    DAY 15 – UK – FD

@coda – so pleased for your Dad.

Day 15 NFD – Durham UK

85.02 in the scales today. Darn it. 84.9 popped up for a second but then… 85.02. Ah well, another FD tomorrow so fingers crossed. I feel like if I can just get past 85, it will start moving again. Here’s hoping.

All the best to all of you today.

    Day 15 UK NFD

    2nd week weight in

    Start of March 172.6lbs
    15th March 168lbs
4.6lbs loss so far this month
    Goal 7lb

On target I feel although could do with it coming off faster. But that’s my impatience. Have been good on FDs, and exercised nearly everyday at Gym or walking, and waist exercises at home too, so all going in the right direction. For Lent gave up crisps, chocolate, and sweets, and cut down on sugar. Seem to be able to stick to it if it’s for Lent.

A lot of work but that’s what it takes and happy with my over 2lb a week average, hope I can keep it up.

Exercise to get more toned also, so building muscle. Don’t want to just lose weight and not be toned.

    Have a good day all.

@sarah57 – If I put my hands together under my chest, I’m suffering a lot by the time I get to 15! It takes time to build up. Anyway by the time I’m finished I’m flat on the floor almost unable to move and my heart is beating so hard it feels like it is going to climb out my chest.

The thing about pushups is there are many variations. For example you can even do them leaning at an angle into a wall. Find what works and build from there. A lot of body weight exercises are like that, many variations from not hard to almost impossible. Lots of examples on youtube.

    Day 15, Newcastle UK, FD

@coda – fantastic news for your Dad!

I spent a happy afternoon catching up on all your posts that I missed over the weekend. Loved your story @dykask – thanks for sharing. @johnnyr – I can empathise with your bullying experience – the boys at school were very cruel to me and it has affected the way I see my body all my life. I was delighted however, when attending a school reunion some years ago that those very same boys had aged very badly, whilst I had done rather better. That felt good LOL!

I’ve probably jumped the gun but my FD yesterday totalled around 650 calories because my sneaky little brain kept shouting ‘YOU’RE ALLOWED 700 CALORIES ON A FD NOW!!!’ A quick peek at the scales this morning show my lowest weight yet, so I’m now working on these new guidelines and will use up to 700 if needed today. Hope I’m right when the update comes out at the weekend!

    Have a great day folks!

    Day 15 Oxfordshire NFD

After watching the tv news last night about the famine in Nigeria and in east Africa I’m beginning to feel a bit stupid “fasting”.

Day 15, London, UK, FD (2nd of b2b2b)

I hope my fellow pocketeers are doing well, I’ve got the bone broth, miso and veg bouillon at the ready!!!

@patiger, hopefully today will be your day, I find the morning after a FD or exercise I either stay the same or go up ½ lb. the morning after a NFD is when the true results seem to show……..keep the faith!!!

@missj2002, it’s good to get a boost out of the blue!!! Funny how I’m so un-used to compliments I’ve no idea how to respond, a dip of the chin and a mumbled thanks is about it, I want to wax lyrical about the simplicity of 5:2 but I’ve been known to be evangelical about juicing and ….it’s NOT fat…..it’s been sugar all along!!!! I hope the aches have gone now.

@lorky35 and @deirdre54321…………………….I see skipping breakfast as my normal way of eating now, I refuse to wake that (hunger) dragon before I’m good and ready and equipped with the tools to keep him in check! The earlier I eat, the less control I have, and bad, bad choices are made. I expect I’ll be moving from full time 16:8 to 22:2 at some point as I become more accustomed to longer fasts…………..it’ll be a gradual process over the next 6 months I think!!!

Good luck today everybody, we’ve GOT this!!!!

    Day 15, Cumbria UK, nfd
Had a decent fast day yesterday, came in at just under 600 calories and can honestly say I did not feel hungry at all.
My shape has changed already and clothes feel so much looser and actually fit. This forum has made all the difference, so a big thank you to all of you xx
    Good luck everyone. Xx

    Day 14 – Queensland, Australia – FD
    Day 15 – Queensland, Australia – NFD

I think I forgot to check in yesterday. Did my 2 FDs b2b again this week (Monday and Tuesday), and finding it going okay so far. Love my weight after the 2nd fast day – so light. I don’t post it until Friday, though. I like to wait for it to normalise a bit.

