  • Hi everyone

I’ve joined this group after joining various slimming clubs, losing weight, putting loads back on etc so giving this a try. Bit confused though as to how I am able to eat on a fasting day… say I have something to eat (cheese salad sandwich) at midday on a Thursday when would I be able to eat again? Thank you x

Hi @mummy1 – I think most of us can relate to your story of slimming clubs. However this is the last weight loss plan you will ever need.

have a look at this http://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/some-notes-on-the-fast-diet-for-newbies/

There are no real ‘rules’ – just the advice that on two non consecutive days you eat up to 500 calories on a fast day. So you eat a ‘normal’ dinner on your non fast day then between then and breakfast on you next non fast day you have up to 500 calories. On non fast days you eat WHATEVER you like but nOT HOW MUCH you like up to your Total daily Energy Expenditure level. The notes in the link explain this and how to calculate your personal level.

There are also answers to loads of questions in the ‘faq’ link at the top of the page and loads of help in the forums. All you have to do is ask about anything you’re not sure of and someone will help.

    Good luck

    xx

Ahhh that’s great. Thank you for your help x

    Hi:

You eat 500 or fewer calories on two diet days a week. You can eat any food you want, and you can eat the calories in one, two or three meals. Many just eat one meal in the evening.

Here are some tips that might help: http://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/warnings-to-newbies/

    Good Luck!
