  • Hi everyone! I am 27 y.o. healthy girl, 165cm (5’4″) height and 54 kg (119 pounds) weight so I actually not that into weight loss but into strengthening my health. I work out HIIT 3-4 times a week, some times i run 4 km 4 times a week or go to the gym and eat VERY healthy.
I never had ant tests done before so I want to start this diet but first to see where I am at and in 6 months do tests again and compare the results.

Please help me understand what tests are important to do so i can track my health progress.

Hi Sasha! Congratulations on wanting to further your healthy lifestyle in this way!! The tests that would be good for you to have your physician order would be primarily: Lipid Profile(tests cholesterol both HDL(good) and LDL(bad)as well as triglycerides). If you are diabetic, you would also want to have your hGbA1c(hemoglobin A1c)tested as well, which measures your average blood sugars in a 3 month time frame. Those are the two major ones that I know of to do prior. You are quite young to worry about your brain benefits from this although some would say you are never too young which is also true, but Dr. Moseley does discuss the repair of cells throughout the body occurring including the brain,in his book so something like Luminosity would be a place to start with that. Hope this helps and good luck to you!
