  • Day 16 / Tweed Coast Australia / NFD

Experienced a frustrating dilemma at work and fell into old bad habits of scarfing up food. I work part time in a health food shop, so there are plenty of readily available nuts and seeds in the bulk bins! I chomped more than I required that’s for sure! Tomorrow is my scheduled FD, which is perfect timing!

    Georgia/USA/ Day 16/ NFD:

Gonna try to stick below my TDEE. Sometimes I get ahead of my self and my results. Here’s to thinking before eating! Have a Great DAY !!

    Day 16 USA (Illinois)

NFD – but since these can be so hard, I am sticking with TDEE and even just having my daily apple for lunch. My goal was maintenance for the 2nd half of November and December. So far, so good.

Guess what? ANOTHER health check up today. My Medicare supplemental insurance carrier, Coventry, sends out a doctor to the home for a mini physical. That doctor comes here today, so I get to share our WOL with another doctor. I am still basking in the glory of my regular doctor yesterday. (I really tried to opt out of this doctor today saying how I *JUST* had my physical!) They want to keep their records up to date, the appointment lady said on the phone. I copped out of it last year, but told them I would do it every other year. Oh well….

This time of year can be so awful for those of you who work in environments with great cooks who love to bring treats to work. I remember so well. School teachers’ rooms were awful when I taught. We always were getting peopl bringing in goodies. I know they generally are sweet and delicious! Be strong, fellow Fasters. You have will power. You can use it.

    Onward and downward!

    Day 16 WA USA FD

We had 2 snow days last week and today is the 2nd this week. I made it through a FD yesterday and plan on continuing today. Tomorrow I leave on 10 days away for Christmas travels. Not sure the best plan as I’ll be in other people’s turf.

Suggestions for a doable plan of attack while away from home?

The “REAL” Day 16 – Cumbria UK – FD

@coda and @back2thefuture – I did follow Sarah57 “down the wormhole” as you say – thank you for picking up on that – LOL

Many congratulations to those who hit their goal weights or are on the downward trend – so happy for you all.

I finally managed to catch up with the many posts that I missed out whilst on my visit down south. I really enjoyed reading them and it left me inspired and feeling lucky to see the support available on this forum…… and so here goes with some feedback……….
@manura and @brightonbelle – many congratulations on completing your first B2B2B FDs – it s a good feeling isn’t it! I did my first one after joining this forum as well – had never even contemplated it before.
@coda – loved reading your Gratitude and Strategy article – thank you for sharing
@pissupoosa and @k-lo – belated happy birthdays – sounds like you both had a fab time
@happymargo – I hope you do get to try some Yoga – I really enjoy my 2 classes a week and I try to practice once on my own at home – Yoga has helped me both physically and mentally.
@lynzm and @therealwil78 – I also need structure to help me with this WOL – Each week I look at my diary and plan my FDs and if I have to change one for social reasons I then make sure that I plan another day
@debbieq – poor you – what bad luck – hope you are feeling much better
@wellrounded – great points made in your change in lifestyle post – the issue with portion size is also so true of today’s society and since starting this WOL the biggest change I made with my meals has been my portion size and a reduction in carbs – I started using a smaller bowl or plate from my OH and that has helped a lot.
@songbirdme – WOW and Wow again on your physical – so happy for you – you certainly deserve to shout out about your achievements – great weight loss + feeling fit and happy = what an outcome – Big virtual hug coming your way
@coda – re your Dec 16 post – stay strong – you have got this – you inspire and support so many of us on this forum – Big virtual hug for you too

And finally @goldensun and @coda – I will join you both on your fast starting Sunday – I am doing a Yoga workshop on Sunday 1000-1600 with a light macrobiotic lunch provided so will start my fast after that lunch and planning on breaking my fast on Tuesday late morning

Thank you all for your support on this forum – reading your posts is so inspiring and has certainly helped me achieve my goal weight.

Next doctor gone – my last ‘exam’ with this Medicare supplement plan was 2 years ago. She didn’t have my weight from then on her computer, but did show BMI of 31. Today it is 25.6. Yeah! This doctor was in quite a hurry, so I didn’t really get to tell her too much about our WOL.

AnneMarilyn – I travel quite often, and I have found it pretty easy to fly and fast. I don’t know why. I also found it easier just to tell people you aren’t hungry or even tell them about 5:2. Then they won’t bug you to eat what you know you shouldn’t.

