Hi Ply,
When I saw the reports of severe weather in the NE USA, I confess one of my immediate thoughts was how pretty Boston Common must look in the snow. But prettiness must be well down the list of priorities for local people trying to get on with their lives. Poor you, with the plumbing out of order and a freezing cold house, not to mention your dog bringing up his breakfast all over the house. Sometimes our four-legged friends definitely lack style π
Since you at least have some nice hot water, maybe you could take refuge in a nice hot bath. Seriously though, stay safe and keep warm.
Hi Amazon,
Good to hear you are also a Trivial Pursuit fan. Maybe we should get together and have a South London v. North London tournament.
One problem with TP is how quickly it dates. We have the “Genus” version which dates back to the 90s so some of the answers are no longer correct. Having been reminded of how much fun it is to play, we may well seek out the most recent edition, which probably means our clever great-nephew will wipe the floor with both of us.
We are lucky enough to have a wonderful curry house within walking distance although to be accurate it’s walking distance there but waddling distance back. As you have probably found, carefully composed curries can work very well on fast days. Here’s one example which we had last week:
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/313610/sweet-potato-and-chicken-curry. If you haven’t already tried it, the Beeb Good Food site is very useful for tracking down 5:2-friendly recipes.
Back from the gym.
By suggesting Jojo put the scales away I was meaning what Nama said, that it is impossible to gain 7lbs of fat in a few days, and I find that so disheartening that I feel like eating the biggest piece of cake I can find, which is why I don’t weigh very often. I am not suggesting that anyone ignores the truth when they have overindulged, and I intend to weight every day once I reach maintenance
I am certain that the 7lbs will be gone in no time, as will whatever I gained last week.
I had a good morning at the gym, managed 15 minutes on the X trainer again, which makes me very happy as I’m finding the damn thing so difficult.
Didn’t get a swim, the aqua fit ladies had taken over the whole pool as there were so many of them!
I’m out again this afternoon. Off to Kew with a friend who wants to go to the orchid festival. Fingers crossed that the rain doesn’t get any heavier, or stops so we can walk afterwards.
Welcome and well done tess, I missed your earlier post (must pay more attention) π
Hi hermaj,
I use the GF site often as I used to be a subscriber to the magazine, and then discovered I could get the recipes for free on line! I’m quite good at adapting recipes so they are 5:2 friendly, and I also search out recipes where someone else has already done the work. I’ll take a look at the recipe as chicken and sweet potato sounds good to me!
Hello Hermaj,
Thanks for the curry recipe. I have one with chicken, split peas and sweet potato that is a slow cooker recipe and is really nice. This one looks yum too and I have all the ingredients except the Rogan Josh paste – but I see it can also be made with a Thai paste and I have that. Its only going to be 21 in Melbourne tomorrow and I am getting a bit sick of salads, so my lot are going to be thrilled to have a curry for tea for a change! Its not a fast day tomorrow, but I could also use up the cauli in the fridge and make cauliflower rice to go with it… that was a big hit last time I made it. My sons Vietnamese girl, who naturally was weaned on rice, has put on few kilos since living with us (while they build) and she particularly loved the rice substituted with cauliflower last week. Amazon do you think I could use Silver Beet from the garden for the spinach?
End of fasting Monday (midnight here) and I am so hungry, yet talking about food! Night all x
On the subject of weighing, there was an article in the Guardian (still available on line) titled ‘How often should I weigh myself?’
It reports a few bits of research including one study looking at variation through the week. For those maintaining or losing, weight was highest on Sunday and Monday then began falling on Tuesday. The low was recorded at the end of the week, before beginning to rise again on Saturday.
So even if you hadn’t been away for a weekend (jojo et al.), your weight would be higher this morning. Nothing to fear, entirely normal…
Amazing coincidence that Saturday just happens to be my weigh in day π
Nama, yes I would use silver beet as a spinach substitute.
Ply, glad to hear you have some heat.
The orchids were wonderful, the pouring rain on the way home wasn’t.
I’m about to tuck in to my FD dinner. It’s been a long time coming as I’ve been hungry since I left the gym, and didn’t eat anything in case I succumbed when I was out this afternoon. I got away with a capucchino, sticking my nose in the air and treating the display of cakes and pastries with disdain. My friend is going away tomorrow and has cake at home that needs to be eaten (she is skinny) so she didn’t eat anything in front of me which helped.
