  • CHARMAINE maybe you cant fast coz you need to feed your family,
i still have big issues with sticking to one portion with my mum, but on my own at work i can fast easily

    hi david,

hope all is good for you.

can I ask what you eat on your fast days? not sure if your mum is the same but mine is elderly and i think it has something to do with rationing but she believes in feeding people. she is always asking if you want something and making extra dinner for me to take home, which is lovely of her and i am often grateful i don’t have to cook when i get in but she is a nightmare as soon as she hears the word diet!! there’s sparks coming off the cooker as she cooks more food lol

You Ladies are simply AWESOME 🙂
Taletha/Pam your post to Charmaine was simply wonderful , Your brill ,and will give each and everyone of us massive confidence , Thank you Pam x

Jeannie , I think i have replied to your FB requset and i have sent you an invite to join our private group on there, I think we are all similar when it comes to talking about diet in public , thats the reason i thought of it in the first place,( though Credit must go to Charmaine, Karen & Mel ) So it is a private group but anyone who is serious about this thread can join us.
we can say anything we like to each other on there and we can use it anytime .

TBH i am very excited by it, as it gives us all another avenue of support for each other.
I hope your Fast Day is going well for you too Jeannie , and as for your 11 yr old . of course you are worried , thats cos your a good Mum . He will be in all our thoughts x

OK i will go for now and see you all on FB .
May the Calorie force be with you all 🙂

    Hi lancsken

When I used to notice this thread initially and your username in particular; I didn’t look at your actual signing off name.
And obviously I didn’t have a clue that you came from Lancashire and were using that in your username……..

So your username to me looks as if it would be a males name from somewhere like India or Poland; it just sounds foreign if you don’t know what it is short for!

I know that sounds as if it makes no sense at all……:-)

    BooBooxx

Hi BooBoo . yes i does make sense and thanx for taking the time to explain , I hope your Fasting is going good for you , and it is really nice to see you on this thread 🙂

    Ken x

Hello good people. Popped into the site before I left work. On my way to the gym on a rainy Tuesday. It’s 3:00pm in my CST Midwest USA world. Wish I could address each of you personally, but I’m on the run.

Ken – my Facebook is Dee Lakey Chesnut (watch out and don’t put a ‘t’ in the middle of the last name. There’s only a ‘t’ at the end of the name. Chesnut is my husband’s Irish name (County Antrim). I guess that’s how they spelled the nut at one time. (the actual nut, not my husband) Ken, I searched your name and I found a handsome, 22 year-old university student from the States, University of Kansas. Someone has your name! But an international name for you did not pop up. Is this a problem for Facebook? I have no idea. I’m not on Facebook daily, but I would enjoy being a part of your group.

Hi Charmaine – I’m still working in HITs at the gym, although I rode 6 miles around a lake on Sunday. Steady pace, no HIT! Didn’t work out yesterday, but back at it again today.

Hello Jeannie. Jean is my middle name. I don’t think they’ll get us confused.

Hello to all. Looking forward to hearing about holiday travel. David, keep moving. David is my son’s name, so it makes me smile when I see your name. Sending positive thoughts for fast days. I’ve been doing 4:3 but it will be 5:2 this week. My best to all

    Jean

    Hi all,
    I am definitely a 5:2 convert
Have been on it since Sept 2013 and have lost 14 Kg
Was 93Kg at start of the 5:2 journey and am now 78Kg
    Lost 9cm around the waist
If you read my profile it will tell you more of what I have done.
It works and stick at it, I have tried a myriad of diets over my lifetime but to no or little avail.
Stay positive and the benefit will be your well being and happiness in your life.
Nothing creates more joy for me than buying 94cm jeans after starting out wearing 104cm jeans.

Hello my dear dear fasting family! Thank you for your kind words taletha, Pam, Ken, jeandee, david…yes…it is cos I cook for my family…but also becos i am a huge emotional eater…had a bad day..eat a cookie…had a happy day…eat a cookie 🙂 im trying to reward or comfort myself with other things as I continue on this journey….kjbee…welcome to this thread…ur progress is so exciting and inspiring…it is what we all need to hear…my goal is to knock of 20k at the most…do continue to share ur progress and we will cheer u on.

can u share with us what u ate on fast and non fast days…any other aspects that worked for you and didnt?

Kjbee… my name is charmaine btw…i just saw your point about everything being explained on your profile…thanks for sharing…it is excellent to see ur success. I have also learned that weighing out ur food is key….as I always underestimate calories and eat more….will do better now…

Morning All, fast day for me today, and maybe Friday to make this week a 4:3 to get me back on track.

