Hi Target and welcome:
Many have lost much more than 4 stone with 5:2. It will take time, though, as the average weight loss over time is about a pound a week.
Here is some information: https://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/the-basics-for-newbies-your-questions-answered/
Good Luck!
Hi Target14,
I just want to tell you that 4+ stone is certainly do-able!
I started with MUCH more than that to lose.
I have found that weight loss is slow but steady. I hit the occasional plateau, but push through and the weight starts to drop again.
Personally, I have already lost much more than 4 stone (hard to say exactly how much I have lost – I couldn’t weigh myself accurately at first)…most of it on 5:2. (I have a thread documenting my progress over the last 3 stone or so).
Read the link given by simcoeluv, work out your non-fast day figure with the site tool, and give it a go!
Best of luck!
