I don’t miss the dead, or even worse half dead mice, birds, frogs plus shredded/dismembered moths and spiders. One of them brought in a live rat once, and at 5am I was running around the flat trying to catch it!
They also brought in a live mouse which promptly escaped and took refuge under the kitchen units. I was unaware of this until the pennt finally dropped as to why all the bags of flour, rice etc had holes in, and what that smell was 😮
There are a lot of cats in the neighbourhood these days, and that is another reason for not having them. Nothing worse than coming home to discover that a tom cat has come through the cat flap and wee’d everywhere :holds nose in disgust:
The plus side is that I have the opportunity to say hi to some of the friendlier ones 🙂

Hmm, when you put it like that Amazon I see your point!

We live in the middle of nowhere, over half a mile to the nearest neighbours, so the cat density is low here. Two of the four are aging, and one is a housecat. One is a hunter, and if he keeps the rat, rabbit and vole population down it benefits the hens health and my vegetable growing efforts.

We get round the problem of unwanted visitors in the night by locking the cats in, and that helps protects the garden birds at vulnerable times. Also it gives the cats the opportunity to deal with the house mice over night 🙂

It’s all part and parcel of being a pet owner, and the joys far outweigh the problems and unpleasantries 😛

    Good Evening All,
My day has not panned out as planned vis a vis fasting, I played bowls( very badly) but was invited to lunch by one of my team, seemed churlish to refuse, roast pork( yum).
I have tried to be sensible since then, just cereal, but the night is still young, give me strength.

I will give fasting another shit tomorrow.

Wilbersnanna-Don’t beat yourself up, we all have days like that. It will spur you on to be stricter tomorrow. Look forward not back. Good luck friend.

Amazon-sounds like you are becoming addicted to the gym, be careful my friend. Don’t overdo it, don’t strain anything.

My shoulder is fine now but I think I will skip badminton next week.

    Hi Jojo,

I’m really enjoying the gym but believe me I’m not overdoing it. I had a long chat with my trainer this morning, and he thinks I’m approaching everything in a sensible manner.
I’m 5 days into a 15 day fasting and fitness plan to get myself back into a good routine. After that I’ll hopefully have my exercise regime sorted out.
I’ve decided to try the Zumba class next Thursday 🙂

I was really hungry today which is no surprise as second day of B2B and a lot of exercise, but I’ve managed to get through it. I wouldn’t have been able to refuse roast pork though, as it is my favourite.

Glad to hear that your shoulder is OK now.

    Good morning/evening fellow fasters.

Well another FD over yesterday, I was very hungry this time but just kept drinking water/black coffee (no sweetener required thank you … haven’t had any since I was a teenager). This morning is/was my weigh in time/day and I’m pleased to note that after putting on 700g 2 weeks ago, losing 500g last week, this week I’ve lost another 500g giving an overall loss of 200g. I admit also that in between I did put on more and took that off straight away (2kg last weekend alone but that is gone along with that 1/2 kg extra). I have struggled in some ways due to the sugar content of things, but now I will have water only tonight with dinner and be careful with my portion sizes and food choices this weekend, however I will have my one icecream for the week but I allow for that. This past week went something like this, Fri – up to TDEE, Sat – BMR, Sun – Way Over TDEE (with expected gain), Mon – Semi-FD (very hard to do), Tue – FD, Wed – Semi-FD, Thu – FD. My most usual pattern is Fri – up to TDEE, Sat – BMR/TDEE, Sun – BMR, Mon – BMR or Semi-FD, Tue – FD, Wed – BMR or Semi-FD, Thu – FD.

Sorry for long posting/rant but so glad to be back on track. Thankfully I have pulled myself back into the swing of things and so it will be easier to maintain my eating patterns and keep losing.

WN as everyone says it’s a matter of just picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and starting again and leaving yesterday behind you. Previously with what I’d done over the past two weeks and I would not even be here, I’d be long gone, but this WOL is fantastic, you can get back on track quickly and easily with no guilt.

I’ve had cats most of my life until the past 7 or 8 years when our last one passed away. She was my first (and last) female as I found the boys to be cleaner (overall) and more cuddly. However as we also have the dogs my OH has requested we not have cats for a while (he’s not a fan of cats but we’ll discuss it another time 😆 )

Hoping everyone has a wonderful day … TTFN (that stands for: ta-ta for now)

    Comespring

I have taken heart from your statement. Quote: I have never woken up the next day and regretted fasting. Me too. 😉

I am remaining sugar free for Lent which is producing amazing flavour results. My dry roasted almonds taste very sweet, as do my few Brazil nuts.