Good to read all your updates…keep at it lovely people!

Will pop in later for an update.

    la_dolce_vita_222 :aka Charmaine,
The digital kitchen scale that I purchased when I started was the Propert, 5Kg slimline glass nutition scale, model 1219.
The scales come with a book were you enter a number into the scales computer and it gives you the calories per ounces or grammes whatever you use these days.
Being in Australia you might hunt around for them if you are in the UK.
I also purchased a set of Weight watchers digital bathroom scales, that give your Weight, BMI and Water%.
You set up your own age, height in a dedicated programme and you can see your progress.
I am not a fan of jumping on the scales every week but prefer to weigh myself once a month after a fasting day.
Food wise, I am very regimented, one egg on toast, lightly buttered.
Lunch, an apple and some times a cup of chicken broth ,or bonox
Eving meal is a diet frozen food dish from the supermarket.
I,m not fussy what the meal is as long as it gets me under and near 600 calories.
Charmaine, stick with it and everyone else on here because it it life changing.
If you want anymore information please don’t hesitate to ask.
    Take care
    Kerrin 🙂
PS, my joy today was buying two pairs of 36″ waist, jeans and I can get into them comfortably.

Charmaine, I’m very regimented as well on my fast days. It’s just easier for me that way, to not have to really think about what I’m going to eat on those days. For breakfast, I cook up 1 C of egg whites with some diced ham, and I have a slice of gluten free toast with it. If I get hungry during the day, I will have a cup of chicken broth. I drink close to a gallon of water, if not more, on fast days to keep the hunger at bay. Then, for dinner, I have a four ounce Tilapia fillet, and a very large bowl of broccoli.

I, too, am an emotional eater. I try to frequently remind myself, when I’m heading for food to respond to an emotional issue, the saying “if hunger is not the problem, then food is not the answer”. 🙂
Jean – nice to meet you! Where in the midwest are you located? I’m in Ohio 🙂 I, too, am doing 4:3.

Paradise1 – I hope your fast day is going well today!

Kjbee – thanks for the encouragement. I LOVE hearing these success stories! Those are some amazing stats!

My fast day yesterday was my best one yet. Wow. I was truly not feeling very hungry the whole day! Because I wasn’t hungry early on, I was able to push my breakfast out a little later, which I think helped me through the day. I had yoga to go to last night, so I ate my tilapia before I left for class, but didn’t have time to make the broccoli and eat it. After class, I wasn’t hungry, and ended up calling it a night, so I actually went to bed with only about 400 calories for the day. I hope tomorrow’s fasting day goes as well!

I realize that yesterday was a fast day, and that the scale will reflect that, but I’m loving this! Stepped on the scale again this morning, and on day 12 of this plan, I’m down 6.5 lbs! There is nothing like seeing progress to keep a person motivated!

    good morning all,

jeandee – I have just added you on FB so you will see a request from pam. sounds as if you are doing great at the gym. well done you.

kjbee – your words give so much encouragement to me personally as a new starter. like you I have tried many diets so it’s nice to know that this one works and is sustainable.

paradise – good morning and good luck with your fast day. mine is tomorrow so am having a look at different foods today for their calorific content.

good morning to anyone I missed and chat soon

    take care all x

kerrin – just read your profile and you truly are an inspiration. brilliant new the 36″ jeans!!!

Jeannie – hi and well done on yesterdays fasting. sounds like it was a good day. 6.5lbs in 12 days is brilliant. good luck for more of the same

taletha- the proof will be when i weigh in THIS FRIDAY! SO I WOULD NOT SAY i am an expert… but…. coz i have a skin allegy and a sinus problem that goes back to my childhood, i try to avoid “complex carbohydrates”/processed/supermarket prepared foods which have flour/wheat/ dairy/lots of other additives,so on my fast days i drink water in the morning and avoid breakfast and makes m hungry the rest of the day when i am prone to binging, then for lunch(ugh ugh) have fresh tomatoes that you get in a salad and fresh mushrooms since they make me feel full and a savoury-weird i know taletha-i will know on friday! and dont hold my hopes up as for dinner my mum gives me a cooked dinner and wants my to have 2nd helps-but she sticks to rice since potatoe is “acid” and rice and beans/legumes/fresh veg etc are alkali and keep down inflammation.

yes i agree taletha its all to do with days when she grew up with rationing; so cake baking; using things up was very important

