I uploaded the revised 5:2 book yesterday and didn’t notice a lot of changes. I just found this and I see a lot of changes. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-4313396/On-5-2-lost-9-kilos-reversed-diabetes.html

I found that interesting but picked up on most of it from the posts here. One thing I liked seeing is that it is ok to lose quickly. I’m kind of ready to kick it in gear and just go for it.

Are the liquid fasters doing the liquid fasts to get the benefits of a clean fast (no calories or artificial sweetners)? No one here really talks about clean fasts and the benefits of keeping our bodies unfed for hours. What are your thoughts on 16-24 hour clean fasts? That is what I do (most of the time). The expert I am listening to does not allow anything–no artificial sugar, cream, broth. The last couple of days I have loosened up that rule and had a electrolyte drink. The drink gives me a quick pick-up and I am still losing. I’m going to keep tweaking the rules until I find something that works and feels natural.

@lindasue, your shirt fitting is great!! Doing OMAD I haven’t lost as much on the scale as I would like BUT all of my summer clothes fit by mid-summer. I was shocked. In April I tried everything on and only a couple of things worked. We went on a trip in June and everything slipped on. Just like you–w/o a big scale loss. I can’t explain it. Clearly there is less of us– so why doesn’t the scale show it?

@keetseel, I understand. I use to ride bike with my GF and we loved it. We both got into the best shape of our adult lives. But, there were too many close calls and I just got too scared to ride. We were on slow roads and even with the other lane open people do not get over. I take my bike to the trail now and ride there.

Day 11 – Cumbria UK – NFD but controlled

Thoughts to all affected by the wildfires that have ravaged northern California’s wine region, it is reported over here that more than 150 people are missing and at least 17 people are now confirmed dead and more than 2,000 buildings have been destroyed by the fires which broke out on Sunday. Such heartbreaking news @califdreamer 🤗

Great yoga class this morning and then an afternoon of volunteering followed by cake making for tomorrow (volunteering again at an fundraising afternoon tea!)- my contribution was to make a couple of gluten free cakes = lemon drizzle and banana cake – they look OK hope they taste good too!!!!

Delayed eating today until 1430hrs and planning on staying below 1000cals for the day making it a very controlled day!

@bhondo and @aarjee – Welcome – never too late to join
@dykask – sounds like maybe you should be getting a medical check up – this has been going on for a while now – take care of yourself
@Strawberriesandcream – just leave yesterday behind and look forward – looking forward to hearing about your new bit of kit…….
@lilymartin – hope you celebrated your friend’s life as she would have wanted 🤗
    @debster251 and @coda – absolutely 1980 was a good year…….
@anna6 and @metatauta – thank you but not until 1st November!!!!!
@flourbaby @lynned @keetseel @belfastsink, @lindasue – I’m another GBBO addict too but no problem watching cookery programmes or even baking on a FD…..am I weird??
@redrockgirl302 – good to hear that you have found your MOJO 😇
@coda – how’s your foot doing? very impressed at your B2B2B LFDs whilst still recovering!

Need to go and get ready as going to see Blade Runner 2 soon with a group of friends and I have accounted for a glass of red whilst watching the film – I should still end up staying below my 1000cal target for today ☺️

    3rd post

Fd today ended more around 1,000 calories as I started eating a spoonful after spoonful of chorizo, pork fillet, rice and vegetables dish I made today a recipe from the hairy bikers which was delicious. I stopped but ate almost one half portion I calculated so the total is around 1,000 calories today.

    Good night everyone

    Still day 11 –

@lindasue – that’s great about your blouse fitting well & a good reminder about our posture… I appreciate the tips folks pass along.

@xoxo – what is OMAD? It’s not ringing a bell right now.

I enjoy catching up on posts today especially. Needed a little pick-me-up.

It is true that together we are stronger.

No, you’re not weird, AT. I can also watch food shows on tv while having a FD! Thanks for the explanation of GBBO; I know the show!