Cruising the rest of the week now – all TDEE days until next Monday.

Happy fasting to all those fasting!

    2nd post 🌈

Just caught up with all the posts, love getting inspired. Thanks guys xx

Going to put myself in a little mini pocket group with
    @johnnyr
    @inittothinit

    if they don’t mind! 😬

I want to try this M-F week of FDs. I really need to focus on increasing my water intake so what a good way to do it taking most food off the table (so to speak), so no time time like the present, my week starts tomorrow with Thursday and Friday FDs and then Mon, Tue and Wed FDs too, see what I did there started mid week so I can get a weekend in the middle. 😂😂. Ease myself into it.

Would be interested to see how you two get on @johnnyr you already do this, and @inittothinit you are a newby to this, good luck, when will u start yours?

Not sure I could do this all the time but good for a little challenge to myself.

    Day 15 Berkshire UK NFD

    Day 15 Surrey UK FD

    Day 15 Hampshire UK

Today was meant to be a FD but this stupid virus has come back again. I would think I was going mad, but luckily loads of people in our area have had it, so I know I’m not losing the plot!

So I need to focus on being well for my holidays!

Equally this will be my last login until after my hols…

    Good luck to all X

    Day 15 UK FD

    Day 15 – Switzerland – NFD

I’m shifting today and Friday’s FDs forward a day for social reasons – means I’ll have a week of ADF next week, but I’m not too worried, I’ve done it before and it went fine last time…

@jennferb and @skinnylove, thanks for your feedback. I’m just going to see how it goes – gynae basically said anything is normal for the next 5-6 months…

@august2024 – loved your Hamlet riff. Must bear in mind that my ‘current rounded flesh is heir to comfort and sloth’!

Sun has finally come out, so I’ll get on with my day. Strength and determination to everyone!

    Day 15……Florida……FD

My last FD for the week! This is going to be short as I have so much to do before, we leave tomorrow.

Coda….. good to hear about your Dad!

So, I’m off, if I get a break in my day, I’ll touch base again!

    Peace be with you!

    Day 15 Belfast FD
Started fasting on Sunday at 8pm. On Monday I ate around 520 cals, Tuesday, I went to an opening event, where there were free drinks and nibbles. Stuck to sparkling water, but indulged in a few nibbles, so I probably ate nearer 700 -800 cals. Fasting today also and am trying to focus on keeping well within the 500 cals.
I have a touring caravan, and this weekend is our first outing of the year, so it will be a challenge not to overindulge.
@coda, that’s great news about your dad. I have both water kefir and milk kefir. I’m not so fussed on the taste of the milk one, but it improves if you make it into a smoothie with berries or fruit. I have successfully frozen it. I prefer the water version, which tastes good with ginger in it. It becomes slightly fizzy, like ginger beer. I now have loads of spare kefir, and am not rally sure what to do with it all. My friends that want it have got some. Freeze some more? Go into business?
Dykask I’m impressed with your stats.! I’m doing squats to music at least once a day on top of my usual exercise, and seeing your progress, I need to push myself some more! Not doing so well with the hula hoop though🙁
This is the first time I’ve fasted for so long.

Second post. I forgot to mention the poets. Very entertaining!

    Day 14 -NFD – Canada
    Day 15 – NFD – Canada

Lovely posts, poetry and news about @coda‘s Dad! Miss a day of reading and there is a treasure trove stored up!
I’m still struggling with the iron tablets, and water retention from monthly hormones. All in all a tough week so far body-wise. But… am loving the time with my kids (March Break) and in 5 days time I’m pretty certain I’ll be feeling much better! At least I’ve kept up exercising.

Day 15 – NSW Aust NFD
    Day 14 – FD
FD good. Next week is going to be a hard one with many work functions but will do my best.
    Good luck everyone.

    Day 15 – CARDIFF UK – FD

    Starting Weight : 165.5lbs

    Today’s Weight : 161.9lbs (3.6 lbs) March Target 8. 5lbs

Yesterday’s NFD came in well under TDEE at only just after 800 cals. Unintentional, just life got in the way of eating. So today instead of a liquid only FD I’ve planned to eat around 460 cals. These combined days still come under TDEE of 1585 cals.

Love that we have our very own bards, far more creative than I could ever hope to be.

@coda, great news about your dad.

