  • Day 10 | FD | Bucks UK

So far, it’s a good FD but I feel a headache coming on even though I’ve been drinking loads.
Went to the local Polish shop today and bought some Kefir to try out…

    Day 10 – Cumbria UK – FD

Went for a walk with my Friday group – fine drizzle all the way but was good fun nevertheless! Then physio appointment this afternoon – worked on my knee and hamstrings – both showing great improvement so that’s good BUT she now tells me that my ITB (Iliotibial Band) is very tight – deep tissue massage, dry needling – both very painful then showed me some exercises and how to do some hard foam rolling on the area to stretch it out – FUN!!!!!

I had not decided whether to do a 500cal or a water FD – so far I have only consumed water and tea with a dash of skimmed milk so I think I may see through today without any further calories – all going well!!
All my positive thoughts to all doing a FD and to those on mindful NFD/CD

Goodness me what a busy day on the forum………..normally I try to catch up in the morning and again later in the day but no time today so I’ll do my best to read through…………

@okeydokey – You are very welcomed and you are absolutely right in saying “No matter what; we’re still doing better than if we hadn’t tried!”
@pamie – HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU – HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A FAB DAY xx
@erika45 – I love Tim Tams – grew up in Australia!!!
@bert1802 – your kids are so lucky to have you as a mum and I think your kid has your sense of humour!! Hope the new boots kept you on the FD road today!!!
@bsp3 – nice to hear from you and that you still on the 5:2 WOL and 3rd FD for the month – keep going
@coda – Great post – even though you are having a hard time you are still with us and making the time to support and encourage on the forum – How wonderful is that – HUGS
@lorky35 – Welcome to the 31 Day March 2017 Challenge – we are a big and friendly group with everyone at different stages of their 5:2 WOL and some on maintenance as well. Share as much or as little as you feel like but you will have great support here. It would be helpful for me if you could start your daily post with the day of the month, where you are, and if you are doing a FD (Fast day) or a NFD (Non Fast Day). Example today for me would be Day 10 – Cumbria UK – FD. Add more to your daily post or not as you please. If you don’t sign in daily then just update at the start of your post whether each day since you last signed in was a FD or NFD – makes updating the spreadsheet a bit easier – Thanks
@steffieagle – sounds like you are having a good time and managing to keep with this WOL – great job
@skinnylove – I am a bit like you with B&J hence why there is never any in my freezer like @and… exhale!!!! I have a treat when out sometimes – no children at home so no chocolate, biscuits, crisps …etc in our house = NO Temptations. OH does not eat any of these!!!!! This helps reduce the risks of me going on a rampage!!!!! If I fancy some chocolate I will buy a small serve of dark chocolate my favourite! and it never lasts long in the house…….LOL
@missymay – congratulations – all your hard work!
@johnnyr – 5 mid week FDs in a row……WOW – I had to check your daily posts to make sure I had not made a mistake!! THANK YOU for feeling that you can share your story with us – Respect all round
@hollylj – no problems – I am assuming that the days missed were NFDs – keep posting when you can
@hannahwatto – Hugs – sometimes we try too hard to be brave – sounds like you have been supporting every one at work and protecting the family but it is good news that your family realise that you also need some support – take it and allow them to help/support you and you will reap the benefits
@notmyrealname -thanks for the info re Konjac – I might give it a try but it sounds like it can taste a bit funny – I have found using spiralled veg a good replacement for pasta
@lilymartin – great to hear from you, I had forgotten that you had no computer access for a bit. so glad that you got your mojo back – “nice knickers on June 30th 2017 ”
@onahealthyhigh – your post resonates with me so much – our family food ethos is similar!
@ciren2 – Mindful eating for the rest of today comes to mind?? You have got control of this xx

A few have been struggling today and it’s been great to read the many supportive messages on the forum – we are truly a global family! When someone is down, there is always someone to pick us up and help us move forward.

“It’s not just about losing the weight; it’s about losing the lifestyle and mindset that got you there” Steve Maraboli – To lose the weight and keep it off we cannot go back to doing what we did before when we gained the weight!!

@ciren2, many thanks for the congrats, still going strong but the discussion with my brothers about what we’ll cook for my mums Birthday tomorrow IS NOT HELPING!!!!

I’m sorry your day didn’t go to plan, you must have slipped out of my pocket. Keeping busy is the key for me on a wobbly FD.

My next FD is Sunday as I’m giving this ADF a go………Holler if you fancy joining me.

Good luck all, pocketeers……keep the faith!!!