Congrats Lindasue! Who really cares what the scales show if your clothes are demonstrating reality in a far more satisfying way!

Day 11 – West Midlands, UK – FD

Not a bad FD, I think I will finish on about 650 for the day.

Hit the gym after work for a hill ‘sprints’ session …. well 5min intervals at 5% and 5mph followed by 5mins same speed on 0%. Now I am waiting on a roast duck dinner.

    Laters all

    2nd post
FD went well until 1900. Then I thought of the culinary delights of the airport tomorrow. So tonight became a NFD and tomorrow becomes the FD. At least I saved the kcals of breakfast and lnch today!

    Day 11 – ABQ – LFD

So yesterday’s all day liquid FD (until dinner) went awesome. I was quite hungry for dinner, and had a small steak, some green beans and I was going to have some cream cheese & bacon stuffed sweet peppers, but they turned out to not be sweet peppers and were so spicy I couldn’t finish more than 2! Total for the day was at 280 cals- so I guess have too hot “sweet” peppers turned out to be just the thing to keep me at my goal!

Today’s LFD is going really well. I haven’t given in yet, and I think I’m just going to have some tea and miso for dinner tonight! I’ve had 57.8 oz (1709 ml) of water so far today, and I still have this evening to go so YAY! My goal is to get at least 80 oz (2365.8 ml) of water in each day!

Sober October is going much better this week, how about the rest of you?

Planking Challenge is getting harder, but we powered through it and the Squat/Push Up challenges. I am so thankful for rest days when they happen!

    @bhondo and @aarjee – Welcome!

Oh and I almost forgot to mention that I couldn’t resist stepping on the scale this morning after 2 B2B FDs and I was so surprised to see me back down at 160! 4 lbs in 2 days!! WHOOOO!! I definitely did a happy dance! I thought my pants were fitting looser, but it’s so nice to see the scale show the same!! I kinda can’t wait to see what today’s LFD will be after a third FD much less and LFD!

I am also SOOO happy to be breaking my fasts tomorrow! I am dying to have a little treat for myself, and I can’t decide if I want to have a cookie, a (rebel) doughnut, or some chocolate covered strawberries!! It will be the perfect little reward for myself for successfully doing a B2B2B and a LFD, showing me that this WOL lets me have a bit of what I crave AND still lose weight!!

Day 12 Gold Coast, AUS FD

I’m really looking forward to another FD. Yesterday I was home by myself, and really tired. I’m not enjoying working so much (although the extra pay is useful to pay for our next big overseas holiday. I do get too tired, but I find it very hard to say no when I’m offered the work (and I am grateful for it and don’t want them to stop offering!) Another 3 work days and then we have 2 weeks off together YAY!!!

So yesterday didn’t go so well on the food front. I didn’t feel like preparing healthy food, so ended up on auto pilot. Luckily we don’t have much really unhealthy food in the house any more, but had way too many unnecessary calories. Reset and back on track today. I’m wondering about doing a B2B FD – I’ve never done that before and wonder how I would manage. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow morning and maybe give it a go.

Thinking of all those affected by the terrible fires in California. Best wishes to anyone personally involved. There certainly have been some serious weather events recently, causing me to wonder what we might get hit with this summer, especially after the warmest winter on record.

    Day 12 – FD – Brisbane, Australia
I love catching up on everyone’s posts. Your victories feel like my my victories!

I don’t watch GBBO but am a serial You-tuber, I love watching people cook. Particularly loving Laura Vitale at the moment, but now I just want to bake. I will wait until Saturday though. I generally don’t care what I eat on Saturday’s (my free day) but I find that now I don’t want as much “Unhealthy” food as I once did. I will just have to give it away 😊

I have started the day with some cold pressed coffee, and I don’t plan to have anything until around lunchtime, when I will have a cup of Pho soup. Then salmon and salad for dinner tonight. Of course I will be chugging down my infused water all day. Is this considered a LFD? 24 hours of liquids? Or does everyone only have liquids for dinner?

