Hi again USA
On 16 June I emailed JJ at tech support complaining about the proliferation of new “topics” which were then 312, today it is 1477!
My comment was
“The majority of posts in the last month seem to be from people who have “heard” of this miracle and decided to do it, so they ask, “How long is a fast?” “How much can I eat?” “When can I eat?” etc etc
I just looked through the topics and there are now 312!!
Of those – 73 have 1 posting (the person who started it)
and 76 have 2 posts
meaning 47% of topics have 2 or less posts”
So given that the number of topics has increased from 312 to 1477 in just on 3 months because most people joining start a new topic with a word or letter different to the one they respond to there is no hope of following a topic logically.
Sorry if this sounds a bit confused but I’m sure you know what I mean
Hi USA, try not to get cross with people! I like to think that I do my share of welcoming to our newcomers but I genuinely don’t have time to read, let alone respond, to all of the posts. And there is certainly a huge proliferation of new posts! I suspect that the vast majority of us on this forum lead very busy lives juggling work (or retirement!), families and day-to-day living. I’m sure that it would never be anyone’s intention to deliberately ignore people.
Anyway, before I leave my computer for the evening and cook tea for the family (chicken curry tonight!), I’ll wish everyone – newbies and old-timers – a very merry 5:2 week 🙂
