    been searching 4 a low carb low calorie healthy pyramid

    especially being type2

    getting so many confusing messages

    2 much cals for 5- 6oz required a day

    maybe i should cut in half grain increase veg?

    as u can c 2 have a 5 oz-6 oz a day
    it would b 500 – 800 cals

    examples of whole grain eaten

    Oatmealbran, instant, plain, cooked (no fat added)
    1 cup = 2 oz. 100 cals

    Rice, sprouted brown annie chuns
    1 cup = 2 oz. 270 cals

    Quinoa, cooked
    1 cup = 2 oz. 222 cals

    Shredded Wheat’N Bran Cereal
    1 cup = 1½ oz. 164 cals

    Popcorn, air-popped (no butter or oil added)
    4 cup, popped = 1½ oz. 124 cals