Go @lindasue, such a great feeling when something now fits!!
@califdreamer My thoughts and prayers are with those in California, I can’t imagine what you are all going through.

DISCIPLINE, NOT DESIRE, DETERMINES YOUR DESTINATION

    Day 11 – USA (Illinois) – NFD

Yesterday was a very good FD that has me right still with maintenance. Yeah for that.

Very busy with a children’s museum EXPO starting tomorrow. There were set-up days and finishing up a few exhibits.

Will hopefully get to read posts some tomorrow.Thinking about all of you. Onward and downward.

Day 12 FD country West Australia
Too many pieces of caramel chocolate slice and sandwiches yesterday.
@at the funeral certainly was a celebration of our friend’s life.
An older person they were so kind, courteous , generous and authentic to everyone.
Well loved and much missed. But as someone said ‘ to live in the hearts of your loved ones is not to die.’
@calif and any others affected by the fires, thinking of you all. It must be terrible and frightening.

    second post
have just caught up with the past 2 days posts – many thanks for all who sent condolences. Much appreciated.🙏

OMAD is one meal a day. I fast from dinner until dinner most days.

I had 1100 calories tonight so I am going to have to do a FD tomorrow. My chin is up and I am ok with it.

    Day 12, Norway, FD

I find the hardest part of my FD at lunchtime, not for the sake of not eating, but the nagging from my co worker…havent told anybody exect my mother and my OH about me fasting twice a week… colleagues of mine are way to “know-it-all”, and i really have to wait until the results show…still cant believe it cant show though, 7.6kg, (16lbs).. well tonight im having a former co-worker over, havent seen her in…must be close to 6months…so a little test, if she cant even see a difference…well then i dont know what to do…hehe, something wrong with how i dress…

I see a lot of you guys say that you are more interested in “all the other benefits”, not just the scale number going down…for me, the scale number is the only “proof” that something is happening… my mind is too screwed…i cant actually SEE it for my self…i can notice on some pants, but my mind can just keep telling me that they are stretched or some other reason why they fit better now… but im wondering… what are some of the other benefits you can really see or feel or know are going on? I can only notice one, and that is that my resting heartbeat/puls has gone down from 85-90, to 70-75…. so thats good…but thats it… and of course that i dont feel the need for eating as much…

    Day 12, FD

    Day 12 UK NFD

Yesterday became a normal fast day instead of a liquid fast after I ate a bowl of bean stew when I got home at 10pm. My cold is horrible. Having to wait for the train in the rain because it was delayed due to leaves on the line didn’t help. At least I was warm while I walked and during the class and the rain had stopped by the time it finished. Another new low this morning. 69kg exactly, BMI 22.8. Nearly there…

Maayyaa it took ages before anyone said anything to me about my having lost weight. The main other benefit for me has been increased energy levels and a reduction in pain and anxiety. That came well before any substantial weight loss so it is a result of the fasting itself. Your improved heart rate is a great result! And the decreased desire for unhealthy food is an indication of improving blood chemistry and gut bacteria. You are on the right road, keep it up!

Xoxo I fast for at least 18 hours everyday and usually 20+. I have no doubt about the benefits of going without food. I feel so much better without it. I just wish I had known this when I was younger.

    Day 12 – Ireland 🇮🇪 – NFD

Went over the 500 calories on my FD yesterday as I have Dad staying and I had a couple of biscuits with tea with him as a supper. But I don’t get to see him a lot so no biggie, it was good to chat over tea with my father. 😊 He is 81 so every moment is precious ☺️

It’s a NFD but again will try to be controlled. Nothing until lunch, when it’s hard boiled eggs and fruit, then salmon, broccoli and peas for dinner. There might be a glass of wine, not sure. Then it’s a liquid FD tomorrow. Looking forward to that 😄 And the result on Saturday morning 🤗

@jessyoursize Go you on that 4lb loss!!! Well done and well deserved. I love liquid FD’s for the great scale readings

    Day 12, Guildford UK, CFD
    Other days on the spreadsheet

Thinking of you @califdreamer and that awful fire.