    2nd post –

@erika45, @at – I too grew up in Aus and, being a NFD, I have actually just had a TimTam from the jealously guarded stash. If you ever want to come east for a cup of tea and TimTam, just let me know 😉

@fuvvie this is for you, not sure if quite what you picture but it looks like we could get quite a few of us in here if needed.

    Day 9 Maine NFD

    Day 10 Maine FD

Good Afternoon all! Just spent 2 hours catching up on everybody’s posts from the last 2 days – totally turned my mood @okeydokey of “boy, I blew it” to @okey donkey ” committed & optimistic”! Thanks so much to everybody for all of your sharing! And, especially @at for your commitment & as always, motivational sayings.

We got off our cruise to Freeport/Lucaya today….it was very fun, but poor Lucaya had major damage from a hurricane last November. I tried to stay mindful – food was good, not great, but good. I had a delicious salad each evening w/ some protein. But also had some alcohol each nite – a pina colada & some wine. I haven’t been drinking much, so all went right to my head – but very fun! The real downfall was the dessert before bed – cookies & soft-serve ice cream. For some reason “the kitchen is closed” image I’ve been using at home, just didn’t work on the cruise ship. I vowed to do a fast day today – didn’t even want to look at another breakfast buffet. Planning on a salad tonight. We arrive at our timeshare tomorrow for 2 weeks – so looking forward to getting back to a routine & cooking our own food. I am so sick of eating out! And, need my exercise routine….therapy walking!

@onahealthyhigh – especially liked reading your post. Being able to eat anything on a NFD didn’t make sense to me – seems that would only help maintain. I think following the Mediterranean diet on a NFD s the best idea – tasty, but not junk. Plus, I don’t know anyone who has gained weight from overeating vegetables, lean protein or berries!

Not weighing ’till Sunday – hoping a good fast today, & a very controlled day tomorrow will help reset my body & attitude! Have been exercising, but not my usual power walk. I’ll just do better, not beat myself up & visualize myself smaller. People watching on the cruise was amazing for this Maine girl…certainly all shapes & sizes – all motivating me in one way or another to continue!

    Thanks again all!

    Day 11 – New Zealand – FD

    Day 10 – still in Canada 🙂 – NFD
Continuing my 16:8 pattern on NFD.
Hosted pretty healthy Tex-Mex style dinner last night. Roasted chicken breasts and had lots of fresh veggies, lime wedges, sour cream, shredded mozzarella (had it in), sautéed peppers & onions, corn tortillas and made super yummy Mexican brown rice from Cookie & Kate website. Was great to feed younger kids, teen boys and adults with same fare.
My ‘issue’ continues to be being (feels yucky to mention) constipated on iron tablets. I hate it. It’s messing with my gut, my comfort, the scales… I’m hoping the brown rice yesterday and leftovers today will help. I’ll try sprinkling flax seeds on things, too.
    Best to all!

    2nd post.
Almost time for bed. FD day almost over…and successful, coming in around 500 cal. I’m pleased with that. Perhaps tomorrow a little reward … another Tim tam. There are still some Black Forest and mint ones left! a cuppa and timtam sounds good @notmyrealname and @at. How interesting you both grew up in Aus. I would love to go visit someday!

Still routing for all the pocket fasters across the Atlantic who are not quite at the end of their day yet.

Day 11 Sunshine Coast Aus FD 106.9 kgs

Laughed out loud at the wagon, Coda. No shortage of seats there ☺😂

Yesterday, gave in to a bread roll with peanut butter and honey, and we had burritos for dinner preceded by a couple of cocktails. O me miserum. So I took the dog for a walk last night and went for another walk this morning. We are shifting rocks this morning and I did some weights and squats in the gym yesterday afternoon. So I’m feeling energised.

    Your dinner sounds lovely blueninjamum.

    Day 11 NFD Melbourne

Sorry to be awol this week, have worked 10-12 hour days on a big first-time project with plenty of mishaps… Too stressful…

Have kept to 1 fast day, and on NFDs 2 small meals per day, no snacks, and little carbs, but have gained a kilo. I wonder if it is because I was on my feet every day for long hours and have built a little bit of muscle?? I feel cranky about it, as the other 2 (slim persons) were snacking all day, and one was eating lollies (candy) and drinking fruit juice. How Does That Work, People?????