Day 16: Gloucestershire, UK: NFD…..as was yesterday in the end. I just got TOO hungry at 6.30pm (would you believe)!

    Day 16 : Cheshire, UK : NFD

My mind wasn’t properly prepared for a fast day today. I will wait until Sunday evening.

@coda Although I haven’t done this for a couple of weeks, I usually drink two glasses of water when I get up before my herbal tea. That’s approx 500ml before the day starts. Then 6 glasses doesn’t seem as overwhelming as 8 throughout the day. I include herbal teas as fluid intake for my 2litres+ per day.

@songbirdme so happy for you :). Many congratulations!

Day 16: Pacific NW USA, FD, I am going to do a 36 HR “clear liquids” only today, no cream in coffee, in fact no coffee. I just feel like a re-boot is in order. Water and white tea, rinse, repeat!

Stayed up too late wrapping presents so OH could leave early to get ahead of the lines sending boxes. Then woke to realization he had already gone and that we had left some things out of the boxes. So he has just turned around to go get back in the lines. He goes along with my holiday frenzy very admirably but if I don’t watch out I may turn him into a Scrooge!

SongBird – so happy to hear your good news from the medical side and what an endorsement of our WOL!

Rocky – down 1 lb is still down!!! Take heart! After our b2b2b last week I was up 1.2 but I remind myself not to give in to the little wobbles on the scale and a slight up for me is usually because of water retention. And I usually show a loss the next week. Of course now, following bigbooty’s warning, I have inflammation on my mind!

Cathyh46 – I hope you’ve tried the techy dictation options instead of the keyboard. It really saved me back when I had vertigo and headaches so bad I couldn’t look at the phone keypad without falling over.

Reid – I’ve caught you up on the roster so no problem there but here’s hopes for your recovery before travels and to you and everyone soon to be away from home, safe journeys!

Australia Day 17 NFD off to Geraldton for 3 days to attend my nephew’s wedding. Will be lovely to catch up with family. Have a good weekend all and good luck as we head into the last week before Christmas xx

    2nd post
cathyh46 Welcome back! well done on weight loss. I had both wrists done, carpol tunnel is horrid, such a relief after the ops!
Reid I hope you recover before your hols start!

Songbirdme you’re on a roll well done just shows this wol works! Re the choc gifts, my daughter is a teacher and is getting so many sweet treats! She has lost 2stone on 5.2 since August – so proud of her!

Quite a day picked up MIL at 11 and took her to Truro, the traffic was awful!! We just had time to have lunch (mozzarella salad) before getting to the hospital and found the dept we needed was miles from the car park so a good workout pushing the wheel chair! The specialist decided she wanted to remove the growth on MILs face so off we went for a cuppa and back later for treatment! Poor love not nice at 90.
Got home at 6 and had another salad with cottage cheese. I think I came in just over 500cals.

    Good luck all.

    Day 16 UK NFD

Must have accidentally unticked the notify me button, been silent today not getting any of your posts. Missed you lot keeping me on the straight and narrow.

Anyway coughing slightly subsiding, still sound like Barry White, but getting better, indulged in Christmas treats but missed lunch so didn’t over eat, just not healthy choices. Will be over on the calories today but it’s Christmas party time, drinks with a few friends. Still drinking lots of water though also.

Good luck all, gonna catch up on today’s posts now.

    πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Coda – I forgot to add that you are so mindful in your approach and your self-awareness that even when you feel you are due for an adjustment you set a good example for us all. The way of this WOL is to set a course and to stay mindful of where we are relative to our trajectory. The way is never going to be straight and so we make adjustments and see if it gets us back to where we want to be. Thanks for showing us the way you do that!

    Day 16 | FD | Bucks UK

    Day 16 Italy – NFD

Day 17 FD ( will at least try) sunny country West Australia
Yesterday’s FD was going well until the siren song of some gingerbread and mango fruit mince pies whispered to me that I should ‘ buy and try’ which I duly did.

Only ate 1/4 ( 55 calories) and couldn’t decide if I liked them or not, so tried another 1/4 ( 110 calories) and still couldn’t decide … 224 calories later I had eaten the whole thing, decided it wasn’t as nice as the original and I plan not to eat any more until Christmas Day ! but put me over 500 calories for the day.
Coming week not looking good as have social events most days but will do what I can today – given that I have a morning tea this morning for friends.
Was a bit concerned about the reported post. I could only see mine and another immediately above and wondered what I had said to offend anyone. Reading on I saw cat’s urine and witches mentioned so guess I must have missed something?!
Have a beautiful day everyone – only 8 days to Christmas and I LOVE Christmas.
Commiserations and cyber hugs to those doing it tough.πŸ™ƒπŸŒΉ

2nd post – Lilymartin that one crazy post got reported & deleted.