Thank you for asking after me @missybear, I had a break from everything as life was getting on top of me. So I have held to TDEE and a couple of CFDs. Which is pretty much working and I think weight is steady, likely not decreasing.

Haven’t exercised much either although doing some studying. Quite demotivated at where I am. Guess its a depression phase of recovery. Lots of early morning waking..

It will get better, just need to keep going.

    Mari

    Day 12 – Woking, UK – NFD
    238.8lbs
Another good fast day yesterday. Just 0.8lbs over 17st so planning a couple of good controlled days to see if I can get under 17st next week.
Mostly I’m just happy that I’m back to where I was two weeks ago so the reset after holidays seems to have worked.

    Day 12 Portugal NFD 64.5kg
Day 11 successful FD with 30min interval run

Feel like I’m getting into the way of things again. Not finding it so hard on fast days. It’s all about having the right frame of mind. My greatest problem atm is poor sleep (dreaded menopause). Haven’t slept well in about 10 weeks. Beginning to take its toll. Any tips?

    Day 12, Newcastle UK, FD

Yesterday was another dismal effort. Way over TDEE. I’m not even trying this week – other than doing the opposite of what I intend. Going to go offline for a few days until I figure out what is going on and what I’m going to do about it. Giving up on this WOL is just not an option. Hoping my exercise gizmo arrives soon and helps restore my motivation.

All the best and ‘see’ you next week.

    DAY 7-11 – UK – NFDs

    DAY 12 – UK – FD

Unable to post as stupidly left laptop at home and no signal most of the time in the Lakes. Lovely time, but didn’t fast, and am now exactly back to where I was at beg. of September!!!! Unfortunately had to cut our break short as hubby has an appointment at Hospital we cannot miss….more of that at a later time.

@Strawberriesandcream – I am in the same boat as you…I just can’t seem to get a handle on it at the mo. but am determined to hang in and not pile on the extra pounds that only make me miserable. I have stayed the same weight now for several months, despite really trying to lose,(after having put 7lbs of the 9lbs initially lost back on)..but there is always something in the way (!)…4 days eating lovely food in the Lakes, and next week off to Cornwall for a week with girlfriends, and I know I won’t keep to any regime, but I am still determined to try even if I keep failing, it will “click” again at some point I’m sure. Keep with it…it will happen, I’ve decided trying and failing is much better than not trying at all. Please don’t give up. xx

    Day 12, London, UK, FD

So yesterdays’ FD, 2nd of my usual B2B2B went a little haywire, I just couldn’t quiet my dragon, so I let him loose at the snacks I vowed never to allow into the house again!!! This was after completing a 19:5 FD AND closing the kitchen at 7:30, I really should have just gone to bed!!!! Below TDEE but still NOT acceptable, resetting today with a FD!!! @bigviking, I think we had similar days, it’s a weird feeling having a NFD which is almost a FD until so late into the evening (feeling a bit cheated out of a ‘proper’ NFD)

@xoxo, I’ve recorded my daily weight for the last 11 months, since starting this WOL, apart from holidays etc. but this last week where I briefly saw my lowest weight ever, then had to watch it disappear was just Too MUCH!!!!! No recording for me until I’m within sniffing distance of a ‘new’ low!!! My daily weigh-in gives me a good idea of what’s working, or not, and I find I’ve learnt how to read my body, low water days show clearly, and I can predict a whoosh pretty accurately now too. We can be ostriches together for a while!!!

@annemarilyn, Enjoy your sun-day counting, I could do the same in London just using both hands!!!!

@califdreamer, you’ve been AWOL for a couple of days, I hope all is well with you and your family.