    Day 15|Toronto|CD
Alas my poetic FD yesterday was a bit of a comedy after I figured out the calorie content in homemade bean, barley, lentil and chicken soup. Tasted great but at least double what I expected. Not a “tragedy” but a comedy as last night, after figuring out the soup calories, I was offered a piece of cake and thought what the he… as I had already blown the fast ceiling. I now sit firmly on a plateau at 85.7 k.

@obesa: You are not alone, I have had the same thoughts when seeing the famine and drought reports. I also wonder about the hidden hungry in my own city.

@Strawberriesandcream and @johnnyr – When I was in grade school I didn’t fit in very well. That was partly because I liked it out on the farm a lot more than being in town and going to school. Anyway I got teased a lot. Not that I probably didn’t provoke some of it.

One time after school I was headed to a trailer we had in town and some of the bullies cut me off. I don’t remember clearly if I did anything or not to provoke things. A girl that was with them picked up a rock, threw it and it beaned me right on top of the head. (Maybe that is why my memory of the event is fuzzy? All I clearly remember is the seeing her pick up the rock.) I even had to go to a hospital because the wound kept bleeding. Years later (like 30) the girl tracked me down on FaceBook and apologized for being in that group and throwing the rock. At first I barely remembered it and I didn’t blame her as she was probably just going along with it to not be bullied herself. I truthfully told her I didn’t have any bad feelings about it! Besides I had a lot of run-ins with bullies and only a girl managed to put me in a hospital! So it is kind of funny.

Sorry for the ramble, but the point is I bet a lot of childhood bullies really regret what they did and just suffer in silence. That doesn’t mean you haven’t suffered too. Still we can’t change what happened but we can do something about our future.

Still I do feel for you being bullied.

    Day 15 FD, USA-WA
Lost a lb after a NFD yesterday of some good food but no sugar. If I keep the sugar out, I really do feel so much better overall, and I’m much less likely to want to overeat on NFDs. Here’s to a FD full of activity and enjoying life, and not full of food! Thinking of you other fasters today!

    Day 15 Tas Australia FD

Yay have managed a fd today! Thanks for the encouragement @coda, funnily sometimes taking the pressure off gives you the strength you need.

Good luck everyone else fasting today. Looks like a great list. I’m thinking of you all.

    Day 15 – Cumbria UK – FD

Just back from a great yoga class this morning – still fasting since brunch on Monday 13th (from 1130) – 400cal consumed on Tues 14th and planning same for today and feeling strong and positive still. Busy afternoon volunteering so should be able to fast until dinner tonight – big bowl of salad or porridge depending on how I feel……..

It’s really great to read all the comments and contributions to the forum; as we have got going this month I have noticed more people are getting involved and contributing information, giving advice and supporting – what a wonderful global family we have grown into – such joy to be part of it.

@minnygirl – Welcome you can join anytime – can you read my first post on Page1 giving you all the general information and then just join in daily and post – I will add you to the spreadsheet with a FD for today – Day 15
    @dykask – IMPRESSIVE WORK
@goldensun – well done on achieving a personal target of “the longest I have gone on just water and herbal teas” now you know you can do a water FD if you want to
@snowflake56 – THANK YOU – great job so far this month – did you do a little dance on stepping off the scales this morning?? if my weight is good I give myself a little hug……
@jojo58 – I bought some organic milk Kefir and tried it for the first time – love the taste – so refreshing – I’m going to order some grains and start making my own – thanks for the advice given on here x
@skinnylove – stay positive – make sure you have CD and you might find at the end of the week that the weight has come off – often does
@lynzm – you are doing great – it’s always 1lb at a time and you are doing more x
@obesa – fasting is not the same as starvation – one is good for your health and the other is not – don’t feel bad – Hugs
@bert1802 – WELL DONE this week so now go off and enjoy your break and feel good
@dykask – lovely story to share

Off to have a shower then to my volunteering afternoon – will catch up later this evening

Keep strong anyone fasting out there and positive thoughts for a CD for those not fasting

“Willpower is a muscle – the more you use it – the stronger it gets!”

Day 15, USA, Missouri Ozarks, FD

Today’s weight 141.2, Below goal weight of 145.