Samm, you recommend only 2-3 Brazil nuts. What is the recommended number of dry roasted almonds in one day? Sometimes I have 10 as they are my sweet treat.

Yesterday I fell off my fasting day after 2 pm. I ate a meal of tuna, beans, tomatoes, red onion, capsicum and cheese. All very healthy, but disappointing that I couldn’t stick with the fasting day. I’m reading all the comforting words people wrote to WN. 😉 Feeling a bit low, so have to go scrub a few bathrooms. Hehe!

BTW. I still lost 400 grams, almost a lb, so the day wasn’t wasted. 🙄

    Cheers, Bay

    PS. Samm

I buy fresh Australian almonds and dry roast them myself in the oven, so that I know they have no additives.

    Cheers, Bay 🙂

I guess you are all more mature than I, since none of you have mentioned Jojo’s typo which gave me a smile! I think you meant that you will give fasting another SHOT tomorrow, Jojo! Xoxo

Oops – Sorry Ply i and o are very close on the keyboard and I do still have fat fingers. Well spotted, I usually read back before posting but the phone rang so I didn’t this time.

    Apologies to all readers.

Ply – my son has just confirmed he is heading to San Fran in July for two weeks, this is much earlier than originally planned.

His company have a branch there and he is being offered a permanent post, so he is going for a reconnoiter visit.

Watch out America, Jojo will be visiting if he takes up the job.

Now I really need to get on with my diet, I want to travel light so need small clothes.

Happy Friday fellow fasters and welcome sew49.

Good to hear from you emel and comespring.

A busy working week for me now done and dusted. Officially 3 FDs but because of undisciplined endings between getting home and dinner, decided to avoid eating until each working day ended. Only black tea and water quite doable really except yesterday on my feet all day teaching so had white coffee at lunchtime. Despite after work lack of self-control (didn’t eat junk but cheese and roasted cashews are my particular snack vices) scales showed net loss of 0.6kg for the week.

In the 3 weeks I’ve been back at work I have lost on average 0.5kg/week, which is twice the rate of last year. Obviously the 4 days away from home and food (… Emel I fully empathise with your challenge) and not having anything calorific except for the occasional coffee, miso or Bovril until I get home have had a good effect. Once my rib has healed, (can’t be much longer, surely!) yoga and weight training will also help restore muscle. I know I can’t compete with others’ losses but this is MY journey for life and, to quote SAMM again, this is a doable life for me.

Keep up the good work everyone and for those of you at work, remember POET’S day 😉

    Nicky, Well done !

Jojo, how exciting for your son. San Francisco is a lovely city. You could visit NZ going via SF.

    Cheers, Bay 🙂

Hi Ply, I did giggle at Jojo’s error, thought it might have been a Freudian slip as she wasnt having the best fast day ever!

Hello all, I have just been to the market early and now for some breakfast! Another thing 5:2 has taught me, I dont HAVE to eat before I leave the house, I wont collapse from low blood sugar. Much better to get to the market early before the crowds, then enjoy a leisurely bowl of meusli afterwards. I got some fresh trevally to BBQ, havent tried it before so looking forward to it.

The weekends are my big challenge food wise, so easy to oversnack! Though I think that the things we eat (and regret) these days are not as bad as previously, just need to keep perspective.

    Cheers all x

So many great things happen on this thread. I’m so great full to be a part of it. Feel like im missing things that happen when I just come home and sleep.

so cold today car wouldn’t start and all the pipes I. The house are frozen without trickles.

I went above tdee for the third time this year. I was offered left over lasagna in the break room . It was a feed day.so I regret nothing. Sugars did spike . But I walked for 6 more hours so all was back to range by the end of the day.

I too roast mine own almonds and mix with real Wasabi and hot peppers. But ive been backing off the almonds . As ive tried eating 7 walnuts every day for 4 week trial. Its doable. And i finding me llike it much just raw. I can get past to lunch . Including lunch on feed days at 650 calories . Put ing me in range of goal bmr feed day meals of 1600 calories when on planned breaks.

life’s short. Got to enjoy it and make it last.

What i discovered on my journey from overeating to healthfoods. Is i really can enjoy the flavors of unprocessed foods. The biggest hurdle in the begining was to commit to zero calories in my drinks.
Quickly realizing i could eat alot more vegetables andb enjoy the food calories instead.