Sounds like we have some serious contenders on the 5:2 here.
My adage is not how fast you can lose the weight but to me it is what weight I lose and I am in it for the long haul.
I am always remindfull of the fact that the weight I lose over the period of time
I have been on the 5:2 is fat, not only on the outside of my body but also internally
I rejoice knowing I am losing unwanted fat around my organs, heart, liver and kidneys.
That has got to be good for our health and wellbeing don’t you think???
I have enjoyed watching my belly get flatter 🙂
If you are a great cook go with the fancy recipes.
Personally, I like to to use the KISS method,” Keep It Simple Stupid.”
On none fast days I eat pretty normally, having said that I still have a block of chocolate in the pantry that I brought before I started the 5:2.
I am not aiming at a specific weight now but I want to get my BMI down to under
    25.
That is when I will break out the block of chocolate, yaaaah. 😉

hi david – not sure about the tomato and mushroom combination but it seems to suit your taste buds so go for it. I sincerely hope Friday is a good day for you :))

kjbee – I am here for a while. I want to lose a fair few pounds and would prefer to do it steadily and keep it off than lose huge amounts in one go and put it back on when eating “normally” (for want of a better word)

kjbee – I totally agree with you. Slow and steady wins the race. My results have been much, much faster than I anticipated, but I’m doing 4:3, but that’s only because I’m trying to get a kick start before my vacation in a few weeks. My actual goal was to lose at a rate of about a pound a week, or at least to have that as an average. I figured that there will be weeks where the loss is great, and others where there is no loss at all, but overtime, if I can average a loss of about a l lb overall each week, I figured that was a good, healthy way to do it.

Ken, I totally could not do the mushroom and tomato combo. Tomato’s are the one thing that I simply cannot even get myself to choke down! lol

Thank you Kerrin and Jeannie! That was very helpful. I agree it is a way of life and to see the fat melt away slowly ans steadily will surely do good. I am trying to keep it simple…i believe that really works. Many many congratulations on 36″ pants and 6.5 lbs…both of you!! Wow!! 🙂

David…good luck for.friday!! Im sure u will be fine 🙂

Taletha..Debby…Ken…Karen…do well!! 🙂 keep us posted.

    Hello all.

I’ve not been on here for a while, but I’m so pleased I started this diet. Since October I have lost 17.5 kilos (and 6 points on the BMI scale) – and that’s with enjoying Christmas, Easter and a week’s holiday. It is so effective. It’s a joy getting into smaller sized clothes….and even some of my shoes fit better. I’m half way to my goal and I’m now able to move more easily and walk up inclines without having to stop. So, good luck everyone! Keep going….it’s worth it!

75 cals on a jammie dodger tday-think i will have ryvita-35 cals a slice- stick to your goal jeannie and then any extra is a bonus

no carb tnight as weigh in tomoz

i dont hold high hopes f tomoz taletha- but hey ho i will just take it and face it

Another day over for me and tomorrow my fast day,
Tomorrow for breakfast is a scrambled egg on toast, lunch,an apple and for dinner, a piece of fish,100 grams of potato chips with a summer salad
Lion willow , wow,you are really flying with the weight loss.
What an inspiration for us all.
What was your original weight when you started???
What is your ultimate weight loss goal???
A drop of 6 of your BMI is fantastic, once again what was your original BMI and your goal BMI??
Would someone like to explain the 4:3 fast and the fasting regime???
I can’t say it would be for me, sounds a bit drastic to me.
For another day great for weight loss and a healthier future.
    😉

hi lion – you are doing really well and it’s so encouraging to hear success stories.

david – good luck for tomorrow. anything is a bonus so even if you dont lose there’s a fair chance your health and well-being are improving. judging by the posts you have well so far so should be congratulating yourself already. jammie dodgers are a bit high!! luckily i’m not keen so i’m safe there 🙂

Kj – good luck with the fast day tomorrow. i’m doing mine today but extremely hungry for some reason. not felt this way before so must just be having one of those days!! although i’ve not been on here long, from what i have read on different posts, i believe it is the same as 5:2 only you swap over to 4:3 meaning you have 4 “normal” and 3 fast days. i’m sure someone will help us out if i have gone wrong with that info.

hi everyone else. hope you all having a successful week

kjbee y dont u weigh in fridays and fast earlier in the week like quite a few of us?

i mean you are an old soldier and have joined our blog so not a bad idea?

