Newbie looking for guidance… Pls help!

  • Hi everyone,

    I’ve watched the documentary and read the book and I’m planning on starting the 5;2 on Tuesday, tomorrow is my birthday so don’t think it’s a good idea to start then lol!
    My only ‘concern’ is that I don’t eat/like salad, anyone else like this? Will I still manage to do the fast days without eating foods like salad i.e lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber etc etc

    I am going to start experimenting and trying new foods but would love some guidance as to what I could eat on my fast days?

    Hi Mrs and welcome:

    You can eat any foods you want on either your diet or non diet days. It is not a ‘low fat’ diet. As for diet days, many find one evening meal high in fat and protein works best. Many find eating nothing at all on diet days works really well, too.