    Day 16 Minnesota, USA NFD
    NFD going well so far.
We were suppose to go to our 4 year old grand daughter’s Christmas program, but we are in a winter storm with storm warnings from national weather center, and the Dept. of Safety put out a statement to stay home. First time that’s happened that I’m aware of! So we chose not to go to the program, with 4 in of blowing snow on ground and still snowing hard, and, let’s be honest, plenty of crazy people driving on the roads. So, we hope our daughter does not mind. Pretty sure granddaughter won’t mind as long as we see her on Sunday.

Snowing, snowing, snowing here. Maybe 6-11 inches by tomorrow noon. We have plenty already on the ground. Then, the snow will start blowing around, and temps will go down to -20 fahrenheit on Sunday morning and wind chill about 51 degrees fahrenheit below zero. That’s -46.111C by the way. Coldest up here in about 10 years, actually. I worry about my wild birds and wild turkeys that we feed and enjoy watching.
We are trying to give them as many seeds and berries as possible so they can keep body temps up throughout the storm and the extreme cold. We worry that their feet will freeze while roosting in the top of our huge, ancient oak tree at night. It happens, I guess. Then their foot bones can break. It’s so amazing to watch them up there with the wind blowing and the cold temps. How do they do it? How do they stay hanging on? A lesson in determination, and perseverance, I guess.

It will be a good weekend to hunker down and watch some movies with my hubby on Netflix or Amazon, I guess. Hopefully, that won’t be an excuse in my mind to overindulge with warm comfort food! Must. Limit. Popcorn (I know YOU understand, Songbird) !
It’s a struggle this time of year (for me, anyway), between being slim and enjoying that feeling, and enjoying comfort food. Sigh. Well, I’m still in healthy BMI, so that’s something. Up 5 pounds from goal but still down 20-22 from start. And making downward progress.
I’m going to make a roast beef stew in the crockpot (slow cooker), tomorrow. Will make it totally organic and lots of healthy vegetables. And I’ll add some of my homemade bone broth for good nutrients and gelatin. I can’t think of anything better when it’s so cold outside.
    Best of luck, everyone!

    Day 16| NFD| Toronto
Really not doing well on the quantity/quality track as the Festivities and Cold Weather take their course.
Best wishes to all on a snowy cold night.

    second post
    thanks for clarification Annemarilyn.
BBrrrrr!! Northern Dawn I can’t imagine it being that cold especially as a week ago it was 40C here and we were bunkered down trying to keep cool. What a wonderful world of extremes and differences we live in.
FD has become another NFD due to being stuck near the food-laden table at morning tea. Literally unable to move because of the crush of people and I had just got my cup of coffee.
So I had: 3 salad sarnies ( sandwiches), 2 sausage rolls and a biscuit with swee -eet icing (sung to the tune of On the First Day of Christmas.) Fortunately I stopped at 3 and didn’t get all the way to 12 food items!
Listening to a CD of Christmas carols and enjoying the feeling of Christmas.🎢

    Day 17, NFD, New Zealand

    Day 16– Colorado, USA– NFD

Had a good day at a matinee movie with DH, then out for local craft beer with chicken wings (for him) & Greek salad (for me.)

Day 17 / Tweed Coast Australia / FD

I’m having a very difficult FD and have thought of throwing in the towel, but am soldiering on for better or for worse. I may have been too ambitious choosing to fast on a day that I also worked, though I thought it being a Saturday and a shorter work day, might be fine. Unfortunately I’m struggling with fatigue, nausea, migraine and brain fog. These are all familiar low cortisol symptoms that I’ve experienced before due to my adrenal weakness. Anyway, it feels too late in the day to abandon my fast so will keep going and see what tomorrow brings.

    Portugal
    Day 16 NFD
Day 17 I am going to attempt a FD even though we will be out for lunch
It is getting harder and harder with all the Christmas activities and food. My parents arrive on Monday for 3 weeks so it will not get any easier. Haven’t weighed in for ages – not good … will need to pluck up the courage..so scared I have gained. My daughter’s 18th tomorrow so more cake.