Sorry gals/guys…. end of project come-down and bad temper 😳

    DAY 10 – UK – NFD –

    Day 10 Florida, USA NFD
Not especially healthy foods today but well within TDEE of 1200 Calories. Chili and taco salad planned for dinner with 4oz of beer (beer makes me too sleepy).
Looking forward to FD tomorrow. Wishing progress to everyone. Last time I succeeded at 5/2 I was SO happy to have all my clothes fit me well. When I reach my goal again, I vow never to regain the weight- learned a hard lesson.

    Day 10 Ireland FD
    Roll on the weekend!

    Day 11 – Perth, W.Aust – NFD

Getting closer to my goal weight which is encouraging me to be very mindful of what I’m eating and ensuring I get sufficient exercise. I was reminded today of how much I dislike the taste of artificial sweeteners, while I understand their benefits for some, I could never quite get to liking the taste. I’m also not a fan of other natural sweeteners such as honey, so cutting down on actual sugar has pretty much been my only option. Anyhoo, I bought a different type of yoghurt (a mainstay of my breakfast) that was labelled “no sugar”, good I thought, just natural yoghurt. However, it tasted super sweet and I was left with a very metallic/chemical after taste. When I looked at the label I saw it has artificial sweeteners added, tricksy marketers, these types of yoghurts used to be labelled “diet”. Guess I’ll just stick to my usual yoghurt brand.

Be strong, be kind, be fabulous.

    Day 10 – New Zealand – NFD
    Day 11 – New Zealand – NFD

Had a work shared lunch yesterday and really lost the plot, pizza, cake, lollies! Good part is I felt so sluggish and yuck after eating all those carbs that I’m not used to eating that I can’t wait to go back to low carb and fasting.

    2nd post,
    Excellent fast day.

Fayefaye- Cloud bread is a great alternative to bread, no carbs, tastes good, result! Enjoy. I also have zero noodles(Konjac), love them in a prawn stir fry, rinse under tap before cooking – 8 calories for a 2 portion serve, what’s not to love about that? Plus no insulin spike, happy days.

Lily Martin, I was in your shoes last year, nothing was working yet I was trying every combination I could think of and sticking to it. I am assuming you have read Jason Fung. I keep plugging this Doctor because he has got me out of a yoyoing rut. I now do 23/1 everyday, it works for me, why not try it. I am also vegetarian and no carbs or processed food. Good Luck Honey- seriously your only other alternative is to keep gaining weight, it’s control or give up your desire to be slim, no contest really.

I agree treat foods must always be healthy options, my weakness these days is cream cheese mini peppers in oil, heaven! Also love pears in berry juice or nuts(any type).
Sugar is not a treat it’s a step in the wrong direction.

    Day 11 – Toyko, Japan – NFD – 79.2 kg

After two days over 80kg coming back down. However it would help if my body would allow a bowel movement. When I was a teenager I only had one or two movements a week and I thought that was normal. It was useful one summer that I was bailing hay for a neighbor. The outhouse was being claimed by some hornets which are very aggressive. I didn’t have to deal with that very often. I had a very rustic upbringing deep in rural USA. It is kind of funny, but at the time my family wasn’t well off but I never even knew we were poor until I got to college. One thing about farm work though, it makes studying a lot more fun.

@lilymartin – It has taken me almost 5 years to get from 106kg to the 79.2kg I’m at today. I’ve often been stuck in a range for weeks or months. Don’t let it get too you. I’ve only been doing 5:2 for a little over six months and I started at 86kg where I had been stuck for a few months. However what I like about 5:2 is that not only have I lost some fat over time but I simply feel good. I felt a lot better after cutting way back on added refined sugar and the fasting has at least doubled that improvement. Seriously 5 years ago I was basically ready to die and was only living because my kids were too young. Now I am planning out decades. While fasting itself isn’t fun it has brought back the sparkle to my life.

The changeling task of crawling myself back into shape and losing the fat was costly in terms of time and resources, but it has been worth it. In the 5 years I gone from a negative net worth to starting to think about how I can retire or at least generate the income needed for life outside of having to work for a corporation. I’m even learning new skills and taking advantage of my college degree 30 years after getting it! Some of this was really spurred by quest to lose the fat and understand what was going on with my body. When I started studying harder I remembered the joy of learning new things. It has been timely too as my kids are teenagers and into the thick of learning.

So while the scale can often be disappointing, it isn’t everything. Just the act of taking real control over your body and fasting for a day is a major accomplishment that few people actually achieve.

