it gives me confidence I can do a WF today with no worries, so that will be lovely.

    Have a grand one, everyone!

    Day 18 – USA/GA – NFD

Weigh-in: 237 lbs. @jaifaim Enjoy your journey through Ireland! Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes on my trip, too! About six hours before my mom takes me to the airport shuttle pickup site — so nice we finally have one close by; the airport (ATL: world’s busiest) is about hour and a half away and is a nightmare to drive to). I am a little sad because the last time I took a plane, my dad insisted on driving me to the airport. I had no idea we would lose him a few weeks later to sudden onset leukemia. Still, even though he never got on a plane himself, I will imagine him enjoying the beaches and parks with me on this trip.

I’m hoping all goes well and I have a week of relaxation. For all of you, I hope you have a successful week of fasting! I will see you in about a week and a day πŸ™‚

Well, just bumbling along through not-mindful March…
@northgeorgia, have a great trip. Happy Trails, as Roy Rogers would say!
@ccco, I dog-sit my daughter’s little dog from time to time. A very amusing animal. And, similar to your leprechaun story, my mother used to tell us she was part Irish (in spirit only, though, it turned out.) She had a “life-sized” stuffed leprechaun named Henry who used to show up around St. Patrick’s Day.
@stitchincarol, best of luck with the house! It sounds very luxurious!
@funshipfreddie, your price of eggs is a distant memory here…I read that our fair government is trying to buy eggs “on the QT” as we would say, not publicizing it, from….Mexico and Denmark…hmmm. Strange times here.
    Have a good day, all.

    Day 18 – Ireland – NFD 🚫 βœ… πŸšΆπŸ½β€β™€οΈ 🌾

Hi all, sporadic checking in from me as I am travelling on the south west coast of Ireland and heading to the West later today.

We have had a beautiful St Patrick’s weekend here ☘️ lots of hikes and a little cycling in beautiful West Cork and Kerry countryside.

@ccco – so funny! And I wonder did his Great Granddad really look like a leprechaun – possibly he did 🀣. So funny to think about how they see you through their little eyes 🀣 They are so very cute at that age πŸ’•πŸ’• . Enjoy it all.

@stitchincarol good luck with the house! I do hope it all works out- it sounds amazing.

I hope everyone else is well – dashing now as the car is packed up and off we go πŸ‘

    Onward and downward ⬇️

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

    Hello everyone,
Anzac, is no news bad news? Sigh. But cheers for using your frustrating time decluttering instead of eating packets of timtams (unless you are doing both πŸ˜‰ )

I’ve got electricians here doing a safety check (Dept of housing flat) who have just said they are going to fix a couple of things which means the power will go off for a bit. So I will finish this, but just say Quacka I am sort of fasting with you and wholly cheering you on!

    Bye!

    Day 17 ☘️NE England IF 16:8

Hello everyone, not much going on here, staying steady despite straying from the healthy eating plan here and there. Must get back on track if I’m to hit my March goal.

@icystorm you have an interesting job, I worked in Aviation Meteorology so also have a keen interest in all things weather related, especially clouds 🌧️

Hope all goes well with the house @stitchincarol

I feel very lucky with the price of eggs here – about Β£3 ($4) for a dozen free range large eggsπŸ‘πŸΌ

  • Hello Southern Hemispherites!!

    Good Morning everyone

It’s Tuesday FD today so that means I will be doing a B2B again this week. No worries, I know I can do this!

Anzac, so horrible to be waiting all day for promised calls. I hope they did eventually ring and if not, well they are missing out (on you!). Hope it all works out soon for you x

Hi thin, thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I made it into the 75’s last week. 75.6kg. I’m hoping for the 74s this week but I will be happy to be lower in the 75s too. I’m heading in the right direction and that’s what matters most to me. Slow and steady is ok because I didn’t put on weight over night so I can’t expect to lose it over night either!!
I remember the heat in Perth when we visited a couple of years ago. We were staying with our friends, they have a pool but it wasn’t that refreshing actually. The water was so warm. The wife loved the warm water but everyone wanted it cooler so the husband “forgot” to put the cover on some nights which made the water a much nicer temp the next day. It did cost them in water though due to evaporation.

Hope everyone has a great day. xx
Is anyone fasting with me today? Wouldn’t mind a buddy πŸ™‚

  • Fat Busting Brits!!

I’m hungry now only had a biscuit and drinks. Going to speedway soon so no time to eat. I’ll have something when I get home. I think small claims would cost me Β£750, I’ve contacted cab on WhatsApp and they did a lot of statements about privacy so see what happens tomorrow.