Shrove Tuesday beckons π
It is a pity we can’t all come and help shovel the snow . We could have a good laugh and work off calories at the same time .
I am quite pleased I have stayed the same this week . On valentines day I had 500 gms of red grapes (frozen) I bought 3 Cadburys Bournville ice creams . I actually asked OH if he would eat one so I wouldn’t eat the 3 . he said yes BUT by the time he came back downstairs I had eaten the lot lol . .
When we went out for dads birthday I had beef lasagne but no chips and I gave Ross my garlic bread . .. I had about a 34 hour fast and a normal FD so it worked out fine .
I love this WOE and all of you lovely people doing this journey .
I am now off on my wee walk π π
Wee xx
Morning all, sounds like a lovely curry, thanks for sharing.
Had a very late night last night along with a restless sleep means I feel a bit flat today, but that’s just tiredness and so I’ll get my “second wind” in a while and so I’ll be okay then.
Amazon sorry to hear the rain stopped a lovely day for you.
Ply hope that snow defrosts soon (but not all at once otherwise you’ll have floods!!), glad the heating is back on. Stay warm and safe π
Wee I hear you re the icecream … I don’t buy any at all but OH does so unfortunately it’s in the house at least he only buys it once in a while not all the time.
Hey all! π
I just wanted to drop in to wish you all the best for the rest of your loosing – and the rest of your life of course!
I will not be posting on here anymore due to a couple of posters over the last couple of weeks being rude about my losses, and intakes, so I wanted to give you good luck with everything!
Much love to all. <3
Zoe xx
Ply glad you are warming up pal . Amazon I hope you are drying out pal
AO ice cream keeps calling to me from the freezer . I do count it in with my daily MFP but it doesn’t leave room for much more lol π
Jojo I honestly believe that if you can’t have something you ” really really” want every so often… you couldn’t stick to this WOL . A LITTLE of what we want does us good
Wee xx
Zoe,
I got a lot of hassle last year from someone on another thread. I felt very hurt at the time and thought about leaving, but in the end stayed as there are more good people than bad here. And the other poster? She’s long gone π
Don’t take it personally, the other poster(s) don’t know you.
Good luck.
Hi Zoe,
Sorry you’ve come up against the nasty minority. As HappyNow says, there are more good people on here than bad. I think the incident she refers to is one I was also involved in (no, I wasn’t the bad guy) when we were both treated to some nasty accusations of the kind that leave you thoroughly demoralised and starting to wonder if you really are the Spawn of Satan. Our accuser has long since disappeared and having been comrades in adversity we remain good mates.
Online forums do tend to attract a small percentage of nutters and weirdos. There are those who think by hiding behind a pen-name they can say what they like, however hurtful. A family member who joined mumsnet gradually withdrew from what she describes as “a nest of vipers”.
I don’t post nearly as often as I used to but I do hover and only contribute if I’ve anything useful to say. You might want to do the same. Whatever you decide, you’re doing great. 5:2 does work although not always as fast as you would like, as I know to my cost. The scales may refuse to budge but all sorts of other good things are happening. We shouldn’t forget that 5:2 was initially designed to deal with diabetes and other health issues. Weight-loss was an unexpected but very welcome side effect. Here’s to your continued success. Hermaj π
Hello everyone!
Zoe I second what everyone else says and will add my bit. I read the other post that upset you and I think its such a shame that happened. You are doing a great job with your weightloss and its wonderful that you want to address the weight gain that happened after your knee surgery – lots of young people would ignore it as “too hard” Unfortunately on a forum its not possible to really guage a persons meaning and often things are misunderstood. But also, some people are naturally direct and blunt and this also can be misunderstood. Or just really hurtful. Dont give up on your weight loss journey now as you are making great progress. And always remember that fasting is great life long tool to enable you to keep it under control, without the disappointments that invariably happen with traditional calorie counting. Pop in and see us sometimes, good luck!
