  • I’ve been fasting for 8 weeks using 16 to 8.

I eat between 10 am to 6 pm.

7am I weigh myself I have less muscle mass and more fat than when I weigh myself at 8 pm. After eating daily food I have more muscle and less fat. This is every day. The difference in fat can be 5% BMI with a drop of 4% of muscle mass.

If I take the evening reading fasting has been a success if I take morning, well not so much.

    Can any one explain this?

    Hi,

Scales that purport to be able to measure body fat percentage are not very accurate. If you are losing weight don’t worry about it as you’ll be losing fat.

Since your scale estimates BF by electrical conductivity of your body, hydration can cause a big swing in the results. Pick one time of the day and measure your changes that way once a week.

It’s just a trend indicator not an accurate measure of BF