    Day 17, Australia NFD

Started our road trip this afternoon, we are on the boat tonight to get from Tasmania to mainland Australia. Then the big drive up the coast. Will try to make time to check in.
    Good luck everyone.
Good job Lael finishing your fast despite the difficulty. You’ll be glad you did tomorrow. πŸ˜€

    Day 17 : Cheshire, UK : NFD

Yesterday, I indulged again πŸ™‚ . I feel that I satisfied the need for chocolates etc. Hopefully, I won’t feel the need to indulge again to that extent.

    xoxo

    Day 17Italy – NFD

    Day 17 USA (Illinois) NFD

Doing very well and loving MFP’s ability to track my calories. I am finding myself with lots of days well under TDEE. Best thing is when I see that I have ‘extra’ calories I could eat more that day, but I don’t! Yeah for me! I love to cook various soups this time of year (we’ve had an extremely cold December after a record high November). I made an interesting kind of cream of potato variation with dill pickles yesterday. http://noblepig.com/2013/03/dill-pickle-soup/ for the recipe. That website doesn’t give the calories, but it couldn’t be that bad. I had that with a pan fried pork cutlet.

Lilymartin – I had to laugh at your “1st Day of Christmas” to food! Adorable, and yes, I did sing your food. Congrats for not getting through all 12 days!

LouBelles – a boat trip from Tasmania to mainland sounds so exotic! I am guessing it is a car ferry as well so you drive once on Australia proper? Enjoy your journey!

NorthernDawn – oh yeah, girlfriend, we are so alike. Popcorn – any kind, any time, cheese, butter, flavored salts, caramel, all of them. Have you ever had Chicago’s specialty Garrett? You can buy it at O’Hare too. I have to walk right by if I pass their store. (I so appreciate the smells though.) We’ve got that same storm here but not as much snow as yours. Bears/Packers game tomorrow in Chicago is being advertised as likely the coldest NFL game on history.

Hugs and encouragement to you all. Onward and downward!

    Georgia/ USA/ DAY 16/NFD:

Gonna work hard to stay under TDEE. Didn’t do so good yesterday. Christmas luncheon at work.Uggh! Not gonna let the holiday season do me in! Happy Saturday!

    Day 17 UK FD

Had a good night out last night, casual drinks in the pub, coughing subsided enough for me to have a good time, although when moving from outside to inside seems to start it off again.

This morning different story cough back worse, staying in cancelled all plans. Not such a bad thing gonna use this time as Me time, relax, lovely bath, watch a film, read a book etc. If I don’t talk for a day and a half until I have to work again might actually get better. Coughs do take a couple of weeks and I’m on week two. Haven’t a cold though only a cough so not so bad. Actually looking forward to my silver lining stay at home day.

FD today, warming soup, warm water and lemon. πŸ›€πŸ»πŸ΅πŸ‹πŸ™‹πŸΌπŸ‘

    Day 17 – Cumbria UK – NFD

A successful FD yesterday, stayed well under 500cals – broke my fast by going out to brunch with the OH – had a yummy eggs benedict and a flat white.

Funny old day here – very foggy still……..and much colder than the last couple of weeks…..
Hope it clears up a bit as we have a bit of drive to our local running club xmas dinner tonight. The OH does not drink alcohol so he is always the nominated driver – lucky me. However I shall behave with regards to both food and alcohol tonight as I have my all day Yoga workshop tomorrow and I’m driving 3 friends there.

Positive thoughts to all whether on a FD or not

UK day 17 NFD quick check in , will catch up on posts tomorrow x

    Day 17– Colorado, USA– NFD

Lael– good job soldiering on & completing your fast. Those symptoms sound terrible; I hope they aren’t cropping up on all your fast days. Sending a virtual ((hug)) for support!

Erika– Temptations at every turn this time of year! But 18th birthday is a big milestone, save some calories to enjoy (a tiny slice of) cake with your daughter. Good wishes to you both.

Lou Belles– Bon voyage! Enjoy your road + boat trip. Safe travels.

SongBird– your pickle-potato soup & pork chop dinner sounded awesome. I wouldn’t have dreamed up that soup myself. That recipe looks easy & delicious. Thank you for posting that!

+ NorthernDawn– another popcorn fanatic here! Enjoyed quite a bit of buttery movie theatre popcorn at the matinee yesterday. My fav though is white cheddar, but caramel is quite edible too!

