  • Hi everyone. I am happy to be on this forum. I think this is the right place to find answers to what I am looking for. I need someone to suggest to me a blood sugar chart I can use. I want to start monitoring my blood sugar as from today. Thanks.

Hi Clem24, I guess your aim is to lose weight, so you want to have sound idea of your blood sugar all the time. That sounds great. I think you will find something about blood sugar chart here; https://healthiack.com/heart-rate-zone-calculator

And please control your sugar intake. It can prevent you from losing weight significantly to the best of my knowledge.

Do you want to know your fasting BG levels? Normal range is 3.9 to 5.9 mmol/L or 70 to 105 mg/dL. Depending on what you eat the values will spike up for 2-4 hours. Sugar/simple carbs will spike it a lot, protein moderate and fats the least. Simplest method is to take a reading in the morning as you wake up. Have a glass of water first to hydrate yourself.

The first post was for heart rate zone, you can use this for blood sugar chart; https://healthiack.com/health/what-is-normal-blood-sugar-level