@jessyoursize, I’m still sober, but it is 9 am!!!! I could have murdered a glass of red last night, then the snacking would have been Epic!!! Happy dance required to celebrate your 4lb whoosh!!!!!

@strawberriesandcream & @jarbia, as easy as this WOL is, we all know it takes work; I hope you guys find your Mojo again, your past successes only go to show that you CAN do this. I’m regularly brain-retraining ’cause what I KNOW about this WOL seems to trickle out of my leaky brain quite often!!!!

Onward & downward everyone, we’ve got this!!!!!

@metatauta Yes! Adelaide Road is getting really built up now. Cranes dotting the skyline all over Dublin. You should come for a visit. The city is really vibrant. I haven’t been out Ballybrack way for quite a while but everywhere here now is becoming more and more built up.

    Day10 Dublin, Ireland FD
Had a great NFD yesterday. Great green soup and beetroot salad for lunch and Chicken, veg and tofu stir-fry for dinner. 9.30am here now and am feeling hungry already though. Need to go drink some water. Out for dinner tonight with friends but to a really healthy place so just need to hold firm until 7pm

Hello day 12 from Co Down NI probably a fd as I want to gear my digestion up again very slowly.

I have my berries (Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries) with some natural Greek yogurt and a little honey sitting in the fridge in work. I brought my nutri blender with me and will give it a quick mix. Strange but again considering I haven’t had solids since Sunday evening I am not ravenous but am certainly looking forward to breaking my fast. I did weigh this morning and saw a new low number on the scale that I have not seen for a long time but I know this will bounce back up – my mission is to bring it down again and beyond. Sounds like a mixture of Mission Impossible and Toy Story! For tonight’s dinner it will be chunky vegetable soup – again something to fire up my digestion. I have a nice clean feeling and certainly eating anything else than good nutritious food is not on my radar. Most of all feeling very pleased and feeling strong. I will make the most of this while it lasts as I know all too well how moods can change.

@Strawberriesandcream – don’t worry you will get your mojo back – I have been there as have others so we know that feeling but because you don’t want to give up – something will click, you will get the strength and resolve. You will bite the bullet and do one day and when you do one, you can do another and before you know it you are back on track. Why not try taking a good multi vitamin or L Glutamine (which says it can help stop cravings and the desire for carb/sweet laden foods) for a few days. Sometimes when I am feeling ‘out of control’ again I take these supplements. It may be a mind over matter thing and a bit of a placebo effect but it has helped me in the past.

@debtster251 – had a look at the blog link and I really fancy one of the perfumes she talks about but they are really expensive. So when I get down in the 10 stone somethings that is what I am going to treat myself too.

    Day 12. Belfast, FD

@jarbia and @strawberriesandcream – I’m also in the same boat. I’m feeling a bit emotionally drained and a bit stressed out and this knocks on to me not getting motivated to exercise and I’m turning to comfort food like our big creamy pasta dish last night. But it was half-fat creme fraiche so not 100% bad 😉 @jarbia I love your outlook …”trying and failing is much better than not trying at all”. I’m going to remind myself of that through the following days.

Also, is there something that happens to us when the seasons change over? I always get a bit unsettled or out of kilter at seasonal switchovers…I love autumn though, so need to get out for some big walks to clear the head.

    I’ve started a pocket list for today…

    Day 12 Reykjavik FD

As I shifted FD from Monday to Wednesday this week I´m have a b2b FD now.
I decided to have 2 eggs this morning but usually I eat nothing for breakfast on FD. I want to test if this gets me better through the second b2b FD day which I have been struggling with in the past (and that´s the reason I wasn´t going to do b2b at all this month, hmm). Anyway, I´m in good spirit and looking forward to my weighing day tomorrow.

    Day 12….Florida…..NFD

    Good Morning……

Anyone heard from @ happy go lightly, I have seen her post in a bit?