Amazon thanks, I will use up the silver beet that needs to be used. Also I think I will try the Thai version mentioned as I do have some Thai paste (Aldi’s – its good)
AO sorry you are a bit flat, hope you have a great day and cheer up soon! You mentioned Costco, I am a great fan. I only go about 4 times a year to stock up on cleaning stuff and staples, but I figure what I save more than covers the membership and then I dont have to lug so much home on a weekly basis. Certainly have to take along the willpower though, there is NOTHING they dont sell! My husband got his last passport photos there once while I shopped! I get amused by the massive trolleys – they are obscene! And did you notice the number of really big people, who fill their trolleys with the giant cakes etc. Very sad.
Have a great day/evening all.
Good morning cyber mates.
Ply, hope the plumber comes PDQ. What a winter you’re having! Wish we could send a couple of our 35+C days over and I would happily take some of the melted snow to top up the rainwater tanks.
Jojo, as our ‘leader of the pack’ you don’t really need anyone to remind you that quick on also means quick off. As Nama and AO said, most likely to be water weight anyway.
Hi non-nondescript Purple, hope your poor foot is healing.
Welcome clevertess. Bay’s advice is sound and based on an impressive fasting track record. Please tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi everyone else, you know who you are (to quote RT).
My FD yesterday was OK until I was offered a home-grown nectarine in the afternoon.
Q: what difference would one small nectarine make?
A: of itself, almost none but I suspect you can all guess the rest of the story …
The hunger dragon awoke with a roar and the day went seriously downhill – 3 more nectarines, then a shortbread and cuppa with OH after work followed by a a small handful of cashews, and that was before dinner which at least was reasonable, a small grilled lamb chop and steamed cauli, peas and carrot. Write off FD1 for the week to a semi-fast. Despite the pig-out the scales down 0.4kg from yesterday morning’s reading but still cross with myself for lack of control.
A better day so far (only 1050am though) with cuppa to hand. Hunger pangs more evident than usual so now activated eating avoidance strategies – drink my tea, walk over to the library and examine new books and periodicals closely. That should take at least 30′ after which I will find something else to do.
Take care everyone and keep up the good work. n
Hi Nicky
Don’t you just kick yourself when that happens? That hunger dragon is never very far from the surface!
Doesn’t really sound like much of a “pig-out”…all relative, I suppose.
Back to the podiatrist this afternoon. She worked some magic with my ankle, freeing it up, last week. How are your injuries? Settling, I hope. I, too, was worried when Wee suggested she would walk in the dark. We both know how long it takes to get over a “fall”. π P
Hi again
Pressed ‘submit’ then realized there was another page of posts. π
Zoe/Heavens I hope that you can maintain the IF WOL.
As others have said, this thread is full of wonderfully experienced, good-natured people who enjoy a laugh together at life’s oddities. I for one would be much the poorer (and fatter) but for the encouragement, sympathy and helpful tips that abound from these incredible fellow-travellers.
Take care all. n
Awww guys thank you but I was fine . Where I live there are lots of street lights and we are in a lovely neighbourhood . In Scotland all the homes are really close together . OH reckons I walked a good half mile . pretty good for someone who has gone everywhere by car for years . My RA has improved so much and I loved my wee walk BUT it was biddy cold lol …
Wee xx
Great job Wee, next thing you will be jogging!
Purple I hope the podiatrist works magic.
Nicky I agree with Purple, hardly a pig-out. Maybe all that warm and fuzzy talk about your lovely husband yesterday brought you undone! Maybe its not conducive to the discipline required – mmm we need to ask RT! I notice that after his lovely Valentines Day there was no mention of a loss for the week, despite the calories burned!
And how is the weather in SA? My curry is on the stove and smells lovely, so nice to have some cool weather for a change (Sorry Northerners)
Hi fast trackers some housekeeping to catch up with firstly heavens-hazzard I canβt add much to what has already been said hey except to say continued success I donβt post on any other thread and I like this one PVE we racked up a hot weekend then followed up with a chilly IMO 24 yesterday 25 today and back into 30+ by Thursday I donβt honestly know how I would handle snow and blizzard temperatures of a minus anything really. Ply no heating and -7 wow itβs the heat here in reverse every-one either loves or hates the season I like it hot.. Nama since I switched up my program to EOD for the month I have hand on heart committed to not weighing in and so far so good now any visual signs I canβt say however I can say not from lack of enthusiasm π but I have cut a fair whack off the end of my favourite belt which is a good sign although the folding of the jeans and saggy baggy backside pants look is not ideal. My mates have said nothing despite a 20kg downsize they will comment on a new phone or tablet a different car or power tool a new fishing rod but in terms of the program Iβm on or the results I am having zero conversation. However their wives partners and girlfriends are full of questions jojo I hope the shoulder is ok and you can do the leg work will that is healing..i have been researching the βcronβ calorie restriction with optimal nutrition interesting stuff.