Those cancer fighting teas really are enjoyable to have all the time.
I know this may be bizarre . So just sharing. I also like raw turnips. I cut like french fries and sometime dip in no sugars added spagheti sauces. Not trying to replace french frys. I just like turnips.

    HI SAMM,
Its not bizzare, its interesting! I like the taste of raw grated beetroot. I think we should be open to trying new flavours instead of just trusting what our mothers’ gave us! How on earth do you manage when the pipes freeze, couldnt even flush the loo! I know I complain about the heat, but I dont envy you that!

SAMM, I feel you pain on the frozen pipes. our master bathroom is built over a porch, so the pipes routinely freeze when the temps fall into the single digits, which has been often this winter! We have found that prevention is key…leave a trickle going from hot and cold when the forecast calls for frigid temps.
Nama, certainly a Freudian slip, and no apology necessary, Jojo!
Great news for your son, Jojo! San Fran is by all accounts a fabulous place, only downside is terribly expensive housing costs. San Fran is about 500 miles closer to me than London!

Thanks RT. Wise words. You, and all fts, enjoy your weekends. 🙂 Purple

    Morning/evening all.

It’s a mild day here so commiserations to those of you in the cold, especially SAMM and ply.

I’ve woken up today feeling very happy to have completed 4 fasts since Sunday, and made 4 visits to the gym where things are progressing nicely. I was going to go today, but my body is telling me it needs a day off so I’m going to hit the shops.
One of the up sides of not working and no longer washing my hands 30 times per day, plus a healthier diet, is that my nails have almost stopped breaking, and I can grow them, so a small treat of some new nail polish is in order.

Well done to everyone who has lost weight.
    Bay,
surely losing 400g on a FD that wasn’t perfect counts as a success, especially as you are on maintenance.
As you are looking for a bathromm to scrub, would you like my address…. 😉

Jojo, I notice the typo too and it made me 😆

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Morning all,

Another friend contacted me last night, diagnosed with an ovarian growth, unidentified cause at present, poor thing she is very shocked and scared. She has had stomach pains for six months, they have been giving her antibiotics for a persistent kidney infection. I told her before Christmas that she needs a scan, sadly this is the result. Still at least they know now and can operate.

Woke up with stomach gripes, refuse to use painkillers so applying heat. My daughter made me an egg sandwich last night so I fully deserve it, not her idea, mine. I know bread gives me cramps the next morning but it was just a craving. Trouble is I know they have foods in their house that I don’t have at home like cereals and breads. Just weak willed, that’s me. Also I had pork for lunch yesterday and I often get reaction to it. Why do I go into self destruct like this?

Out to lunch today( I will choose fish) out to a buffet tonight( more of a problem)

Swimming, Turkish bath, circuit training class and 2 hrs bowls planned today so fairly active. I have just agreed to do a three hour Nordic walk on Sunday afternoon, hope the weather is fair. This will be my first ‘adventure walk’ which includes double polling, galloping and other extension activities performed by group. Wish me luck? Also I have just reserved a weighted hoopla hoop, very good exercise for your waist guys. Takes some practise but anyone can do it. I wonder if I can do it whilst knitting? I might try.

My knitting is going well, making my daughter a red beanie hat, half way through it, learning how to read a pattern – with no key to understand terms. Thank goodness for the Internet. It’s by no means perfect but it’s quirks will make it individual. I can understand why home knitting is not very popular, cost of wool, needles and time commitment. Cheaper to buy a hat. However it keeps my hands busy and stops me thinking about snacking. Try it?

Barata- I get to Wellington at the beginning of October, on to Australia for November and December. Trip of a lifetime for me. Never been away for so long before.

Ply- just a stones throw away then? I hope My son likes San Fran but it is a convenient stop off for New Zealand as Bayleaf points out, such considerate children I have, do I not? Not counting my chickens yet?

Samm- sorry about the frozen pipes, horrible predicament, can’t you lag them?

RT- regrets are what make us wiser, learning from our mistakes. I wish I could learn to really take control of my eating 24/7. NickyF – you are doing very well, consistent weight loss is what we are all aiming for now. Aussie Oma – I think we are in the same boat – social life and temptation interfere with our dieting regimes.

Nama- I agree, trying new and healthy Cancer fighting, immune improving new foods may be our saviours. We need to do something positive to fight disease.

