if, like me, you really enjoy a cold beer on a hot day it’s worth trying Becks Blue (or other alcohol-free beer) it’s only 14 cals per 100ml so a bottle is around 40 cals. Last week when it was really hot on my fast day, the ice-cold ‘beer’ was much appreciated- yes, you still need to take the calories from your quota but it’s a nice option especially if others are drinking.
