Uncertain on calories

  • the initial calculator asked for my details which I entered and then it gave my results, I am confused about the TDEE as it says it’s what you need to maintain your current weight, but I actually want to lose weight and not maintain what I already am?

    Can anyone help explain this?

    TDEE applies to your 5 non diet days – you don’t want to go over it. On your two diet days, you are under it and that is how you lose weight.