Day 11 mindful NFD country West Australia
Well either the Fat Fairy got tired of me complaining or is trying to imagine my ‘ fancy pants’ or 5:2 works because I FINALLY, after 6 weeks!!, stepped off the plateau!! Am so happy to be under 72 kgs for the first time in 5 years.
My DH HAS survived after I mentioned my finally losing weight and he replied ‘ Oh, did I mention that I made a slight adjustment to the scales this morning ?!’ Fortunately I love him dearly and took his little joke.
@arvandee , I eat Mundella Greek natural yoghurt and add blueberries to it for breakfast. Mundella is made in West Australia, all natural – only milk, cream, milk solids and live bacteria. I love it and it only has 6.4 g sugar/100 gms. I like the taste as it is not sweet and the berries cut through the acidity. Mundella might be worth a try. I don’t eat flavoured yoghurt so not sure what the sugar content of other flavours would be.
Good luck to all the fasters and non fasters and wagon hanger-onerers, and those lying in the dust ( like I was) and those running to catch the wagon.
    WE can do this together.:)

    Day 11 – Queensland, Australia – NFD

Busy day today. Went for a run this morning, then grocery shopping, then breakfast. Still have to prep for my older boys, their partners, and children (my grandchildren) coming over this afternoon to have a family celebration of my youngest boy’s birthday this afternoon. I am lucky enough to have 6 children, 3 who are grown up and moved out of home, and 3 younger children, still all in primary school, with my second husband.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

    Day 10- Montreal- NFD

Day 10 – USA Pennsylvania- FD
10:24 PM Now in USA 😊

    I had a great FD. 300 calories. 100 sit ups and 7,845 steps✨ Ready to sleep 😴

    @erika45 Thanks for the encouragement.
@FllourBaby I’ll be fasting Saturday and Sunday. Would you tell me what an ADF is?

    ✨We are Stronger Together✨✨✨

    second post
Thanks @dykask and @jojo58 for your thoughts. I do not plan to get back the weight I have lost !!! Have eaten reasonably healthily , pretty much Mediterranean for some years, plenty of fruit, vegies etc – just too much of everything really and too much chocolate as well. Not much into pastry or sweets but you can really pile on the weight when portion size is out of whack with savoury dishes. You can really put away a lot of nuts, bread, pasta, potatoes, main courses if one is not diligent in controlling the amount one puts on one’s plate or in one’s mouth.
Like many others I was brought up to think it was bad manners not to ‘clean up your plate’ – a really difficult habit to break and one I still struggle with ergo I put less on my plate in the first plate now! Fortunately I have brought up our own children to think it is OK to eat only until they feel full and to leave food is not that bad – not desirable for economy ,environment ( food wasted per year worldwide really is an issue) and energy used etc BUT they are all active kids and not overweight.
I also became much more sedentary for 3 years with a lot more office work and sometimes inside for 8 hours. I do try to stand and walk or squat with phone calls or do 10 sit to stands whilst waiting for computer. Whatever, I put on a lot of weight and was quite unfit.
I plan to stay with 5:2 and do realise that weight loss takes time. Just had a hissy fit for some days and mentally stamping my foot at no perceived progress though of course mindful eating and fasting do help internally even if we don’t always see external results.
However hissy fit well and truly over! Again, thanks for your concern. That’s one of the many things I love about this group of people and WOL.

4th Post Day 10 – USA Pennsylvania- FD

I Love all the wonderful posts and support!✨Still reading through as many as I can get through😊✨😊

@scs Sounds like you had a great FD! Hopeful- Optimistic✨

    ✨We Got This!✨✨✨

    Day 11 – Perth AUS – NFD

So today is most definitely not a fast day. My little rant for the moment is that despite improving my health with this WOL, I’ve been put back on medication which for me has the bad side-effect of fluid retention, so it’ll be hard for me to tell if I’m losing actual weight or not. I’ve decided since I have to be on them a few weeks, I won’t do weekly weigh-ins this month, and will just weigh at the end of the month and hope the scales give me the same number I started this month with.

Just gotta keep trying, no matter what life throws at you!