    Hi Amazon, 😆

You cheered me up. I need all the hard yakka I can get. It keeps me out of the kitchen, it cheers me up, and it helps burn calories. My house is cleaner since I began fasting. And I’m growing more vegetables.

I’ve had a savoury binge today, so have to behave myself tomorrow. We saw Selma tonight, worth seeing, great performance from the actor playing Martin Luther King. And even though we lived through those times, it is hard to believe that it is only 50 years since white people killed black people to stop them getting the vote.

    Bay 🙂

Just back from my shopping trip.
I went into M&S as I need new PJs. Yes, the old ones are sliding down 😆
but had to leave as the smell from their bakery was driving me mad!
I also talked myself out of a café Mocha, and am now sitting enjoying homemade granola with banana (a rare treat) blueberries, yoghurt, and a little trickle of maple syrup.
Much tastier than a danish pastry, I know I would have bought 2 and I won’t be hungry again in an hour.

I’m off to polish my halo 😉

I am pretty sure that counts as housework Amazon. Or should we call you Arnie after your session pumping iron!!!

    Ha ha Nama!

Everything aches and my legs are a bit sore today, so I though a day off was in order. The forecast tomorrow is for a clear sunny day so I’ve got a big walk planned.
I have to keep busy or I find myself in the kitchen poking around in the cupboards etc, looking for something to eat. Despite the fact that there is no bread, cakes, biscuits, chocolate, I can always find something, which is not good.
That is one of the reasons I’ve packed the freezer with FD and non FD dinners, so I’m not in the kitchen perparing a meal and picking whilst doing so!

I bought 6 packs of Zero Noodles today, with a buy one get the second half price offer. They go very well with my FD sweet and sour chicken and Thai green curry with turkey 🙂

I’m trying to stick to my BMR calorie rate today, and no wine 🙁

No need to apologise for the typo, jojo. As we all know, sh*t happens 😉

    Hello everyone.
Thought you’d like to know I’ve paid for my lapse in a 1kg increase, but I can deal with that. There are many worse things in the world that happen such as your poor friend,Jojo. So sorry to hear about her ovarian growth. I have my fingers crossed that all will be well for her.
    WN.

    High WN,

You can’t have eaten enough to gain that amount of weight so it must be fluid retention and maybe carb bloat. I’m sure it’ll go as fast as it arrived.

    Hi Guys,
Well my cramps developed into full grown pains. I got through my circuit training and lunch but all other plans cancelled. I am shivering from head to toe and feel really poorly. It’s been awhile since I had a lurgy, since my holiday last October so I guess it was due. Thank goodness for my electric blanket.

Heat and sleep is the way forward, chat tomorrow guys.

    Keep fasting everlasting
Keep on the move and in your groove

Bayleafoz – film looks good, may try it next week
Wn – thinking of you, quickly gained, quickly lost.
Hermaj- very funny but the line after that is …..and then you die( hope not) or is that life a bitch and then you die. Not a very positive message me thinks.
Amazon- I am being blinded by that bloody halo, stop it!
Nama – don’t encourage her? Too much restriction always leads to a ‘blow out’ sadly.

Jojo, we all take turns in falling off the wagon, and it isn’t mine just yet.

    Get well soon X

    Hi Amazon,
I won’t even try to describe to last few hours, totally ghastly. My daughter has arrived to nurse me because I have been very ill, everything hurts, it’s hell. She is staying overnight.

Thank goodness she is here, I was getting very worried I might not make it back to my comfy bed.

Water only for me for the next 24 hours, enforced weekend fast.

Hope everyone else has a lovely weekend.

Looks like I might finally get some reading done, it’s all I have the strength for right now.

    Awwww feel better soon Jojo

    Wee xx

Jojo sleep, rest and drink as much fluids (both nourishing and clear, ie water) as you can and if no improvement seek medical advice (doesn’t mean you have to take it just seek it 😀 ) as I hear there is a dreadful flu strain going around so please don’t leave it too long. Time for a clear chicken broth perhaps? Very low cal of course 😆 .

WN I too had gained over a short period after indulging but being firm with myself and keeping to the plan for the next week brought me back and yes a lot of it is the carb bloat and fluid retention which as the bloat goes so does that.

Heading for 41 today currently 30.3 and it’s only just coming up to 9:30am. I’ve put the fan on for the chooks, the fans and misting sprays for the dogs and encouraged lambie to get shade (silly girl was laying on the concrete near the kennels).

