Nicotine gum or patch to help control appetite?

  • One of my friend suggested trying 1mg of Nicotine to help control appetite on fasting days.
    He suggested either gum or 1/8 of a patch. I’m not a smoker but from what I’ve been able to find
    this is not the same as smoking as it is only nicotine and there is no smoke or the accompanying ingredients found in cigarettes.

    Has anyone tried this yet?

    Some bodybuilders use this method. As an actual smoker, I can tell you it hasn’t hurt (well…weight loss, that is.) It seems to keep the metabolism boosted. But all out fasting over several days does that too.