Hello all, realllly cold last night – 14 degrees ! Covered up my tulips with a big tablecloth, hopefully they will survive as they weren’t in bloom yet but just starting to bud. Lots of local farmers lost all their fruit crop for the year due to the early warm weather having everything already budded(my son will probably lose this year’s apples, cherries, pears and peaches.), it is what it is. No severe weather like parts of the country so we really cannot complain.

Had a great day yesterday, ate some lasagna last night (no garlic bread although I normally would have two pieces – that can be for a NFD.)

Settled into work, getting ready to drink some hot lemon water to start my day. Used to have a couple cups of coffee with French vanilla creamer but realized all the creamer calories could be better spent on healthier food.

    To your health, all.

    2nd post

@patiger I posted the link on previous posts but here it is for you – hope you can open it xx

    Second post,

regarding some of the comments on magnesium. I use magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) in my hot bath every night. Sometimes I use scented salts to match my bath gels, sometimes plain. (WalMart sells a big bag for a few dollars.) I also take one 250 mg magnesium tablet about an hour before bed. I seem to sleep great, ready to go before the alarm goes off at 5 a.m. each day. I have taken Valerian root and Mealtonin at different times in my life but find both cause what seems to be non-stop dreaming. Sometimes crazy stuff that leaves me exhausted when I wake up.

Also, on the topic of prunes – I eat five or six prunes a day and love them. Always have. I buy Aldi’s and they are so soft and moist (almost wet) in the bag, yummy. About 90 calories and well worth it for the amount of food that they probably help travel through the system.

I have no unwanted “issues” eating the prunes (they are just dried plums, after all) and everything seems to be operating just fine. haha….

    Uk
    Day 12 – NFD
    Day 13 – NFD
    Day 14 – NFD
    Day 15 – NFD

Bf has been off these last days so no chance of fitting in a NFD this week yet. Will try a FD tomorrow and friday and im looking forward to it. I havent weighed myself lately but hopefully it is not a disaster and will be able to see a 66kg on the scales at home.

    Day 15 Maine NFD

Good morning all! Decent NFD yesterday – included 2 long walks…a lot chillier today, but nothing like home in Maine! Seems our little town in Maine got around 16″ of snow & power has been out since yesterday afternoon. Happy to be in Florida, but sure hoping our generator at home is working – don’t want to return to frozen pipes!

Friends from Maine joining us for lunch today – planning on being mindful! Planning on tomorrow for a fast day….looking forward to the ease of it!

@coda – happy you heard some good news about your Dad…must be quite the relief!

Make it a great day everybody!

Day 15 Chicago, Illinois USA – NFD

Had a terrible day of eating yesterday, really overate, also was a lot of junk food, chips, candy, ice cream all of the above in addition to my lean cuisine, haha. Shoveled out from all the snow we got yesterday and it just seemed to feel like I had a bottomless pit after that. Hoping to reset today. Woke up at 4:30, got to the gym at 5:00 did some weights and some cardio.

2nd day of my b2b2b going swimmingly!!!!

@lindasue, Regarding magnesium, I use “Magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes. Pharmaceutical grade. 47% Mgcl2 concentration. The worlds purest natural form of magnesium chloride” – that’s taken straight off of the packaging!!! I make my own magnesium oil, so I make a spritz which I also use as a deodorant (works like nothing you’ve EVER used before) and I spritz the soles of my feet before bed, I sleep like the dead, I don’t toss or turn even a little and wake up refreshed. I also take niacin which helps with anxiety.

As for ‘the other’ I’ve started to use psyllium husks although I think I would prefer the prunes as I find the Psyllium ‘hard to swallow’, it’s that gel like consistency!! I had the same issue when I took black strap molasses for iron deficiency (and to stop a ‘heavy’ day in it’s tracks (it works like a switch!!) – for those suffering flooding and the resultant anemia) I would have to dilute it in warm water and hold my nose just to get it down!!!………… ‘shudder’

    2nd post

I have just returned from the supermarket where I queued behind two chatting mothers, both with prams. They were discussing a birthday party this afternoon and both were concerned about the sugary treats on offer. They avoid giving their children sweets at home yet can’t refuse other children’s party invites. It’s a dilemma for sure.

If we treat our own bodies like these mothers treat their responsibility for their children’s health we won’t go far wrong. Avoid sugar in the majority but relax for the occasional treat when control is out of their hands. Key word here MAJORITY sugar avoidance.