Peace RT
Sorry to hear about all the injuries, folks. Hope you are all on the mend now, and your shoulder is not hindering all your activities, Jojo, and you are able to be comfortable to sleep.
Sounds like your workmates are not observant of the sartorial, RT. Great news on the disappearing belt, though.
Reading all your talk (never complaining, just sharing!) about the extremes of the weather makes me more grateful of a temperate Wellington climate. Lovely sunshine today. Forecast high of 22 today, but my thermometer at work only showed a maximum of 18. Keep warm, Ply.
I weighted in at nearly 2 kg drop on the scales this morning, after a FD yesterday. Don’t know what was going on, but am being very careful today to ‘lock’ the loss in today.
Good work Barata!!!! Always record the lowest each week. π
Lovely temperate Wellington. 26 here. 26 in the pool. Lovely!
Great beltwork RT. Mr P also had to keep getting links taken out of his watchband π
Every time you think you’ve reached the right size, you change again π
Cheers everyone who is awake. P x
Hi everyone in particular Zoe … hun, like RT I only post in this thread. There are two reasons, one is time and two is company. I don’t have oodles of time to post and the company in here is just awesome. I hope that you will continue with your 5 2 WOL and perhaps just come and join us in here.
RT what a whirlwind you are, no wonder you’re shrinking at such a fantastic rate … I’d suggest just ONE pair of new pants until you’re at goal just for now (from the sound of things that goal will be achieved in a week or two) and wear them for going out and about but keep the “baggies” for home π
Ply so glad your heating arrived … must have been awful for you. Last time I was in a situation where pipes froze/burst I was in primary school in England, I think it was 1964 or maybe 1963 when there was a blizzard as my parents and uncle had to drive from Surrey to Devon for my grandfather’s funeral. I just remember being at school and being very upset as my “gramps” had died. That same winter the pipes in the school froze and we were sent home. Again I was only very young and don’t remember overly much other than it was freezing cold and I just couldn’t get warm (now it’s wonderful as I’m loving this heat – 29C today heading to 39C on Sunday (at this stage) even here the winters are very cold for me and I have the fire raging heating the whole house up but still need a heater in the bedroom as otherwise I wake up from the cold usually with a headache due to the cold (that’s when we get around 3 or 4C overnight).
Will try to catch up more later tonight … have a few tasks to do first π
Morning/evening all.
It is a cold and frosty morning here, but the rain has gonr and we have blue sky and sunshine. I’ll take that over rain any day π
Up early for Pilates. I feel like going straight back to bed and snuggling under the nice warm duvet, but I must get moving as I’m out this afternoon and again the evening.
Shrove Tuesday so meals will be pancake orientated, yum!
RT, I’ve gone from a mental image of apron and no underwear, to baggy old trousers hitched up with a belt
Have a great day/evening everyone.
Yes Amazon true stories are easy to tell I canβt lie to you I too prefer the apron look but only on special occasions the baggy trousers thing I have been reefing in the ol belt and seriously never paid much attention but concertina trousers with shirt tucked in is terrible π PVE the wedding band is all but hanging on I am not much fussed however y-fee not amused I take it off to do the dishes: or it slips straight off and ends up in the bottom with the cutlery
yes folks I am the bosch version in our place so I am it π― AO I too embrace the heat 39 bring to me please I am hopeful of the goal doing 7 fast days in 14 over a fortnight is a good spring board towards the final goal and yes I am eyeing off a very nice pair of Levi washed denim 501 red tab straight legged jeans hmm to buy or not to buy this is the question (they donβt give them away do they) I am keen to get some info on this water fasting strategy from SAMM intrigued by this it must be said
Peace Love and Happiness RT
That’s great, Jojo. We have a spare room, you would be most welcome!
I have only bought one pair of jeans for my new size (and one pair of black pants for work) pending any further alterations in my shape – lots of summer skirts at the moment. Not that I’m pining for size 8, never thought I would be a 10, but you never know!