Day 11, Munic, Germany – NFD

    Day 11, UK, NFD

    Anonymous

    Day 11 – NL – NFD

    Day 11, Switzerland, NFD
Saved my 500 cals (but probably went a bit over)for dinner with my friend last night. Food is beginning to taste AMAZING … I had the most super scrumptious grilled beef and veggies ever and wasn’t tempted in the slightest for dessert, although I did have a glass of Hugo to toast my friend’s birthday. I’m off to my aquafit class now. Have a great day everyone ☘🌼☘🌼

    Day 11, Germany, NFD

    Day 11 UK NFD

Just checking in. Out fpr the day with my two little grandsons who are then staying the night. This represents a real challenge today. I am afraid I succumbed to chocolate for the first time last since Christmas at the cinema last night aggh! Why?! I never usually eat at the cinema!! (We saw ‘Elle’ v good)

    Day 11 Hampshire NFD

    Day 10 – London – NFD
    Day 11 – London – NFD

    Day 11 UK NFD

Became absolutely ravenous yesterday but stuck to the one meal at six. I think it is the extra stress that may be holding me back at the moment. I am still the same weight this morning, 3lbs above March start weight without slipping up even once this month. It is not helping with the stress. Couldn’t sleep last night. Too much going round my head and more pain than in recent months, also stress and hormone related no doubt. Life catching up. I knew the fast weight loss was a bit too good to be true. The benefits still far out shine the alternative though. So, onwards…

    Day 11, UK, NFD.
Day 10 turned from a FD to a NFD at 7pm ☹️. Wanted to try for a FD today but not in the right frame of mind. Will try to catch up on posts later.
    Happy Saturday all.

    Day 11 BELFAST NFD

Official Saturday weigh in: 157 – down 1lb from last week. Waist down 1/2 inch.

A bit disappointed at the weight, because I’m still stuck in that 2lb window, but down is down. Pleased at the waist measurement. That, now is the most important measurement. My waist/height ratio is now 0.53. Book me a place in that wagon Coda!
@fuvvie I haven’t heard the phrase O me miserum since school. It made me chuckle. My latin teacher was an elderly (my age now?) thin, dour lady who couldn’t be pleased.(definitely NOT me!). It brought back memories.
Tried cloud bread this week and was impressed (thank you JoJo for the recipe)
Hugs across the world to all those struggling and a high five to all be big losers. Slow steady progress is the name of the game. Onwards and downwards!

    Day .11 UK NFD/CD

Sad to say my day went haywire yesterday and I fell off the fd wagon.
    Coda great wagon pic!

Happy weekend stay strong stay fabulous!!!

    DAY 11 – UK – FD

Not a good day yesterday food-wise. Seem to have slipped a bit this last month AGAIN – but fortunately scales still being kind. I must knuckle down, as soon they will turn against me. Weight still remaining same as 1 Feb – so no loss or gain for nearly 6 weeks – but take this as a positive as I have been less mindful than I was in Jan.
Target now changed to a 2lb loss this month – I will be ecstatic if that happens.

Trying for a short run to-day and a very strict fd. I need to re-boot and get back on track. MY good intentions of AD and 4/3 seem to be just that at the mo. intentions only….to-day is the day…. Good luck all xx

@at – thanks got the spreadsheet link.

Clean up your plate, just think of the starving children in ….

Yea I heard too when I was in town going to school. Out on the farm my grandma kept a chicken bucket. You cleaned you plate off into the chicken bucket and she would throw it out for the chickens. The dogs would take care of bones, but that is just what she did. She also had a wood burning stove and I’m pretty sure she burned some garbage in it too. She wasn’t one for wasting things. She wasn’t that good of a cook though so overeating wasn’t much a problem out there. She was good a baking though and canning. So meals were a little light and deserts were a little heavy. Still their wasn’t much fat on any of us. I never gave a thought to what was good or bad to eat. As I got a little older my grandmother developed T2D. However by then I was working as a farmhand for a neighbor. $20/day plus room and board is basically how I paid for most of my college. Those low wage years are now falling off of my 35 years earning windows for Social Security.

In college I was able to get a dorm cafeteria pass for around $400/quarter I think. I also worked at school during while going to college and only worked out on the farms during summer breaks at least for a couple years. I started washings dishes in the cafeteria for $1.65/hour. You would be shocked at how much food was wasted. My really bad eating habits probably formed then. In my twenties I was probably eating over 4000 kc/day. I used eat a whole box of macaroni and cheese with lots of extra cheese, a can of pork & beans and a lot of cottage cheese for a meal. Then I would have a large bowl of ice cream with a bunch of toppings. It was insane. It got better after I was married but my wife was great at cooking. Still my weight never got too bad. When I was younger working out really helped with the weight. Eating a little less was effective too.

We didn’t have kids right away, but when we finally started is when I started losing ground. My son was born when I was 40 and my daughter 3 years later. Busy times, and my weight slowly moved to the 100 kg range. In 2009 my wife got a job for a while in Tokyo and I sort of went back and forth. I was working for Microsoft then. Sometimes when the weather permitted I would ride a bike back and forth to work. It was about 15 km ride with a 100m+ hill in the center. That helped with the weight. Around 2010 I was riding kind of crazy fast, lost control and crashed into a rock wall. Took a while to heal and that is kind of when my weight took off. A few couple years later my wife had an opportunity in Tokyo. I found a job and we moved. (I make it sound easy but it was hard.)