I have just tried Ayran, a Turkish friend made it, salty yogurt drink. I was polite as it is also a probiotic drink which has been used in Arab countries for years but it was far too salty for me. She says it is served with lots of ice and is very refreshing when the weather is very hot. I guess the salts need to be replaced in hot climates due to sweating. Can’t see it catching on in the UK! Rarely that hot. Am I tempting fate? Global warming and all that!

I am still feeling ‘scales’ frustration, ban them to the loft, weigh once per month. I also think some fasters are putting too much pressure on themselves. One pound per week is healthy weight loss and easily achievable with 3 x 500 cal ( maybe even 2)fasts, why stress? What is the rush? (trust me I was impatient too but it didn’t work for me)You may even lose more doing 3 fasts, I managed 8 lb last month on this basis and I was away for part of February. No fluid fasts for me and no b2b fasts. Eventually everyone in stress will explode and this will probably lead to a binge. Be kind to yourselves, set achievable goals. Why make life hard for yourself?

Wishing you all strength and resolve, sending hugs too.

AT- Kefir is good for Asthma too.

    Day 15 – USA (Illinois) – NFD

It’s my one year anniversary of 5:2 today! I am ever so thankful to have found out about this WOL from an Aussie Words with Friends pal who said it had worked for him. I had no idea it would be so effective since I had about given up on losing weight, but -33 pounds later, I am here to say not only did it ‘work’ but it also is sustainable. I reached my goal of 160 in November and am happy to say I am at 159.3 this morning. “Beware the Ides of March” was my Shakespearean motto!

I’ve loaned my book to others around here who have been so complimentary of my slimmer body, and I hope they are able to work this program too. I didn’t want to lose too much and become over-wrinkly (at 68, that’s an issue), but I feel like I’m just right now. Maintenance has been a challenge, but it’s ever so much better with all of you and these challenges. Our fearless leaders have been terrific!

So, as we say — onward and downward!

    Day 15 – USA – FD

    Day 15 WI USA FD

Still figuring my way through these first few days of fasting/nonfasting. I was thinking M/W for FD but might change that to M/R … not sure. I’ll make today a FD like planned and see how it goes. Coffee so far. I added the fiber supplement that I normally add. I’m not sure if I should be or not – it’s only 10 calories, but it adds fiber and fullness and makes the digestive system work on it, so is it *good* for a fast, or no? I’m thinking yes, but we’ll see.

For the people that do a purely liquid fast – is that something you worked up to? I cant imagine just having liquids right now, but I’m sure down the road it would be feasible.

Even though I didn’t hit the gym the past two days, I did get over 10,000 steps in each day.

Here’s hoping today’s fast goes well. Happy day to everyone on this journey!

Oh, and my stats for the spreadsheet. Initial weight starting this thing: 195.4 lbs. (I can’t even look at that number. 🙁 ) Goal: not sure on “monthly” goal since I started this halfway through? Let’s say a goal of 5.5 pounds lost in the 18 days I’ll be doing this until the end of the month. And an inch off of my waist. (I’m trying to set a realistic goal that I can attain …)

@songbirdme – Happy Anniversary! Posts like yours, where you not only made your goal but are maintaining it, are so incredibly inspiring. Woohoo!

    Me again !

Happy Anniversary, SongBirdMe – wow, 33 pounds is a lot of weight to successfully lose ! And, even more difficult, maintaining the loss. I am in the maintenance mode right now and am surprised that my weight has been staying below my goal weight. (knock on wood). As you know, we are the same age and I so agree about the wrinkles/waistline battle. My face wants to be ten pounds heavier than my belly.

So, party on Anniversary girl – have some lettuce on me ! haha….

And FlourBaby, thanks so much for the magnesium info. I am rather new to this and very interested and will check yours out. Love the idea to spritz the feet before bed. I can remember being at my grandmother’s house and she would heat a brick on the woodstove, wrap it in a towel or something and then put it at the foot of the bed and I would put my feet on it. Now she would probably be in jail – right next to my dad who used to tie a sled to the back of the Chevy and pull us down the hill and blow cigarette smoke in my ear when I had an earache. And, of course, we slept in the back window of the car or the floorboard on road trips. Ahh, back when life was fun….As you know, we are the same age and I totally agree about the battle between the wrinkles or the waistline. My face wants to be ten pounds heavier than my belly….

