  • Started 5:2 January 2013.
After six months went 6:1 and weight remained constant until holiday.
Then followed Christmas and although only marginal weight gain I decided to return to 5:2.
Just achieved my target weight and so back to 6:1 next week.
This diet easy for a man and a scientist.
Running every day (more or less) and at 67 years old, I feel quite good.

Next job is to add sugar consumption in to my excel data sheet (I count energy consumption every day – how ‘anal’ is that!!)

I’m thinking 6:1 and careful sugar control. I suppose I watch too many Horizon programmes.

    That’s very inspiring Hollers!!

well done on your success 🙂

    Congrats on your success!
    Stef.

Thanks for posting Hollers. It is fantastic to see people who have the staying power to make a year (or more) with this diet.

Congrats on reaching your goal, that must feel awesome.

Keeping a record of energy consumption daily can be quite interesting. Have tried doing that but find that I can’t stay committed with it. But it is amazing what you can learn about your habits when you do that sort of thing.