LynzM– ugh, sorry to hear that cough is dragging you down so badly. Have say your “me time” relaxation sounded like a wonderful plan though. Restorative too.

AT– all day Yoga workshop?!? I’m doubly jealous now! Report back on how that goes, please. Enjoy!

    Day 17 WA USA FD?

Beginning road trip in the midst of a weather advisory. Hopefully it won’t be too bad. I think most of the USA is in a deep-freeze by the sound of Minnesota and Illinois…

M,T, Th & F have all been FDs. Was trying to break loose 1 more pound but this morning showed still at 24 lbs lost. I am still grateful for that. Meeting a friend for coffee along the journey today. Will still probably keep it at a FD.

Trying to visualize the ferry from Tasmania to Australia. I agree that it sounds exotic.

Not sure how often I’ll be able to check in during the next 10 days. Heading to eastern Washington then British Columbia.

All the best to everyone on their journey!

    Day 17: Gloucestershire, UK: NFD
Another grey, dark and dreary winter day….roll on the spring! Can’t feel like fasting yet. Maybe Monday.
Went to a “shoppers’ carol service” in the parish church today…I love singing carols.

    Day 17 Cornwall UK NFD
Great to have OH home, enjoyed a lovely long bike ride and the weather has been warm and sunny. Night in with a seafood linguine and a glass of white wine.

Northerndawn oh so cold, I really couldn’t cope with that.

    Happy weekend, onwrds and down!

    Day 17 UK NFD

16/8 but I have to rat myself out. Over TDEE, duck pancakes and wine. At least I seem to be coming to terms that it is an error to think I should be or am ‘entitled to eat three meals a day plus the odd snack. When I think of how I used to behave…really it is a miracle I am not much heavier than I am.

Running around with my grandchildren, playing tig on a dog walk, made me realise just how much easier it is to move fast. I am faster, less oit of breath and just well LIGHTER in body and spirit. This isn’t just about losing some excess weight, it is about reclaiming my life. This year I will lose my remaining excess and will really be able to feel what it is to be properly fit again. X

    Day 17 | NFD | Bucks UK

Day 18, FD, New Zealand. I usually post at the end of the day, but wanted to write my intentions down so that I’m accountable to myself and all of you. I’m doing b2b2b on Sunday,Monday and Tuesday. Just had 270cal breakfast and will have 230 cal dinner tonight.
If anyone wants to join in, you’re all welcome!

    Day 17, Gozo Malta, NFD

I had a 200 calorie breakfast, for lunch I made seafood sauce with konjac spaghetti then had a chocolate truffle and mincepie and a little piece of Christmas cake. I had a liquor this evening with half of a small pepperoni pizza around 550 calories. I think I’ve stayed within my TDEE or just a little over today.

Tomorrow my eldest daughter is baptizing her son who’s going to be five months next week and I’m going to be a godmother to him. Then a lavish lunch out to celebrate.

So many goodies in the house. Its Christmas time and I hope to fast on Monday only this coming week.

Have a great evening/ night everyone.

    Day 17|NFD|Toronto

US SC Day 17 NFD.. Busy day today. Got some major shopping done. Very cold, even this far south. Nice to be home with my shoes off letting my feet rest πŸ™‚

Hello all UK day 17 nfd (11.9)
Just a quick post as am off to bed early. Late night last night, good food and few drinks it takes its toll. Keep warm those of you who have snow and freezing temperatures brrrr! β›„

Day 17: Pacific NW USA, NFD. Breakfast today plus snacks I brought on the train should keep me below TDEE. I weighed this morning after my liquid only FD yesterday and I am back to my lowest weight so I have that reading to visualize as I make food choices over the next 4 days of pre-Christmas celebrations with family. I won’t fast again until mid-week so I am not able to properly join the b2b2b’ers but will have you in my sights and will join you the final day. Which, BTW, gives me a small panic attack. I probably need to check that emotion at it’s roots but it just seems so magical that this IF works so well to take off the pounds and I fear something I do might “break the spell”.

Lael – hope you made it safely through that low cortisol day.

Lynz – your lay-about day sounded wonderful.