Okay, so I may be a bit crazy….. but with all the talk of the GBBO, I just had to add my 2 cents in. Years ago, here in the states we used to get a couple BC channels. Then came Hulu as well as YouTube, I’m still able to watch my favorites such as how clean is your house, supersize vs super skinny, you are what you eat, living life on the dole and of course GBBO. I so think shows across the pond are so much better than here in the states.

I’m not sure if this is relevant to @dykask but I was going off something @lilymartin said. I was reading in the paper that allergies and illness were at an all time high as well as showing up earlier than normal. Apparently, there has been a fluctuation in our earth system causing all this fun weather, hotter than normal, earthquakes, hurricane and wild fires. Due to the unusual weather pattern, allergy and illness contributors have been stirred up causing the population to be sicker sooner and for longer.

One more thing then I’ve got to get ready for work. I hit a wonderful plateau for 4 long months, frustrating as all get out, only two things kept me afloat…. One being this wonderful group and the second being that even though I was stuck, I still kept losing clothes. I’m that 4 months I went from a tight 10 to a loose 8. Although you losing weight slowly, most of you big changes are going to be through your wardrobe. Remember, your body is in the process of using it stored fat cells during your fasting period. As they are being eliminated, you will notice reduction in the size of things such as your belly, women’s tatas as well as your sitting apparatus.

    Okay, I’m done!

I saw a little stiletto of a man, he’s on the loose, he’s on the loose carrying a can of fandango.

    Day 12, Gozo Malta, nfd

Today the scales told me I’m 64.7 kilos a 0.6 kilo less then last week. I need to lose about one kilo more to start maintaining.

I saw the news and the fires of California. Prayers for those effected by the fires.

I go to mass everyday and in the morning when possible and it’s the biggest prayer that one can pray.

Have a great Thursday everyone, onwards and downwards

    Day 12 Wales FD

@rainbowsmile – Hi, glad you’re still with us.

@belfastsink – I agree that the changing seasons can impact mood, I certainly have to make more effort to stay motivated and resist temptation as the days get shorter and colder…..I’m making sure to get outdoors in daylight as much as possible and taking a vitamin D supplement.
@strawberriesandcream and @jarbia – stay with it, we’re stronger together!

    Day 12, South Wales, FD

Wise words @bert1802 – your story of dropping clothes sizes while staying at the same weight is very encouraging for those of us hovering on a plateau! Looking at @xoxo‘s post above it sounds like this is a common thread. I wonder if improved muscle mass (a good thing) is why this happens. Per unit volume, muscle weighs more than fat, so if a person is ditching fat, but gaining muscle, their weight might stay the same, but they will look and feel thinner?

Joining the Day 12 FD Pocket list – good luck to all of us!

@belfastsink – yes I think the seasons change the way we think – certainly once the clocks change it knocks me out of a routine both Autumn and Spring and it takes time to adjust.

I tried to find the picture I had off 2 girls both weighed the same but the inch loss was visible, one definitely took up less room. I’ll search again to see if I can find it but the advice is don’t go by scales alone.

Had my yogurt and berries and am full!

    Day 12 Newcastle UK NFD
Busy few days hopefully I’ll catch up with everybody’s posts this evening

    Day 12 – USA – NFD

Good FD yesterday, about 416 cals.

Day 12 Akron OH. NFD. Last three days were great; with a 3 pound loss and unknown amount of inches to show for it 🙂 I have been very busy this week and so haven’t had a chance to catch up on posts. Will do so over the weekend. Stay strong everyone.

    Day 12 – USA (Illinois) – NFD

I really must make today more controlled. Going to do my best. Once a little sugar creeps in (at music rehearsal last night, hostess had a lovely spice cake) then it is so hard not to keep eating more!

    Onward and downward.

    Day 12, LFD, Canada

@coda – I am impressed with the 3 day LFD. Can’t help but get results with that kind of committment – you go girl!!

@basyjames – 3lbs gone -well done! I too find it easier to be good, when I am busy.

