  • I’m new so… I’ve chosen Monday and Thursday as my fast days. First two went fine. I have modified the 5:2 and only drink liquids during my fast. I know myself and I know that no food is easier than a “little”. A little just keeps me in a hunger state longer. No food I can just set it aside and I don’t even think of food.

    Yesterday was to be my third fast day. Went well until 3:30 pm and the wife phoned to remind me had supper to attend and that I needed to pick up wine to take to the hosts. Ooops I forgot.

    So I made the best of it and ate normally though I did cut way back on the wine and had a very small desert.

    I’m doing the third fast over today. I checked I have no meal engagements, lunch or supper so I’m good for today