My granddaughter is into all the essential oils so she will be glad to know this as well. She has made me several room sprays, etc., so I have the beautiful stainless steel spritzers already. Thanks again !

Sorry my earlier post got a bit wonky, my comments to SongBirdMe and FlourBaby got blended together into a mishmash. But, the intent was good, honest !

    Day 15, Canada, FD

@okeydokey Ouch! It is a slow road back from these injuries. How long have you been doing the 1:6? This is my first week trying 2:5. Am a bit worried I may be ravenous by the weekend and undo all the good of M-F fasting.

@goldensun. Yes let’s hold hands and try this. This is the start of my 3rd FD this week and scales down 1kg-yay! If I can do this will carry on 2:5 til I get into the 150s. I am busy at a 2 day course today and tomorrow so should be easy to stay the fast, I hope. Wow just read your latest post totally liquid, I am eating my 500 fasting calories.

@lynzm I started on Monday, so far so good. I am feeling very energized this morning. We can do this!

@lindasue your post made me smile remembering happy times bumper skiing as a child. Yes if you tried that now you would certainly be charged with reckless endangerment.

    Day 15-Montreal-NFD

60 cm of snow arrived during the night, and school has been cancelled so that scuppered my plans for the day. Instead I will prep my FD meal for tomorrow. The scales are being stubborn and not moving but I will persevere.

Day 15, Rocky Mountains, US, FD

FD yesterday turned into a NFD. So I will do a FD today.

All the best to all of you!

    Day 15, FD- Virginia USA

@songbirdme — happy anniversary, it’s so good to know it works, I hope a year from today my weight loss will be as great! Cheers to you!

FD going well, started drinking 20 oz of water in the am and getting ready to brew a coup of coffee, I’ve been fasting for 18 hours so far and still going strong.

No change in my weight. Does the weight loss slow down after the first 5, 10 pounds? I’m in it for the health benefits as well as weight loss, normally if I gain weight it’s even on every inch of my body and I’m pretty sure I lose it the same way, I’m enjoying some of the health benefits but I’m stuck with the same weight, any suggestions?

    Health to all.

    Day 15, FD- Virginia USA

    Day one of a b2b.

@nella Jimenez — No weight loss this month for me either but maybe because I added salt to my diet, I’m retaining fluids better.

    Go Wednesday fasters !

    Day 15–FD–Mass, USA.

    Day 15 – London – NFD

Hi All – great to see all the inspiring posts today!

Completed my first B2B quite easily yesterday and I even managed to get up early this morning and do about 20 mins of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, so feeling very energised!

On the subject of bullying – I was never bullied at school thankfully but have experienced it on a few occasions over the past few years at work of all places. – Sometimes it comes from a place of jealousy or someone feeling threatened, on one occasion it’s been sexism and on 2 occasions, it’s been from people who openly admitted to having been bullied themselves at school! At 42 yrs old, I’m pretty thick skinned these days and I know now that I can speak up when somebody is unkind to me or others, but despite that I am always surprised to encounter this in the workplace.

On a happy note, I’m enjoying a controlled NFD today. Good luck to all whether on a FD or NFD today!

    Day 15-Georgia,USA-NFD

Hi all UK day 15 NFD

Planning a fast day tomorrow – starting the countdown from after dinner tonight, maybe ending it on Friday with brunch seeing I am off work.

@obesa – we can just be thankful – unfortunately, whether we choose to fast or choose to leave food on our plate, it will not affect the tragedies of famine and mans inhumanity to man.

Many thanks for all your good wishes for my Dad – as you can imagine it was somewhat of a relief to us all, now they will just keep a careful eye on him.

@debster251 – heading somewhere nice in the caravan? – I hope the weather will be kind for you. I am just hoping this spell of dry weather will stay until 17th (St Patrick’s Day) – its a bank holiday for us so hoping to get out into the garden – unfortunately forecast is not very promising.

    @loubelles – well done!

    @fuvvie – all OK?

    Day 15 | FD | UK

I stopped having breakfast some ago too, never thought that I would ever give after being told it’s the most important meal of the day…

    @songbirdme Happy 5:2 Anniversary!

So glad my aches have gone today, my fitness tracker says I had 7hrs sleep which was enough to recharge.