@lindsue – congrats on the buttoned up blouse, such a good feeling. I too had noticed my posture is improving – but hadn’t made the link to the daily planking . . duh.

@bert – yes – I want to diminish my “sitting apparatus” as well – hilarious!

    Day 12, US, CFD

My banana and prawn curry last night was really nice, esp when accompanied by one (only one!) beer.

I’ll do the same again today – eat nothing until dinner. This approach seems to be working for me at the moment and I feel as if I am getting a head start as next week I’m on holidays and I know I won’t do a single FD.

I wore some old/new jeans today and I looked down at myself and thought ‘woah, I look good!’ Haven’t had that thought in years, and although I still have a long way to go to reach goal weight, the feeling was awesome. And thanks Bert for the new characterisation of our “sitting apparatus”!

Congrats Anna on being so close to maintenance!

Day 12 – SW WA USA – FD

Congratulations on pounds dispatched @basyjames and few others!

Off to Canada for a few days after work today. Not sure I’ll be checking in on the weekend. Will plan to have controlled NFDs.

    Yes together we are stronger!

    Day 12 Canada FD
    Ready to embrace a FD!
No sweets + yoga + meditation

Day 12, Rocky Mountains, US, FD

    Back to maintenance weight! Yeah!😊

My Mojo is back, thanks @at, and hopefully will stay until I leave for Europe.

Thanks @annemarilyn: it really makes all the difference feeling better.

@lilymartin: so sorry for your loss.😢

@califdreamer: the devastation is just unbelievable. 😟😯🙁 I am so saddened by the loss of life, properties, bucolic landscapes, wineries, and more.

I also suffer from the changing season, mostly because of less and less light. That leads to my seasonal depression. Yesterday’s hike helped a lot with my mood. Will go now for another one. It is cold but the sun is shining which is the most important. 🌞🌞🌞

I am joining the pocket fasters today! We can do it!

    Let’s have a great Thursday! 😊🍂😊🍃😊

    Day 12 – Cumbria UK – NFD

Weather much better today – needed it after all that rain!!! Yesterday was a very good controlled day with just under 1000cals consumed – After 3 good days weight was 54.2kg this morning, happy with that after last week’s over indulgence….

Blade Runner 2 had mixed reviews by our group – some enjoyed it – others thought it too long and a bit boring but certainly made for interesting discussions afterward!

A hard aerobic class early this morning followed by a very busy afternoon of volunteering, serving afternoon tea for 40 people>>>>>prepping the finger sandwiches, cutting up cakes and mini scones with jam and cream and then all the cleaning up afterwards……..now sitting down with a well earned cup of tea whilst I catch up with the posts.
Going out for drinks and dinner tonight with old friends who have are here on holidays…..looking forward to catching up and there will definitely be a couple of glasses of 🍷
@lindasue – it’s always such a feel good factor when something that was previously a bit tight now fits well 💃 I bought a new pair of skinny jeans size 8 yesterday and it was a perfect fit!!!!!!
    @songbirdme and @redrockgirl302 – I’m with you in happy maintenance 😇
@jessyoursize – what a wonderful feeling definitely happy dance time 💃
@lilymartin – well said about your friend – such lovely sentiments and memories
@maayyaa – benefits of this WOL for me have included coming off all my asthma medications, a big drop in my blood cholesterol levels to just above normal but hopefully at next test will be normal! sleeping well, being full of energy and generally being in a good head space and not forgetting a drop of some 26+kg and 3 dress sizes ☺️
@rainbowsmile – (((HUGS))) we are here for you – You are stronger than you think – You can do this! If you can’t fast atm just try to stay in control and you will be back in the groove soon xx
@liathanail – well done on getting back to pre holiday state – forward and downwards ……..
@Strawberriesandcream @jarbia and @belfastsink – You are right in that “Giving up on this WOL is just not an option” We have got you – try to stay controlled for the the rest of this week and press a reset button next week 🤗
    @penz – so happy for you x