Keep cool all those in SA and hope it’s not too warm for those in NSW, ACT and Vic (if we have anyone from elsewhere in Aust my apologies for not including you) and I hope anyone in Qld is able to keep dry and safe, keep warm those in the northern hemisphere – hope those with snow get a melt soon.

    Catch up soon 😀

Jojo, so sorry to hear you are so sick! I hope it passes as quickly as it arrives. Make the most of the reading time.

Its heading 34 here AO, I will be lying low too! Family BBQ tonight so that will be lovely, I love getting them all together at once.

    Have a lovely weekend all,
    Cheers x

    Wishing you well jojo
something I’m trying to do is review the role of fiber In my current food menus. After reading a little on it. I’mthinking in need to understand it better. While i don’t have ibs or other pain . I do recognize sensitivities when fasting and my menu has had little fiber.

Something odd i read about colas is they are nearly as acidic as stomach acid . So when we ingest them and they pass through to the intestines. They help to further dissolve and break down hard to digest foods.

    Jojo
Take care. I’m glad your daughter is there for you. Can’t wait to have you fit and well and back with us feeling fantastic!

    Samm
I’m totally suspicious of anything cola. Who paid for the research?

Hermaj, haha! Keep up the one liners 😉

    Hi everyone

Going to post an update on the sugar free Lent challenge. If you also read the Maintenance thread, be prepared for some duplication. I think many people here may be interested in a progress report.

The first three days without any sugar in anything were not pleasant, I felt quite tired, vaguely nauseous, and always wanting to eat something, with the feeling that all was not quite right. I fell off my fast day and ate lots of cheese, almonds and Brazil nuts (not salted). I felt emotionally down and a bit hopeless. I was very glad of all the support coming our way. 😆

Finally, today the morning of Day 4 sugar free, I feel normal and happy. I have just made an apricot pudding for our guests this evening, and not even tasted a tiny bit. I feel chirpy and fine. So the cloud of sugar and processed carb withdrawal would appear to have passed. 😉

Thank you all for your support.
    Cheers, Bay 🙂

    Hi Bay

Very interested in your sugar-free Lenten challenge.

Apologies if I’m asking you to duplicate what’s on the Maintenance thread but am curious about how far you go in eliminating sugar from your diet. I can understand processed food but have you also eliminated naturally-sweet foods like milk, fruit, some veg and the like?

Congratulation on toughing it out – I hope you reap appropriate health benefits. n xxx

    Hi Nicky

We are all attacking the sugar free Lent in different ways. We agreed that true Lent is 1:6 and that we can have 6 days off through the entire Lent.

Given my struggles to get sugar free over the last 3.5 days I will not easily use my 6 days. I am saving one for a mates 60th birthday in late March.

I gave up everything. No alcohol, no sugar or anything that resembles sugar, no sweeteners, no dried fruit, no juices (I never have them). I have read every packet and anything that says malt extract, sucrose ,glucose, honey, saccharin, etc is out.

In the last 3.5 days I have eaten one nectarine. No other fresh fruit. My nibbles have been raw nuts, carrots and celery. I have eaten one small serve of Greek yogurt. One tiny splash of full cream milk in a very strong cup of coffee.

Hope that answers you. I think the mood swing was definitely due to giving up all carbs and sugars. Today I won’t be eating the pudding I’ve made. No alcohol. My treat will be a few tiny pieces, the equivalent of a half a kumara = sweet potato, dry baked.

Green vegetables abound, carrot and celery sticks, hummus and rice crackers (no additives) and peppers with feta are the other treats. I’m having salmon. Guests can also choose GF sausages, marinated steaks.

    Cheers, Bay :).
Must go as they will be here in 30 minutes. 😉

I forgot to say we agreed on a max of two pieces of fresh fruit a day. I am way under my limit. I will have some lime, mango and spinach salad this evening. B 😉

Hi Jojo i do hope you are on the mend we cant have you off the air waves for too long its to fast moving these days here 😆 Bay excellent work on the no sugar thingo I bought all of David Gillespie books quit sugar sweet poison but it had no impact however add fasting and bamb
things are good TV must watch list tonight is channel ten aussie tv people yes Nama u2 the best exotic marigold hotel looking very much forward to the viewing experience 😉
    Peace RT

    Morning all.
    Amazon,
Yes I agree that my weight gain must be carb bloat.I deserved it!!!!!
Having today off any thought of it though as it’s party time, family do to celebrate my birthday, stopped counting but still celebrating!!!!!!!!
OH is cooking so will make the most of it,but still eat healthily as that’s the way we always do.
Jojo I do hope you are better soon, keep up the fluids.
    WN.

