Day 9 Belfast NFD 🐢🍷💪
Enjoyed a couple of glasses of sav blanc last night with smoked salmon. Yum
@bigviking that puts a whole new slant on the saying ‘filling your father’s shoes’ – now it’s ‘filling your son’s trousers!’ Fantastic result.
Welcome @fancy finch, gratitude and @
Mimi Anne -any day is a good day to start on your journey to good health! It certainly looks like you’ve taken the bull by the horns fancy finch!
@dykask enjoy your trip
@daffodil2010 sounds great. Enjoy!
@mari – enjoyed your story!
@califdreamer – 2 years now. My mum was at the end of her life, had heart failure and this fuelled my decision to quit. I live a flight away, so i was able to stay with her a week at a time. I shared the caring with my sister and that took the heat off her a bit. Mum died in December 2015 so by the time we’d all her affairs sorted it was spring 2016. OH and I went to Rhodes then Australia/NZ for 9 weeksam last autumn. I am now very busy with exercise classes, the garden, catching up with friends, travel, the caravan, I’ve signed up for an art class this autumn but I still have lots of time on my hands and I really miss the company and craic in work. It will beat a new challenge. Keep moving at all costs!
@mogaman enjoy your wedding
Yes @coda ‘bendy’ is the operative word! Confronted last year with a beautiful wood floor in my class and only my friend as a witness I did a passable cartwheel (was a sport/gymnastics/ballet fiend in my childhood/early teens) BUT I should have stretched before and the muscles on the inside of my thighs were sore for days! That’ll teach me to show off!
Sorry to see you go @quebecoise and bonne chance.
@linda sue I would have ‘despatched’ those wasps before I painted!
Sorry for the long post.
Keep fighting those dragons!