Be careful of the wedding band, RT. I lost my first many years ago after our first child when I made massive efforts to lose weight. They have built a motorway over it.
Hello all,
Firstly Hermaj, thanks so much for the curry recipe, it was lovely and a big hit with everyone. I will be printing that recipe. Very simple to make. I always keep chicken thighs in the freezer, I think they have more flavour than breasts.
Isnt it funny how different we all are, esp re temperatures. AO and RT saying they love the heat mystifies me. I am like a cat in the heat – horizontal mostly, no energy for anything. Cant sleep, get grumpier as the day warms up. In the cold I come back to life, 10 times as much energy, love snuggling under the doona at night with cool air on my face. Love walking, gardening, anything as long as its below 20 degrees! I have just been outside on a very cool evening, sleeveless t-shirt, weeding a big patch of wretched paspalum. I just couldnt do it in the sun.
I went for a swim this afternoon at a time when the local pool was virtually empty, absolutely heaven. Very pleased to be improving each week, swimming further and further without needing an oxygen mask! Amazon I am thinking of taking a leaf out of your book though and joining a private gym with a pool. I have rung a few and am going to check them out, mainly for the pool but who knows. This is the person who virtually told you all to back off in September when you tried to encourage me to exercise. One miracle has happened, I bought bathers and took up swimming, and am ENJOYING it! I cant see myself in a gym actually, but if I am a member then I might take up yoga or pilates. The public pool is fine but it does get a bit busy. And if I went to a private gym, the pools are only half as long, so I would feel twice as good counting laps! I had a brief chat to the very young lifeguard today who was being very encouraging, told him that swimming suited me and it was one exercise that was “doable” for me. He seemed to like that word, maybe he will use it himself! Thanks SAMM, your influence is spreading across the globe!
Take care all x
Good morning everyone . I only do this thread on this site too . I do a few on FB .
I was still awake at 2 AM lol I think the walk was just too exhilarating .
To be honest I wanted to go in the dark because I haven’t walked much for years AND when I was in pain with my RA I used to stagger and I worried people would think I had been drinking .
But last night I walked quite briskly ( briskly for me lol) and I loved it .
OH didn’t like me going out in the dark so I have promised it will be during the day from now on . I was out about 20 minutes .
He had a triple bypass years ago and has Aneurysms now so he can’t walk much . He is good on the flat but in pain on an incline .
I found another bone today π π .
I like to wear my baggy trousers when I am in the house and I pull them out and feel quite chuffed with myself lol.
have a lovely day and keep on keeping on
Wee xx
Another FD done and dusted (about to go to bed). Had 100 cal soup (yummy) followed by a small handful of blueberries, 3 or 4 blackberries and 3 dessertspoons of Easy Yo yoghurt (approx 300 cals I think, maybe less). Either way I’m glad I survived as I was YEARNING for some carbs (Ryvita) with butter and vegemite but I resisted. Now just need to do the same tomorrow. FD’s are basically 22/2 at most and tomorrow is another FD as is Thursday … this to mitigate the damage (gain) of last weekend, my own fault as I knew that this would happen but did it any way so now I get the added benefit of fasting 3 days in a row after one Semi-FD on Monday (that was 18/6).
Glad to be getting back under control … so easy to slip up for a while and then takes a little effort for an extra day or two and voila back on track π I just love this WOL but for me personally I need to not take things for granted and keep stricter with myself until it becomes 2nd nature … I keep breaking out before it gets there so have to start again, but hey, no issue, I’ll do it and get there!
I too am getting baggy trousers to such an extent that OH suggested I buy some new clothes but I won’t as I have some in each size down to size 14 that will be okay for me … some are oober spesh and I will wear them as soon as I can so that I get some wear out of them π
Wee you’re getting good at finding bones these days … I’ve yet to really find any but I’m sure there are some there somewhere π
Nama I too love to swim but haven’t for a long, long time … public pools are usually in use by clubs by the time I can get there and there is only one gym with a pool that I’m aware of and that is over 20km away. So I’ll just have to keep going with Wii exercises … I don’t do them everyday but DO do them every other day (weighs me at the same time, lol but can’t get the grams so no good for this … hmmm might see if I can change to lbs instead … will investigate on the weekend as no time before then just in case I get stuck with something).