Hi everyone, and I’m going to have to catch up with our newest members when I come home. Thanks for the Facebook friend requests too!
Well we’re packed up and sitting in reception waiting for dinner at 7pm then our taxi should arrive around 8 and its off to the airport at Marrakech for our 11.40 flight back to Manchester. Had a brilliant time, nice hotel, food and people, oh and don’t forget the cocktails of which I have had a fair few! I’m straight back on 5:2 on Monday with my first day back at work and hopefully I haven’t done too much damage with all the food/drink. I know it’ll go if I have though so not worrying about it too much, I’m sure I’ll be back where I was soon enough.
Well back to my cocktail and I’ll check in with my weight tomorrow

Hello to all the great 5:2 people on here
davidrob I normally fast on Tuesday and Friday as I find them convenient for me.
As to weighing, I believe that weighing less rather often is better.
I have always weighed on a monthly basis and think if you believe in and are doing the 5:2 you will have lost weight 😉
Weighing too often can cause angst, and frustration with minor weight variations on a day to day basis.
Taletha, thanks for your comments and have the joy of standing in front of a mirror and saying,”is that the thinning me?” LOL

thks taletha and kjbee what are your facebook names? over 3 weeks i was DOWN DOWN DOWN! but only 4 lbs thats fine by me- my next weigh in will be in 2 weeks-as you say kjbee it causes less angst and keeps u motivated better-it doesnt seem long ago that aren and charmaine were here on a friday

Morning guys, I’m back in the UK and about 5lb heavier! That’s pretty normal for me the day I get back from holiday though. I seem to retain a lot of fluid on the flight so usually I drop a lb or so the day after. Just going carefully this weekend to ease myself back into 5:2 then back with avengence on Monday.

    Bye for now x

Morning Everyone. and what a good one it is for me . I at my weigh in i have lost another 2.5 lb so i now weigh 12 st 4.5 lb which means i have now officially lost over a stone yipeeee 🙂 my bmi is down to 26.3 so its all good this morning

JeanDee sorry i havnt sent you a freind request for FB i am going to do it after i post this article x

Have a fantastic weekend everyone , and to everyone who is weighing in today Good Luck . and to everyone who is fasting today
MAY THE CALORIE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL 🙂
and to everyone else may the calorie force be with you too
    ken
    x

david – you sound much happier today 🙂 4lb is a good loss. slow and steady wins the race so they say. my name on FB is pam jo and is a picture of two cats sleeping on the sofa

Karen – welcome back to the UK. hard to get back into the swing after a nice break but 5lb isn’t bad for two weeks of being relaxed and enjoying yourself. as you say some will be water and I was always told by a slimming club leader that if you had a quick gain it didn’t have time to settle and soon shifted again!! (not sure how true it is but a pleasant thought lol)

ken – as I said in the group, brilliant loss. well done you. you’ll be running around after your grand daughters with renewed vigour. have a lovely time in oxford.

hi to everyone else. have a good Friday

    take care all x

    Hello everyone!!

Lionwillow….congrats and that is surely impressive and inspiring! You and Kjbee gave us some good boost! 🙂

David…and Ken…AWESOME!!! David…who would have thought we would grow into this nicr big family eh? I remember I was sooooo thrilled when you responded to my post and continued to stick around :))

karen…same here….I put on 5-6 lbs after flights and it takes me a week to knock it off naturally…it is just water..belive u me. We will cheer u on

Pam…:) good day and take care! 🙂

    Hi Everybody!

Karen, welcome back! I, too, always seem to retain some fluid after traveling, whether by flights or car. I’m sure it will fall off quickly. And sounds like you are determined to get back on track next week!

David…four pounds down in three weeks is great! I read a LOT of the threads in the forums, and the “average” loss always seems to work out to be 1 lb per week. Some weeks you will lose more, and some less, so you are doing great!

Taletha, is today a fast day for you? I hope you are doing well!

Today is day 14 of being on the plan, and I am still down a total of 6.5 lbs, so quite happy with that. I have a feeling the losses will slow down, and I’m fine with that. Still hoping to lose up to 2lbs per week for the next few weeks, as right now, I’m doing alternate day fasting. I truly didn’t plan on doing that, but because of holidays and birthday/graduation parties that I have upcoming, I have planned out the next few weeks and in order to “enjoy” those special days, I needed to plan my fast days around them. And that just happened to be every other day. Not sure how I feel about it. I’ve fasted Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday this past week. Normally, I would have today and tomorrow as “feast days”, but because fathers day is Sunday, I decided to fast tomorrow instead. Honestly, my last two fast days have been a breeze, so I’m not too concerned. But we’ll see. I am DEFINITELY NOT doing alternate day fasting once I return from vacation!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. We have some great weather in store for us here, so I hope to spend much of mine outside!