For those of us up north on the globe the days are getting shorter as we near the winter solstice, the view out my train window shows pastel colors and little Christmas card vignettes. When I fill in our daily roster I get to see what a very special, stalwart group we are to persevere through the month of December. What a pleasure it is to read about the simultaneous contrasts between the beach parties down under and the coldest NFL game in the Windy City. If you are reading this know that you are special to me!

Day 18 West Australia 16:8 FD
Have a supper tonight after our Carol service so will be cooking later today and eating later tonight.
Lovely mild sunny summer’s day – don’t want to make those in cold areas jealous but I can’t imagine being so cold as you all are. I ‘dips me lid’ to all fasting on these extremely cold/freezing days. So much easier in warmer weather – so well done to all of you.

LynzM- have you had your cough checked out? We had a shocking cold/cough/flu bug this winter. It was called the 90 day cough as it took some people 3 months to get rid of it and some people are actually getting it again now.
2 friends got their coughs checked out and they had whooping cough – don’t want to be alarmist at all, but just concerned.
Am off to church to sing carols this morning and hopefully stay away from the yummiferous morning tea.
Enjoy your day everyone – thinking of you all.

    Day 17 – Canada – NFD

A busy morning delivering 15 Christmas food hampers to families in town. Out for breakfast with my husband afterwards. Then home to shovel snow and fill the bird feeders. Put Christmas tree up later in the afternoon so now it’s really “beginning to feel a lot like Christmas” 🎼🌲 Freezing ice pellets tonight – very very slippery.

    Day 17 Minnesota, USA NFD
I haven’t done too badly today, considering. I’m a bit over TDEE. I limited the popcorn, at least. It’s harder for husband and I to avoid nibbling when we are somewhat housebound by the cold weather. I did have some time outside this morning shoveling a walk, but it was so cold when the wind blew that I didn’t stay out very long. The Norwegians say there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. HMMMM. I was dressed quite warmly with mask and all, but that cold just somehow permeated to the bone. Tomorrow will be another NFD and also another day inside, as it will be the coldest morning in 10 years…
Lael, I hope you made it through your FD, and that you can get some rest. Fatigue makes fasting such a struggle sometimes. HappyMargo, I love cheddar cheese popcorn as well. My favorite! Songbird, I will have to look up Garret’s popcorn. But maybe I shouldn’t tempt myself….. I will, though. πŸ˜‰
Sarah57, it does feel so very good to feel lighter and able to run around without shortness of breath. I try to remember how I felt when I began 5:2 last April, when I was 22 pounds heavier, and it helps me to focus on my FDs and remember why I’m doing this.
Lynz and others who are feeling poorly, I hope you can rest and hydrate and get over the “bugs” you’ve picked up. Coughing is so exhausting. You really should consider having that checked out.
Best of luck and health to everyone!

    Day 18 UK FD

    Hello all,

Thanks for all those who replied and told me to get my Cough checked out by doctor, now think I might have laid it on a bit thick I am absolutely ok other than the cough, I have no cold, just a cough, so if I don’t talk, don’t eat, and don’t change environment I seem to be fine πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Might go to the docs to pick up some anti biotics just to get rid as medicine not doing anything. Thanks all X

So 2nd FD today, read somewhere that the 2nd FD if done two in a row gets you straight into fat burn, is this correct. If so that helps. Also 2nd day for me seems to be easier!

Weekend will be 2 FDs and relaxing indoors, (enforced by cough) but been actually a lovely weekend. Might do it more often. I like to hibernate in the winter. Hot relaxing bath, films, read, manicure, pedicure, daytime nap😳😴etc.

Found out that I treat myself with food, when actually there are plenty of other things to treat myself with.

    Happy day all πŸ˜€

    Day 18 – Melbourne – FD (surprisingly)
Just decided to fast, on waking up, as I have been eating close to ‘normally’ (ie too much, and too much bread!) for the last three days with guest here. Taking her sightseeing and then having family over to share her last dinner – it was just too easy to indulge. Hope to do a b2b, but will see. Sister, who is a big Foodie, arrives on Thursday so more indulgence is just around the corner. I think maybe I won’t weigh until January, and a couple of fasts in, not to demotivate myself.

Actually have been feeling a little queasy in the stomach whilst eating old-normally. New-normal eating is clearly better all round.

Hang in there, everyone – this silly season will be over in the blink of an eye and we can settle back in to judicious eating and steady downwardness again πŸ’ƒπŸ»

Day 18, FD, New Zealand. 2nd post: FD went really well,no issues at all. Ready for mon and tues!