PVE love your philosophy to take the lowest reading for the week … for me that’s always on Fridays π which is luckily the day I have my “official” weigh day π
Jojo I hope your shoulder is better now.
RT … what can I say π – reminds me of a little cartoon character … Hot Stuff (can see the graphics on the front cover right now π )
Barata well done you size 10 on the way to 8 … more contributions to our baby hefferlump (as I used to call them) π
Hi everyone.
Pilates was great, we are worked hard but at our individual levels which is good for me. I made a few pancakes, stuffedd three with chicken fajita mix to go in the oven under a light covering of bechamel sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. The other two were covered with yogurt and cooked warm blueberries for brunch π
Barata, when you said they had built a motorway over you lost ring, I did wonder how big it was……………….
I also laughed (I’m jealous) at Nama’s comment that less than 20 degrees is cold. If it is 20 degrees here we put our summer clothes on!
Nama, I wish I’d joined a gym last year as I am loving it.
Wee, well done on the walk, keep it up but don’t overdo it π
Good morning, everyone., hope your injuries heal quickly. Thanks for all the caring wishes about our cold and snow! Toasty warm inside this morning, and the six inches of snow forecast sounds like nothing!
So exciting that you are out walking, Weemam! Keep it up! And you didn’t gain despite the treats last week…wonderful!
Amazon, I am inspired by your post to go to Pilates tonight It has been cancelled the last 3 weeks because the gym closed due to snow, so fingers crossed tonight. I have pain in the backs of my legs when I sit too long (which I have to do in the car, so try to avoid it otherwise), and the stretching and movements in Pilates helps a lot. I made myself a stand-up desk at work, and that is working out well.
Finally saw The Imitation Game last night. What an amazing story. Tragic that we lost such a great mind so young, and that he was treated so unfairly.
Keep logging those losses everyone! We are moving quickly toward our goals! Can’t wait to join PVE and Bay on maintenance!
Just trying to catch up with all the activity here! WOW….everyone sure keeps busy!
Jojo…congrats on getting rid of 3 lbs already! I’m sure several more will go before week’s end. Hope the shoulder gets better soon.
A bit more snow on the ground this morning. Not much…just enough to make roads slick in some areas. Still bitter cold and 10F this morning which was better than the -3F we had yesterday morning! Brrrrr…… I am so anxious to be able to complain about how hot it is outside! Also anxious to get back out on the golf course. The winter is endless for a golfer. π
Have good days everyone!
It has been beautiful here today. Clear blue sky and sunshine all day. We’ll pay with a frost tonight but more sunshine is forecast for tomorrow.
I’ve been with my brother this afternoon which is always entertaining. He has a very sharp wit and never fails to make me laugh!
I’m out for drinks tonight with a friend and am going to try to limit the damage by drinking v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y.
Wish me luck π
Another FD beckons tomorrow, onwards and downwards π
Good morning all.
Jojo unfortunately knowing me the way I do if I get some nice clothes now (still have enough to wear for work, it’s just casual clothes which are a bit loose) I will want to be wearing them (I don’t have any skills for adjusting clothes and don’t know anyone who does) and that would mean stalling … as I already have several size 16’s and lots of 14’s both casual and work/corporate type then I’m okay until I get under 12’s which some of my 14’s which are slim fitting will probably be okay until then, so no clothes until my 14’s are too big π hopefully by then I’ll be working this WOL without too much calorie counting (don’t like this which is why this WOL is so great). I’m looking to get either to goal or close to goal by the end of this year – sooner if I can do it.
After the disaster of last weekend I was please to see that I was 1kg down from yesterday morning’s weight which just goes to show just how quickly it will come back off (I gained 3kg over 2 indulgent/partying weekends but no more now and even if there are I will ensure I stay with no sugar as much as possible as that is the killer – took water for last party but all I’ll say is authentic black forest cake!).
I think RT was saying that HE is their dishwasher … RT correct me if I’m wrong π
Time to move and groove and get ready for work … chat later … have a wonderful day/night fellow fasters π
Hi Nama,
So pleased you enjoyed the curry. As I, Amazon and probably others have found, it’s well worth bookmarking the BBC Good Food page http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/. It gives a huge number of recipes that fit in very well with fast days. There are others of 400 cals or fewer which are also great for non-fast days. I’ve a huge number of printouts, some of them covered in oil, grease, gravy stains showing how much use they get.
