Hi, first time here and my first post.
I’ve recently returned to work after having a Cardiac Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) – I’m overweight and not very active. I’m seriously considering trying the 5:2 Fast Diet to try and improve my general health and fitness etc and was wondering if anyone knew of any reasons perhaps why I shouldn’t embark on the 5:2 immediately?

Hi Whistler well the best person to ask is your doctor because he/she knows your case, but for me personally I feel fantastic after 14 weeks of this WOL I wasn’t active either, but now walk 5 miles on each of my 3 fastdays I’m on 4:3 coz I’ve loads to lose, my walking as got longer + quicker + my breathing much easier.
So I’m a very happy bunny + 2 Stones lighter Good Luck Sue