hi Jeannie, yesterday (Thursday) was my fast day. it went ok in the end. I was starving early on for some reason but it ended up as a good day. I always get weighed on a sunday as I see it as more of a realistic figure for me personally. everyone has their own methods with none being right or wrong. just what suits the individual I suppose. 6.5 lbs is a brilliant loss, you must be so proud of yourself. you are brave doing every alternate day but if you have something special in mind you are aiming towards I think it helps and makes it worthwhile, (although I don’t blame you for not doing it after your holidays)

Charmaine – thank you for your good wishes and I wish you a lovely weekend with your family

    take care all x

Good morning from a wet Darlington.
Firstly I’ve sent both JeanDee and JeannieOH a facebook request so if you get a request from someone from the UK it’s me!

Well weighed in again this morning to check if some of my flight/water weight had gone and thankfully 1.5 lbs down, phew! That’s despite a large Chinese takeaway last night and wine (well officially still on my holidays until Monday) so I’m pleased with that!

Well Ken you have done well with another 2.5 lbs off and over a stone overall, proud of you. Ron put around 7 lbs on over the holiday with all he ate (plus lots of beer lol) but I’m guessing when he gets up this morning some of that has gone. He’d lost around 17 lbs before we went away and I’m sure he’ll easily get back to what he was because he actually found it much easier to lose than me (drat and double drat). As I keep mentioning I’m sure the lads are finding it much easier than us girlies. So I’m guessing you’re watching the footie Ken? As you know we’re not football fans in our house but I’ve got my son staying this weekend and he’s taking over the telly (well he’s trying anyway)! I suppose I should hang my England flag out of the window today seeing as how we play our first match tonight but seem to have lost it somewhere…..!

Well better go for now, Harvey will be needing his walk shortly so that’ll be my first bit of exercise for nearly 2 weeks (well unless you count moving my sunbed around or lifting up cocktail glasses that is) so I’ll check in with you all later – must say I’ve enjoyed reading all the posts I’ve missed while I was away and a big welcome to our new members too.
    x

Well looks like all is quiet on our thread this weekend, just seems to be me rambling on to myself!

I’m down another lb so since landing I’ve lost 2 lbs so only another another 3 to go to get back to where I was before I went and I’m sure that will come off fairly quickly once I start fasting again tomorrow.

How’s everyone else doing? Ken, you’ve been quiet this weekend too, seems we lost the football last night and I imagine you stayed up to watch it.

So I’m back to making soup for work again today. I’ve got no days off the next couple of weeks so won’t be doing as much exercise with Harvey so will have to be very strict with myself. I’m hoping I get back to pre-holiday weight in 2 or 3 weeks but if not I know I’ll get there in the end so not worried too much about it.

Charmaine, how are you getting on? It sounds like you had a bit of a wobbler after your holiday break and had a bit of a problem getting back on the wagon? Well there’s 2 of us now so lets cheer each other on with this.

Well I’m going to go out with Harvey and get a bit of exercise around the park, at least it’s fine this morning so no wet weather gear needed!

    Take care all x

    morning karen,

it is quiet on here this weekend.

ken has gone to visit his grand daughters this weekend in oxford and will be enjoying himself at a kiddies birthday party 🙂

you are doing brilliantly losing your few pounds holiday gain and should be back to your pre weight soon by the sounds of it. i would imagine harvey was thrilled to see you on your return. i love the excitement dogs have when they havent seen you for a few days.

i lost another 2lbs this week so am pleased with that and will be fasting again tomorrow

hi to everyone else and take care all xx

Hello to all and a very good morning!

Well done Karen and Pam! So good to get those pounds off! Ken – hope your granddaughters helped you burn a lot of calories 🙂 David…well done again and keep it going!

Quiet weekend for me as well…spent Sunday with dad as we celebrated father’s day…Satuday and Friday night were both very very very late nights…got to bed at 2 AM as we had friends for dinner. Realized it just messes up with your system – eating rubbish, feeling lethargic…but it’s tough to stay awake that long and not feel hungry especially when everyone around you is munching and drinking 🙂

I am doing the 4:3 this week and I am feeling very very positive! Wish me luck folks and here’s wishing you all an excellent week!

    Good morning to all.

I’m back on the wagon again, actually it’ll be nice to fast after more than 2 weeks eating and drinking what I wanted. I somehow managed to put a lb back on by this morning so now got about 4 lbs to lose but hey ho I’ve had a good fortnight off and now the serious business begins again!