Another FD, so I thought I would again sign onto the pocket list. I hope everyone has a happy St. Patrick’s Day! I will be having multiple walks this week, as I am babysitting my daughter’s little dog. It’s Spring break and she’s good company. I am glad for her companionship.

Jaifaim, I thought you would appreciate this amusing story. My grandson is almost 6 years old and knows that his great grandfather (my father) came to the States from Ireland, so he had a story to tell his classmates. He told them that his great grandfather was a leprechaun and that his grandmother (me) is half a leprechaun (my mother is not Irish)!!! LOL It is very funny what little ones will say, so I went out and bought a boy leprechaun for him and a girl leprechaun for his 3 year old sister to enjoy. Hopefully, they will take note that I don’t look like those toys!! ☘️

Northgeorgia, I am glad you missed out on that weather. We were supposed to have bad weather, too, but it never materialized! Thank goodness. Today is lovely!

Stitchincarol, LOL! You and I must have a different idea of downsizing! That house sounds huge! When I downsized, I moved into a good size townhouse. I made it clear to my children, though, that I will not ever leave this place until the end of my days. My remaining siblings, I believe, think that I should be in an old folks home!! LOL. I may be half way through my 70s but I am am not done yet!
I hope you find the perfect retirement home.

Have a great day, everyone! πŸ‘πŸ»

    Day 17 – Rural Nebraska, USA – NFD – 155.6

I’ve had a decent weekend where eating was concerned, and yesterday was pretty much stellar, as I had two meals and that was it. That was largely because we were busy going to open houses and had no time to eat/nibble. We had seven houses on the schedule, in order of when the open houses were running, and never made it to #7 because #6 was just as perfect as I’d figured, based on the photos. By looking at the first five, it gave DH proof that we really can’t expect to pay as little as he wanted AND find a house we want to live in. (He’s always been like that about spending money, and I’ve always been the one who assumed we’d have to spend a lot, LOL.) And, OH!, the house we found. It’s one huge room when you walk in–“open concept”–with plenty of room for our dining room table, even when it’s extended to its full length that easily seats twelve, and a gorgeous kitchen and spacious room for living room furniture. The basement is good sized, with full-height ceilings, and three extra bedrooms as well as a storage room, but it can be easily ignored when we don’t have company. The house is cute as all get out with a huge front porch and a swing. The garage is attached, but is in back so it’s not the first thing you see, a passion of mine that I never thought I’d get to indulge because pretty much all American houses have the garage in front.

So right now I’m waiting for our banker to call us back, and for our financial advior’s office to open at 9, all so that we can make some firm decisions, and then our realtor will write an offer. Exciting stuff!!

@icystorm Well, DUH. You talked about your passion for weather when you introduced yourself, and now it all makes sense. I love that you have a job that you so adore.

@excelsior12309 πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I was trying to sort out “weightless” and finally shrugged, moved on to the next post–and then laughed. Yup, autocorrect sometimes asserts its will even after I’ve told it what I wanted! Too, too funny! Hey, how’s the new realtor doing? Is he appearing to have any success in selling your building?

@northgeorgia So glad you dodged serious storms and damage!

    @lilymartin Wherefore art thou??

Okay, 35 minutes before the two offices open up. I should have turned over and gone back to sleep, LOL!

    Have a grand one, everyone!

Hmm…I did post over the weekend but it hasn’t shown on here, site error, or more likely operator error πŸ˜‚
Hemmy- nice to have Kristy’s visit to look forward to …you do sound faddy with your food, having new favourites alot & then getting fed up with them, my boys were always like that…
Jean- Glad you had a nice visit with Jacqui, & when do you go away with Katie?
Dave- poor Chloe being accosted by another dog! I hope you can sort something out with the roof company, small claims court otherwise? It might be a bit too much money for that though, not sure what the limit is …CAB are usually very helpful though, so 🀞 Good luck with no bread …
Nana- hope your daughter has got everything sorted in her new flat, & the job goes well…you must miss her πŸ€—
Saturday was busy doing cooking & cleaning, saw Mum as well as sis is on holiday. Both boys came & eldest’s gf, a very nice evening. Stuck to keto… Had a lazier day yesterday. Taking Mum to a local history group talk shortly, a lady talking about her experience in WW2, in the land army & Wrens, hopefully will be good. Seeing how I get on today with fasting, I am hungry but deliberately haven’t got anything out for me!
    Have a good day xx