I got here and was working all the time an my weight got up to 106kg, pushing 40% body fat. I couldn’t keep up with my kids even short walk left me tired and walking is what you do in Tokyo. Compared to most Japanese I was massive at 106kg. On top of that I just lost my interest in life.

However when you life doesn’t matter that much to you is when you have the most power. I started working out again just to keep up with my kids and I had to work with a health coach for a year to save on health care costs. When I moved to Tokyo we had over a six figure debt. However one thing about Japanese is that they are really into saving. So to save money I started eating less and moving more and that is how I got started. Over the first year of that I got my weight down to 92kg. Then I spent two years basically gaining 2kg by eating even less and moving more. I was living but life was miserable. However I kept experimenting. I started buying devices to help keep my active. (Right now I’m using a Fenix 3 Garmin watch.) But I was only listening to the standard advice. Move more! Count your calories! …

I turned the corner when I decide to cut even more and I finally gave up the one thing I really enjoyed eating, desert. What happened is my hunger almost disappeared and for the first time in years I felt like living. I stripped the refined sugar out of my diet and I started feeling really good, like I felt when I was young. People told me I was crazy and so I hit the books. However now there is youtube and so many online resources. A year later I’m feeling even much better, weight typically below 80kg and fasting.

However I still often feel compelled to clean my plate. I’m just a lot more careful about what I put on it.

    Day 11 / UK / NFD (67.9kg)

FD yesterday, had a good’un! Fairly emotional (finding myself in full-blown anger stage after the breakup now), but good food-wise. Zumba after work and before sushi. I’ve had it before but have always felt a bit squeamish about it, but may just make it an alternative to soup, especially when on the go.

Scales have been kind: 67.9kg this morning! .3kg down from after the last post-FD weigh, not much but should I really have gotten away with my Ben & Jerry’s fest?! 😀

@fayefaye Oh totally the cheap ones, GBP 1.35 for six! Jam is really popular among the students, like em too (I like all of them!), but chocolate oh chocolate… Germany has quite a doughnut culture (well, Krapfen), they have always been a bit too fancy for me… and also too big. The ones we have here are just a blob of doughnutty goodness with a little (actually, fairly big) surprise at the core…

@and… exhale Yup, that’s usually my strategy as well: what I don’t have I can’t eat. And indeed, the size is just awful. A whole pint is way more than any reasonable portion, but I could never let go of it and put it back into the freezer, and the next smaller size is not more than a couple of spoons. Just best to stay away from them. Buying frozen fruits for my smoothies tomorrow, that and peas is everything for me to see in the freezer section!

I hear you about taste buds though (same for portion sizes), one does adapt over time, just need to stick with this all long enough to get used to it! 😉

    Day 11 Berkshire UK NFD
Yesterday turned into a FD! Due to a crisis I lost the will to eat after brunch!! However, have just had 2 scrambled eggs on 2 slices w/meal toast (no spread or butter)and am now stuffed…….minus 1 lb this a.m. but weigh in is on Wednesday so will wait and see if that stays off……

    Day 11 Surrey UK FD

That is what I am aiming for today. Hanging in there….

    Day 10 Glasgow NFD

    Day 11 Glasgow NFD

    Day 11 – Staffordshire UK-nfd

Today scales read 148.6 – that’s right that second digit is a 4!!!

Can’t believe it was only a few days ago I was talking about being stuck on a 153lb plateau for 3 months.

Stick with it all you lovely people, and thank you for all your posts helping me stick with it. xxx

    Day 11 Portugal NFD
    63kg

A bit sad to read the scales this morning. Even after three good FDs this week, my weight is up about 0.5kg since my last weigh in on 28th February. I guess I am paying for the four days or so over last weekend when I just ate, ate, ate! Positively, I think I will be very mindful this weekend about what I eat as I don’t want those scales to go up any more!

Going out for lunch, so I will break my fast then. Yesterday was a great FD. A good weekend to everyone!

nfd today was so fed up yesterday having been so good and still not lost a pound have decided to do some hit training (high intensity training )as think my body has got use to the exercise i have been doing so going by the fast book hit seems to be the thing i can try FINGERS CROSSED
DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE BEST HIT I COULD DO PLEASE