Hello all , I wrote a long post ( for me) and it somehow is floating in cyberspace.
Today went for my first swim in years! I have been in the sea and in small pools but no formal swimming. The first 50 metres nearly killed me but I got there in the end and withe a brak each lap I covered 600 metres. My girlfriend did a km!
I lost 1.1 kilos this week which took place because I refrained from bread and walked and walked.
It has been a hot day even in the hills although two trips to the plains has seen the cranking up of the air conditioner!
This weekend has had a few social gAtherings so will have to be more focused this week. I am determined not to lose and gain the same four kilos over and over
    All the best jojo!
    Cheers emel

    Good morning All,
Still feeling lousy but managed some sleep. Head still thumping and stomach feeling bruised and battered. So I will drag myself out of bed and make some chicken broth then return to see if I can catch up on some sleep.

I gave up sugar and processed foods at the beginning of my fast last year. I had ghastly withdrawal for 6 weeks (headaches and bad temper)but feel a great deal better long term with very little sugar in my diet my energy levels and well being improved dramatically.

I have a rare foray into sugary foods but on the whole prefer to avoid it.

    Morning/evening all.

Jojo, I hope the worst is over and that your recovery is swift. Be kind to yourself.

Emel, nice to hear from you. Well done with the swimming. IMO it is a great introduction to exercise as it requires effort but doesn’t put strain on the body. And most people enjoy it once they are confident. Just ask Nama!

Interesting to read about the no sugar for Lent trial.
Well done Bay for even attempting it. I wouldn’t want to try as it would make me so miserable that I would fall off the wagon completely.
I always associate giving up anything for Lent with religious beliefs and until now have never participated, but this year I’ve made the ultimate sacrifice and given up bread. Every time I eat it, I want more and more, and it is not doing my weight loss any good at all as it isn’t just the bread, but what I put on it. After losing 28 lbs in 14 weeks before I went to Cuba, last time I weighed myself, I was only 4lbs less and that just isn’t good enough. I want to be on maintenance by the summer, and if I’m going to do that I need to get back to 2lb per week, or at least 3lb per fortnight, so bread is off the menu until Easter, and I’ll review then.
I came in above BMR yesterday but well below TDEE. Today and tomorrow are B2B FDs. I felt tired yesterday and I slept in this morning and feel refreshed so a long brisk walk is in order.
I guess I should put some clothes on first 😉

    Happy weekend everyone.

    Hi Amazon

Well done for giving up bread. You will lose more weight than you think. 😉

The dinner party is over, a happy time was had by all. I didn’t regret the red wine, dark chocolate and apricot pudding that everyone else had. I really enjoyed my salmon, salad, spinach and mango, and my dry roasted almonds.

Without sugar or breads, it’s quite hard to overeat. And I have more energy. 🙄

    Have a good weekend, all.

    Cheers, Bay

    Bayleafoz

    look into stevia.
there are many different manufacturers. So some have the stuff your avoiding but others are closer to a diabetics need for pure stevia.

it’s 30 times sweeter than ganulated sugar and is NOT REPEAT NOT artificial.

Wether you do or not .
what i use it in is green tea.

Surprisingly it’s ph is makes it so that water and green tea increase in alkalinity . So when im making an effort to eat a higher ph score , aiming at 7.4. The stevia is high on my list .

    Hmm
the research on the colas I don’t know. And it wasn’t just for regular soda but all soft drinks that include carbonate. So diet zero was included.
It was a study that aimed at third world countries that don’t have expensive medicine s. Aiming at indigestible food like sunflower shells. That cause sever blockages.

    Bay,
it is early days yet but I do hope it makes a difference.

I’ve just been for a very nice walk, stopped for a coffee on the way back, and am now relaxing with the sunshine streaming through the window 😛

Back to enjoying another feed day while the snow gets to nearly 5 inches. All pipes working again.
27 hour fast came and went yesterday. Sleeping for 16 hours of the 27 keeps it simple. Happy that i can now wear 36 waist.

I feel like I’ve achieved calmness through strength.
I’m not struggling on this variation of 4:3 hunger wise.
Not struggling to walk 70,000 steps per week and either jump rope or lift weights for 2,000 calories.

    calories per week 8600.
    weigh in