I might join you on 4:3 this week Charmaine to give my body a good kick up the butt and maybe shock it into losing some of it’s holiday weight. I’m not really calling it fat because the way I see it the weight hasn’t settled for long, went on fast so hopefully will come off just as fast but we’ll see, I’m in no rush.

I’m back at work this morning and for the next 2 weeks I’m working full time and don’t get my usual Wednesdays off because my colleague is on her hollidays until the end of the month so I’m hoping being really busy on my own at work will keep my mind off eating.

Well better go for now, good luck all us fasters and let me know how you go later. x

A very good morning to all you ‘fasters’.
One week in and 4 lbs down! I have done 3 fast days, as per The Fast Beach Diet , and quite honestly am not finding it too hard.
I drink lots of good coffee, herbal teas, an occasional Bovril and soda water through the day and have a substantial plate of meat/fish and veg (paleo style) in the evening. Cutting out alcohol for 6 weeks. I now feel that I have got my head into this WOE. My fast days are Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Got to go, my coffee pot is calling me!! x

gb – well done to you. that’s a good loss.

Karen – you’ll be ready for another holiday by the end of the month :)) I’m sure your 4lbs will disappear. as you say it isn’t stubborn weight that’s been there for ages so will probably soon go.

Charmaine – good luck with your 4:3. it is hard to abstain when everyone is eating and its surprising how all those little bits add up. I had quite a shock when I put all mine into MFP one day!!

hope everyone has a good day and take care all x

Hello everyone, from a knackered Grandad lol . Oh I loved every second of it hee hee , So as you can all gather I had a lovely weekend with the 2 little ones, Ive come home for a rest ha ha 🙂
Well I notice that a lot of you are doing 4:3 this week , so I will give you all the support I can , …… Get in there YOU CAN DO THIS …..

Hi everyone, had a very busy and social weekend and have put on 1lb this week which isn’t much of a surprise really. I am doing 4:3 this week, today is nearly done so I may well hop off to bed early to make it easier. Its gonna be tough for the next few weeks what with the football (football mad family) on but I really need to get my head in this as the holiday is approaching fast and I want to drop another 6lbs before I go in 6 weeks which I think is very doable. Good to hear everyone is getting on well and keeping motivated. Speak to you all tomorrow x

Good morning everyone. Well I’m down by 1.5 lbs since yesterday after my 1st fast so really happy with that, only 2.5 lbs to go to my pre-holiday weight.

Pareadise, don’t worry about that lb, if it went on quickly it should go quickly (well that’s my theory anyway). 6 lbs before your holiday is very doable so just keep on the wagon and you’ll get there.

Ken, sounds like you had a great weekend with the grandkids, they do tire us oldies out though lol! Your calorie force seems to be going well and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a loss for you too this week.

Well this is a quick one because got to dash to work so keep strong everyone and I’ll check in later. x

    Hello everyone ,
Paradise dont even think about you 1 lb , just stay with us we will help you loose it and more 🙂 come on girl ….. you CAN do this . cos Ken says so lol , stay focused on your holiday thats all , your going to have a great time.
Karen , yes keep them fingers crossed for me , cos i would like to loose a bit more this friday , and yes the grandchildren di tire us out but its a happy tired if you see what i mean 🙂
as for the footy didnt Germany play well last night.
as for 5:2 i had a good fast day yesterday , i did go ever so slightly over my 600 cals but im not going to beat myself up about it, as i did get some exercise in as well,
well I know a lot of you are doing 4:3 this week so keep up the good work , just stay with us and we will all be winners 🙂
May the calorie force be with us all

Hello to all! Having a decent day today 🙂 Paradise, Ken and Karen are right…ignore the lb increase, just stay on track with us.

Well done Karen! 1.5 lbs off…and only 2.5 to go…super! Ken…will keep our fingers crossed for you…you will do well.

Going to go eat my meal now! Ciao everyone!

    hi all,

paradise – a pound increase will soon go so don’t let it torment you. as you say 6lb in six weeks is easily doable.

ken – glad you had a lovely weekend with your grand children. I don’t think a few calories between friends will damage your chances of a loss too much. you are doing so well and are an excellent mr motivator – keep up the good work.

david – not heard from you from a few days after your brilliant loss last week. come back and have a chat with us all. let us know how you’re doing

hi to everyone else. keep going. I love hearing about your individual days as to how your diet journeys are going.

    take care all x
