Started nearly a year ago after reaching a weight I was ashamed of, and have kept to the 2 non-consecutive days 500 calorie rule and really have not found it hard, and is the most sustainable diet I have ever done. My husband just didn’t believe it could possibly work!! It really does become a way of life. If necessary I have changed the days – I have lost two & half stone and am delighted. My hips and knees no longer get sore when I play golf and have more energy. Did have two plateau periods in the summer but just kept going. I did cut out some of the sugar I had in my tea with sweeteners and this has certainly helped. At my annual health check up the nurse said I should aim at 13 stone but I want to lose another 10 lbs and then shall just do 1 day a week. This will give me a little lee way. I weigh once a week and have aimed to lose 1lb a week. Slow is best I believe!
